In Novermber 2010,A global independent commission,consisting of many professional and academic leaders from diverse countries,came together to develop a shared vision and a common strategy for postsecondary education in medicine,nursing,and public health.The commission adopted a global outlook,a multiprofessional perspective,and a systems approach.This comprehensive framework considers the connections between education and health systems.To have a positive effect on health outcomes,the professional education subsystem must design new instructional and institutional strategies.The new idea is of reference value to Chinese medical education reform.
2.New Century Educational Objectives of Medical Specialty in the Field of International Vision and Reference

In recent years, many countries in the world has established the projects of medical education objectives. The goals for the projects are to develop a consensus within the medical education community on the attributes that medical students should possess at the time of graduation, and to set several learning objectives that can guide each medical school as it establishes its own program.Chinese medical schools should feel a sense of urgency in responding to the intent of these actives.

Based on summarizing the importance of education environment and the development and current status ofresearch on medical education environment, the authors measured the status of, and the problems existing in, educationenvironment of China Medical University by DREEM (Dundee Ready Education Environment Measure), and then sug-gested strategies to modify the education environment and hence to improve the quality of medical education on thebasis of the advanced concepts of education environment design and construction in the world and the authors' experi-ence in the reform of medical curriculum.[
4.Perception Differences Between Male and Female Students in Measuring Medical Education Environment and Corresponding Countermeasures

DREEM inventory developed by Dundee University in England was used to measure medical education environment of Medical University of China. It was found that the total perception of educational environment and the perception of teachers and learning of female students were higher than those of male students, but female students' confidence was lower than male students'. In this article the authors will express their own opinions on these problems and propose appropriate countermeasures.

General practitioner system is an important part of national health service system.Improving general medical education is an inevitable tendency of modern medical education.General medical science starts late in China.Development of Chinese general practitioner training system and general medical education are relatively insufficient and lack of relevant experiences.This paper introduced family doctor training process of Washington university school of medicine and revealed characteristics of systematization,standardization and pervasive of it to inspire our country to learn from the following aspects:(1) paying fully attention to the important role of general medical science in the national health service system; (2) systematically planning three-step training of general medical education ; (3) implementing general medical education teaching content and teaching staff development.

It is an essential component of medical exams to evaluate the clinical competency of medical students. After introducing Standardized Patients and non-Standardized Patients examinations into the final comprehensive examination, China Medical University continued to undertake the construction of computer-based case simulations examination system, a project of National Medical Examination Center. The article introduced the design and some crucial points in constructing the examination system.

This paper introduced the teaching reform in the integrated course of introduction to clinical medicine in China medical university.According to the capacity and quality in the global minimum essential requirements in medical education (GMER) proposed by the Institute for International Medical Education (IIME),we carried out the teaching reform of ‘early exposure to clinic’ in the integrated course of introduction to clinical medicine based on the theory of competency-based education (CBE) and took capacity-building as the teaching objective.We achieved good teaching effect and appraisal by students.
