1.The relationship between new suppressor gene RASSF1 and gastric-carcinoma
China Oncology 2001;0(05):-
RASSF1,a putative tumor suppressor gene identified at 3p21.3 has been frequently observed. Many reports suggested that those was no RASSF1 expression or was at abnormally low level in many carcinomas. It is possible that aberrant DNA methylation and loss of heterozygosity might be involved in the loss of RASSF1 expression.Other results demonstrate a relationship between EBV infection and aberrant methylation.

Objective:Our purpose was to investigate the growth regulation and postreceptor signal transduction of somatostatin (SS) on human colon cancer cell line. Methods:Low differentiated clone A cells of human carcinoma were treated with different concentrations of SS and the growth status was observed. Intracellular 1,4,5-trisphosphate (IP3) and cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) were extracted, then the concentrations of them were measured by liquid scintillation technique and gamma scintillation counter.Intracellular free calcium concentration was detected by loading Fura-2 and fluorescental technique. Protein kinase C (PKC) was extracted from cytosol and membrane, then the activity of both parts was determined with TaKai method. Results:The clone A cell growth was inhibited greatly by different concentrations of SS (10-10 to 10-5 mol/L) and it is related to the doses of SS.Somatortatin could largely inhibit the production of intracellular IP3, [Ca2+]i, and cAMP, and decrease the activity of PKC. Conclusion:The growth of Clone A cell can be inhibited by SS. The inhibition may be mediated by phosphate inositol pathway, so intracellular IP3, [Ca2+]i decreased, or inhibited the cell growth by inhibiting the activity of PKC.On the other hand, the cell proliferation may be inhibited by adenosine cyclase pathway, that is decreasing intracellular cAMP ,inhibiting cAMP-depending protein kinase.

Journal of Acupuncture and Tuina Science 2003;1(1):30-31
Objective To observe the effect of acupoint-injection on vascular dementia. Methods 1 ml of cytidine diphosphocholine was injected into Baihui ( GV 20) and Fengchi (GB 20, bilateral) respectively. 234 patients were treated. Results and conclusion: 49 cases were cured, 150 cases got improve, 35 cases had ineffectiveness, the total utility rate was 85.0%, so acupoint-injecting cytidine diphosphocholine is a utility method healing vascular dementia.

Neurology Asia 2020;25(2):139-143
Objective: To investigate the application of the calculated electrophysiological parameters in early
diagnosis of carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS). Methods: 44 patients (60 hands) with a diagnosis of
CTS and 31 healthy volunteers (44 hands) were enrolled. Acquired indicators include median nerve
distal motor latency (DML), complex muscle action potential (CMAP) amplitude, conduction velocity
(MCV), median nerve sensory nerve action potential (SNAP) amplitude, and conduction velocity
(SCV). Then the terminal latency index (TLI), the residual latency (RL), and the difference in peak
sensory latencies between the median and ulnar nerves (ΔPSL) were calculated. Results: The two
groups were matched in age and gender distribution. The CTS group showed significant difference
in SCV, DML, SNAP, and CMAP compared with the control group. The sensitivity, specificity, cutoff value, Youden index, and area under the curve of each indicator are respectively as follows: TLI
(0.733, 0.932, 0.622, 0.629, and 0.877), RL (0.750, 0.977, 1.334, 0.727, and 0.907), ΔPSL (0.950,
0.841, 0.150, 0.791, and 0.942), SCV (0.950, 0.796, 56.5, 0.746, and 0.946), DML (0.867, 0.932,
3.55, 0.799, and 0.930), SNAP (0.683, 0.932, 21.68, 0.615, and 0.844), and CMAP (0.683, 0.773,
8.76, 0.456, and 0.758).
Conclusion: The calculated electrophysiological parameters have higher sensitivities and specificities
relative to a single electrophysiological parameter, which could greatly improve the accuracy of early
diagnosis of CTS.

Chinese Archives of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery 2006;0(01):-
OBJECTIVE The aim of this study is to investigate the correlation between the spontaneous otoacoustic emission(SOAE)and transient evoked otoacoustic emission(TEOAE)in neonate. METHODS The subjects were 224 ears of 112 newborns(59 females, 53 males). The age of subjects ranged from 2 to 4 days (mean?SD: 2.68?0.74 day years). SOAE and TEOAE were measured with ILO96. RESULTS The correlation between SOAE number and TEOAE level were found (r=0.43, P

Objective:
To investigate the role and mechanism of action of Yiqi Huoxue Recipe (YQHXR) in regulating autophagy and reversing liver fibrosis in rats with carbon tetrachloride (CCl4)-induced liver fibrosis.
Methods:
Healthy male Wistar rats were intraperitoneally injected with a mixture of CCl4 (30%) and olive oil (70%) twice a week for 8 weeks to establish a rat model of liver fibrosis. The rats administered normal diet were used as control group. Furthermore, YQHXR or Fuzheng Huayu Recipe (FZHYR) was intragastrically administered to the rats. The serum levels of alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and aspartate aminotransferase (AST) were measured using an automatic biochemical analyzer. Hematoxylin-eosin (HE) staining and Masson staining were performed to observe the degree of fibrosis in rat liver. The protein expression of α-smooth muscle actin (α-SMA) and type I collagen α1 chain (Col1A1) in liver tissue was measured by immunohistochemistry. Furthermore, the mRNA and protein expression of α-SMA, Col1A1, autophagy-related protein 7 (Atg7), microtubule-associated protein 1 light chain 3 (LC3), and ubiquitin-binding protein (SQSTM1/p62) were determined using qRT-PCR and Western blotting, respectively. Comparison between multiple groups was made by one-way analysis of variance, and comparison between any two groups was made using the LSD test.

Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 2019;35(10):874-877
Objective:
To investigate the effect of PM2.5 exposure on the thyroid function in male SD rats.
Methods:
Adult Sprague-Dawley rats were divided into " filtered air" (FA) and " PM2.5" groups. These rats exposed to the 2 kinds of air for 12 weeks were killed and their plasma and thyroid tissues were taken for investigation. The morphological status and pathological changes of thyroid tissue were observed after H&E staining. The levels of triiodothyronine (T3), free triiodothyronine (FT3), thyroxine(T4), free thyroxine (FT4), anti-thyroglobulin antibody (TGAb), anti-thyroid peroxidase antibody (TPOAb), thyrotropin (TSH), tumor necrosis factor α (TNF-α), and interleukin-6 (IL-6) in rats were measured by ELISA.
Results:
The results showed that there was no significant difference in body weight between two groups after 12 weeks of exposure to either filtered air or PM2.5. No pathological changes and significant differences were observed in the thyroid tissues of two groups after HE staining. There were no significant differences in plasma levels of T4, T3, FT3, TNF-α, and IL-6 between two groups. However, compared with rats exposed to filtered air, rats exposed to PM2.5 had significantly lower plasma FT4[(3.81±1.23)
