Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2012;(24):3697-3698
Objective To compare the effects of three types intrauterine device(IUD)insertion immediately after vacuum aspiration. Methods 120 cases of artificial abortion immediately placed IUD women were selected.According to the IUD type, the patients were divided into the TCu3s0AIUD group 40 cases, active gamma type 40 cases in group IUD,palace copper 40 cases in ZooIUD group, followed up for 12 months. Results All of the subjects were not with IUD pregnancy. The termiration rate was Palace copper ZooIUD group 27.5%,active gamma type IUD group7.5% TCu3s0AIUD 15.0%,three groups of termination rate had a significant difference(F=5.88,P<0.05);threegroup IUD complications had no statistical difference(all P>0.05).Follow-up for 12 months, palace copper group ZooIUD menstruation increase incidence rate of 42.5%,significantly higher than the other two groups 15.0%,20.0%(F=8.96,P<0.05);the difference between the three groups in irregular bleeding was significant(F=17.77,P<0.01).Conclusion The three kinds of IUD has good contraception effect, wherein the active gamma IUD has smaller adverse reaction, continue to use rate is high,so it is worthy of clinical application.

OBJECTIVE To investigate the risk factors of nosocomial infection among child tumor patients with post-surgery chemotherapy.METHODS A total of 312 child tumor cases with post-surgery chemotherapy in the pediatric ward during from Dec 2004 to Dec 2008 were retrospectively reviewed. And 16 variables such as age, diagnosis, white blood cell count and nosocomial infections were studied. The data were analyzed with the single factorial ?2 test and multifactorial Logistic-regression analysis.RESULTS The incidence of nosocomial infection was 27.56%.The length of hospitalization, the white blood cell count, the neutrophil cell count and the invasive operation were found as independent risk factors of the nosocomial infection.CONCLUSIONS Shortening the hospitalization length, increasing the white blood cell and the neutrophil cell count and avoiding the unnecessary invasive operation will decrease the nosocomial infection.

BACKGROUND: There are many studies on the quality of life (QOL) of patients with breast cancer at home and abroad at present. But the effect of antidepressants on the QOL of depressive patients with breast cancer is not clear yet.OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effect of fluoxetine on the QOL of depressive patients with breast cancer.DESIGN: A self-controlled and observational comparative study of taking the patient as the subjects.SETTING: The research institute of medical psychology and psychiatric specialty in two universities and a psychiatric department in a city hospital.PARTICIPANTS: Sixty-three female post-operative patients with breast cancer hospitalized in the First Affiliated Hospital and Second Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University and Dalian Tumor Hospital, with an average age of (50 ± 9) years.INTERVENTIONS: Sity-three depressive patients with breast cancer were treated with fluoxetine for 8 weeks. Treatment emergent symptom scale (TESS) and relative laboratory examinations were used to evaluate the safety of fluoxetine to depression and anxiety of depressive patients with breast cancer. QOL of WHO scale was used to assess the QOL of the patients before and after administration.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURS:①Score of every index of QOL of WHO;②Side effects and adverse effects.RESULTS: The scores of physiology, psychology and independence in QOLafter 8 weeks' administration(16.30 ±2.17, 14.41 ± 1.85, 16. 90 ± 1.53)were significantly higher than those before grouping (13.61 ±2.46,12.98 ± 2.65, 13.65 ± 2.45) ( t = 6.52, P < 0.01; t = 2.41, P< 0.05; t= 8.93, P < 0.01 ). No obvious side effect was observed during administration.CONCLUSION: Fluoxetine can significantly improve the QOL of patients with breast cancer and there are fewer side effects during the treatment.

Objective To study the clinical effect and complication of the combination treatment of lamivudine and adeforvir dipivoxil in decompeasated hepatitis B cirrhosis. Methods Eighty-six cases of decompensated hepatitis B cirrhosis were divided into the observation group and the control group with 43 eases each by random digits table. The control group was treated with routine treatment and lamivudine, and the observation group was added with adefovir dipivoxil on the base of the treatment in the control group. The clinical effect after 12 months' treatment was evaluated. Results After 12 months'treatment, the level of alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), total bilirubin (TBil), albumin ( ALB ) and Child-Pugh grade had significant improvement than that before the treatment in two groups(P < 0.05 ), and in the observation group they improved more obvious (P <0.05). The frequence of seroconversion of HBeAg/HBeAb and HBV DNA in the observation group was higher than that in the control group [86.05%(37/43) vs. 65.12%(28/43),79.07% (34/43) vs. 55.81%(24/43)], and the difference between the two groups was significant (P < 0.05 ). Seven cases of times complications happened in the control group and 8 cases of times complications happened in the observation group and the difference between the two groups was not significant (P > 0.05 ). Conclusion The effect of lamivudine and adefovir dipivoxil in the treatment of decompensated hepatitis B cirrhosis is superior to the only lamivudine.

Journal of Environment and Health 2007;0(10):-
Objective To understand the testing capability for organochlorine pesticides of the food inspection labs in China. Methods The CNCA organized the proficiency testing(PT) of determination of heptachlor, aldrin and dieldrin in the vegetable oils. 21 labs from 14 provinces (cities) took part in the PT. The GC method prescribed by official method of AOAC was recommended, other method was also permitted. Results The PT showed that 81.0%-85.7% labs presented satisfactory results, 9.5% had questionable results and 4.8%-9.5% had dissatisfactory results. Conclusion Most of the labs that took part in the PT have good competence in analyzing organochlorine pesticides.

Journal of Environment and Health 2007;0(11):-
Objective To establish an HPLC method to determine sudan Ⅰ-Ⅳ and dye para red in the lipstick. Methods The samples were extracted with the acetonitrile, after centrifuge and filter, the extracted solution was tested by HPLC-UV and the external standard method was employed to do the quantitative analysis. Results As the concentrations was 1.0 mg/kg, the mean recovery rates were 93%-97%, the RSD was less than 4.6%, the detection limit was 0.05 mg/kg and the linear range was 0.2-5.0 mg/kg(the correlative coefficient ranged 0.998 5-0.999 8). Conclusion This method is simple, accurate, rapid and applicable to the determination of sudan I-IV and dye para red in the lipsticks.

Objective: To observe the changes of hippocampus in the rats of depression model and study the protective effects of EGb (extracts of gingkobiloba) and Venlafaxine on brain injury. Methods: Rats were divided into 6 groups. Groups A served as normal control. Group B?C?D?E?F received 21 days chronic stress. Group C?D?E?F were fed with normal food, EGb, Venlafaxine and EGb+Venlafaxine respectively for 28 days after enduring 21 days chronic stress. Every rat had been observed open-field behavior before decapitated. One side of the hippocampus were measured the expression of nNOS by immunohistochemistry method, the other side hippocampus and the serum were measured the concentrations of NO.Results:The expression of protein nNOS in hippocampus of group B was increased compared with group A (P

OBJECTIVE To investigate the different methods to calculate the rate of missing report on nosocomial infections.METHODS We had two methods to define the case of nosocomial infections, one was that the cases(infected) during the month we investigated, the other was that patients infected during the in hospital time. Then we got two different rates and "actually" nosocomial infection cases and compare the difference of the two results.(RESULTS) It was significant difference between these two results(P
