5.Advances in Research on Stem cell-derived exosomes in Ischemic heart disease
Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2016;29(9):987-992
Stem cell therapy provides immense hope for restoring the impaired cardiomyocytes .However, it has been debated on the effectiveness , mechanisms , and survival of the donated cell population in the ischemic myocardial milieu .Protective paracrine effect of stem cells on cardiomyocytes gradually arose great attentions .Exosomes , as typical representative of paracrine effect of stem cells, are 30-100 nm in size and tiny microvesicles released by cells in response to different physiological states , and enriched in pro-teins, messenger RNAs, and miRs characteristic of parental stem cells , represent great potential for treating cardiovascular diseases . Recent studies show that exosomes from different kinds of stem cells can effectively promote cardiac function by means of promoting the donated cell survival , proliferation and angiogenesis in the ischemia heart .The aim of this review is to summarize current research ef-forts on exosomes from different kinds of stem cells , including their potential mechanism to develop a potentially viable therapy for the treatment of impaired cardiomyocytes via promoting cardiomyocytes survival , proliferation and angiogenesis;inhibiting inflammatory re-sponse and cardiac fibrosis after myocardial infarction .
6.Signs of Cardiac Function Declining in Mitral Incompetence
Journal of Shanghai Jiaotong University(Medical Science) 2001;21(1):86-87
ObjectiveTo explore the relations between R peak time and cardiac function in pa- tients with mitral incompetence. Methods Left ventricular ejection fraction of 33 patients (subject group) less 50% and 22 patients (control group) over 50% was given ECG to determine R peak time. ResultsThe max average of R peak time was higher in subject group than in control group (P < 0. 0001). ConclusionThe results indicate that R peak time has negative correlation to cardiac function.
7.The treatment strategies for chronic pancreatitis: endoscopic treatment or surgical intervention
Chinese Journal of Digestive Surgery 2021;20(4):395-400
Chronic pancreatitis (CP) is a chronic inflammatory and fibrotic disease of the pancreas caused by a variety of causes. The basic treatment principle of CP is to remove the etiology, control the symptoms, improve the pancreatic secretory function and prevent the complications. At present, more and more studies have been conducted on CP treatment strategies. The step-up approach and the surgery first approach are both effective strategies for CP treatment. In clinical practice, endoscopic intervention can be the preferred treatment for pancreatic pseudocyst, pancreatic duct stone, and biliary stenosis. Partington operation is the first choice for dilated main pancreatic duct patients without pancreatic head lesion. Patients with pancreatic head lesions should be intervened with the Beger or Frey operation. For patients without main pancreatic duct dilatation, pancreatectomy should be performed according to the specific lesion location. The total pancreatectomy is advisable for patients with total pancreatic inflammatory disease or multiple lesions of pancreas. Surgeons should follow the individualized and multidisciplinary treatment concepts and strategies in choosing surgical procedures, especially for the control of surgical indications, timing and methods. The authors comprehensively analyze the research progress at home and abroad, elaborate the endoscopic treatment and surgical intervention strategies of CP in order to further optimize the overall efficacy of CP.
10.Research on collaborative innovation in traditional Chinese medicine of China based on patent cooperation network.
China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica 2015;40(6):1212-1218
In the situation of global completion, collaborative innovation is becoming increasingly important because its advantage in risk avoiding and innovation efficiency. In order to explore the model of collaborative innovation and its evolution in traditional Chinese medicine of China, the cooperation in traditional Chinese medicine patents of China from 1985 to 2013 has been analyzed by using the method of scientometrics and social network analysis. It is proved that, though the number of grated cooperative patents has increased sharply during the last thirty years, the degree of cooperation innovation in traditional Chinese medicine of China is still not high. Moreover, in spite of the individual subject' s leading role in the past domestic collaborative innovation in traditional Chinese medicine of China, the institutions have been more and more powerful and achieved great improvement. At last, core institutions, represented by universities have played an important role in the collaborative innovation of domestic institutions, because they are key links between many institutions and promote the transferring and diffusion of knowledge.
