1.CT Diagnosis of Granulomatous Diseases in Chest

Objective To evaluate CT diagnosis and differential diagnosis of thoracic granulomatous diseases.Methods 13 cases of thoracic granulomatous diseases(tuberculoma 5,mycosis 3,sarcoidosis 2,Wegener's granuloma 2,eosinophilic granuloma 1) proved surgically-pathologically together with clinical and imaging data undergone analysis,especially put emphasis on CT features.Results ①Pulmonary granulomatous lesions commonly presented as nodules or masses,single or multiple,all the lesions had cavity,as well known pulmonary tuberculoma,pulmonary mycosis and Wegener's granuloma.②Cavity associated with mobile mass inside presented as air meniscus or air sing sign were the imaging characteristics of pulmonary aspergilloma.③Hilar and mediastinal lymphadenectasis always presented as bilaterally and symmetrically that was the typical sign of stage I sarcoidosis.④The multiple,multiplicity together with necrosis and cavity were the characteristics of wegener's granuloma.⑤Nodules and pneumtoceles were the major specific signs of pulmonary eosinophilic granuloma.Conclusion To analyse CT specific features and in combination with clinical data,it can improve the diagnostic accuracy of pulmonary granulomatous diseases.
2.Diagnosis and treatment of testicular torsion (report of 17 cases)

Objective To study the diagnosis and treatment of acute testicular torsion. Methods 17 cases of testicular torsion treated from January 1995 to December 2000 were reviewed.The diagnosis and treatment were analysed. Results The diagnosis of testicular torsion in all the 17 cases was assessed on color Doppler ultrasonics.1 case was cured by manual detorsion,2 by surgical detorsion and orchidopexy,14 by orchiectomy and contralateral orchidopexy.The fertile ability of 4 cases over 18 years old was observed,3 being normal and 1 slightly below normal. Conclusions Color Doppler ultrasonics examination can serve as a chief adjuvant diagnostic method.All cases with a torsion more than 360? and longer than 24 h will have the ipsilateral testicular loss,whereas in case the torsion is less than 360? and less than 24 h have a chance to preserve the testis by surgical detorsion and orchidopexy.
3.Synthesis of seven sinapine analogs and their effects on the tension of smooth muscle of intestines isolated from rabbit.

Seven sinapine analogs (6a-6g) were synthesized using cinnamon acid or benzoic acid and their derivatives as starting materials, which obtained from substituted benzaldehyde and malonate. The structures of target compounds were characterized by IR, 1H NMR and elemental analysis. The effects of compounds 6a-6g on the smooth muscle of intestine isolated from rabbit were studied, and the experimental results showed that compounds 6a, 6d and 6g had diastolic action, while 6f had contractile action.
4.Infulence of regulating liver-qi and tonifying kidney recipes on hypothalamus-pituitary-ovary axis in rats under psychologic stress

AIM: To investigate the effect of relieving liver-qi recipes(Radix Bupleuri,Radix Paeoniae Alba,Fructus Aurantii,etc.) on the neuro reproductive endocrine in female rats under psychologic stress. METHODS: The psychologic stress induced syndrome of liver-qi stagnation in female rats was established by tail pinch.The hypothalamus pituitary and serum levels of NE,DA,5 HT,5-HIAA,DOPAC,HVA and the serum FSH,LH,E2,T,P,PRL in rats of any groups were measured. RESULTS: The levels of NE in hypothalamus pituitary and FSH,LH,E2,P in serum of model rats were lower and the contents of DA,5-HT,5-HIAA in hypothalamus pituitary and in serum and NE,T in serum were significantly higher than those of the normal control.The serum P and LH in the complex group were elevated.The descending NE in hypothalamus pituitary and FSH,E2 in serum increased and the ascended DA,5-HT,5-HIAA in hypothalamus pituitary and NE,5-HT,T in serum significantly descresed in the shugan group and the complex group.The enhance of NE in hypothalamus pituitary and FSH,P in serum and the reduction of 5-HT in hypothalamus pituitary and 5-HT,NE,T in serum were also obversed in the bushen group. CONCLUSION: Regulating liver-qi and tonifying the kidney recipes could improve the function of neuro reproductive endocrine system which could be attenuated or disturbed by psychologic stress.
5.Argon plasma coagulation in the management of polyp remnants in colorectum

AIM: Remnant polyp tissues are often found after polypectomy. In this study, we assessed the outcome and safety of argon plasma coagulation (APC) in the management of colorectal sessile or semipedunculated polyp remnants after polypectomy. METHODS: Sixty-one colorectal polyps of 33 patients underwent polypectomy in Department of Digestion Medicine, Tangdu Hosptial, the Fourth Military Medical University of Chinese PLA from 2004 to 2007. Colorectal polyps type was identified by pathological examination. All polyps were removed under colonoscope with the diathermic snare, and the polyp remnants were destroyed with APC (Erbe, Germany). The power output was initially set at 40-50 W. In case of visibly insufficient coagulation, the output power was increased gradually by 5 W up until the remnants were completely ablated. Follow-up endoscopies were performed 1 and 3 months after the treatment. Pathological examination and APC treatment were performed when the recurrence of polyps was found. RESULTS: ①All 61 colorectal polyps were removed with the diathermic snare and the polyp remnants were destroyed with APC successfully only once. ②During the follow-up averaged 2.4 months, effective destruction of remnant polyp tissue was obtained in 59 polyps (96.7%) in 31 patients (93.9%). 6.Antibody preparation and enzyme linked immunosorbent assay of Lonicera japonica phenylalnine ammonia lyase.

The expression of phenylalnine ammonia lyase (LJPAL1) is closely related to the content of active compounds in Lonicera japonica. In this paper, a prokaryotic expression vector is constructed and LJPAL1 protein is expressed in E. coli. Three antigen sites were synthesized to peptide antigen and prepared polyclonal antibody of Anti-LJT-1, Anti-LJT-2 and Anti-LJT-3, separately. Antibody Anti-LJT-2 was screened using Western blotting. And indirect ELISA was built using Anti-LJT-2. The results of this study will be a base for honeysuckle chemical quality and evaluation kits.
7.Purification Technology of Camellia Saponin Using D101 Macroporous Adsorption Resin

OBJECTIVE:To study thc purification technology of camellia saponin using D101 macroporous adsorption resin.METHODS:The loading volume of sample and the adsorption quantity of D101 macroporous adsorption resin and the concentration and volume of alcohol in eluting water -soluble foreign substances and total cemallia saponins were investigated taking the content of total cemallia saponins as index.RESULTS:The loading volume of sample of D101 macroporous adsorption resin was 3 fold that of resin D101(or 3 BV,resin bed volume) and its adsorption quantity was 566 mg?g~(-1)(crude drug);3 BV distilled water and 1 BV 20%ethanol were used for the elution of the water-soluble foreign substances,and 3BV of 85%ethanol was used for the elution of total cemallia saponins.CONCLUSION:D101 macroporous resin has good purification efficacy for camellia saponins.The purification process is simple with low cost,and it is applicable for large - scale industrialized production.
8.Endovascular interventional treatment of carotid artery injury

Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of the endovascular interventional minimally invasive techniques(IMIT)for treatment of carotid artery iniury. Methods A total of 111 cases of carotid artery injury diagnosed by digital subtraction angiography(DSA)were treated with IMIT.Except for 1 case of extracranial segment injury of internal carotid artery treated with transcatheter stentgraft placement to obturate the rupture of carotid artery,the other 110 cases of intracranial segment injury of internal carotid artery(ICA)were treated with embolization with balloons in 73,embolization with coils in 12,injection of NBCA and PVA in 6,stent-graft placement in 11 and embolization with multiple materials in 8. Results Angiography demonstrated rupture of extracranial segment of internal carotid artery and arteriovenous fistula(AVF)at the neck in 1 case,traumatic carotid cavernous fistula(TCCF)in 83.traumatic pseudoaneurysm at intracranial segment of carotid artery in 14 and both TCCF and pseudoaneurysm in 13.The interventional treatment succeeded in all cases and interual carotid arteries were well protected in 62 cases.Completion angiography documented complete obliteration of the fistulas,with complete disappearance of the clinical symptoms in 110 cases and improvement in 1.Minor complications occurred in 2 cases,without death occurred.During the follow-up for 1-14 months,16 cases reexamined with DSA,which showed that the symptoms of 3 cases reoccurred,2 of whom were cured by re-embolization and 1 was under clinical observation. Conclusions IMIT including transcatheter selective embolization and stent-graft implantation is minimally invasive,safe and effective for treatment of carotid artery injury.
9.Chemical constituents from roots of Stellera chamaejasme

Object To study the chemical constituents from the roots of Stellera chamaejasme L. Methods Chemical constituents were isolated by chromatographic methods and identified by physiochemical and spectral analysis. Results One lignan and three biflavonoids were purified and determined as bursehernin (Ⅰ), chamaejasmenin B (Ⅱ), isoneochamaejasmin A (Ⅲ),and (+)-chamaejasmin (Ⅳ). Conclusion Compound Ⅲ and Ⅳ are determined as new optical compounds. Compound I is first isolated from Stellera L. species.
