Diabetic cardiomyopathy(DCM) is a disease independently related with coronary artery atherosclerotic heart disease, hypertensive heart disease, valvular heart disease, congenital heart disease and other heart diseases that are uniquely associated with diabetes mellitus, and the pathological manifestations of DCM are mainly myocardial hypertrophy, interstitial fibrosis, necrosis and apoptosis.Endoplasmic reticulum is the central location of many important cellular functions, and endoplasmic reticulum swelling and functional disorder in diabetic cardiomyocytes, high blood sugar can cause endoplasmic reticulum stress, suggesting that endoplasmic reticulum stress(ERS) may be involved in the pathogenesis of diabetic cardiomyopathy and development.Based on this, this paper summarizes the progress of ERS in diabetic cardiomyopathy from the pathogenesis of diabetic cardiomyopathy, unfolding protein reaction and the related role of ERS in DCM.

Objective To investigate the relation between the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and type Ⅳ collagen and the renal lesion of diabetes mellitus in diabetic rats. Methods Wistar rats were divided at random into normal control group(NC group) and diabetic model group(DM group), each group containing 20 animals. The rats models of diabetic mellitus were induced by streptozotocin(STZ). At the 8th week after induction, the expression levels of VEGF and type IV collagen in the kidney tissues in the two groups of rats were detected using immunohistochemistry. At the same time, the renal function of the rats was measured. Abstract: Objective　To analyze the drug resistance of Staphylococcus aureus in blood samples of children and adults from 50 hospitals in Shandong Province, and to understand the drug sensitivity characteristics of Staphylococcus aureus bloodstream infection (BSI), so as to provide reference for clinical experience. Methods　The distribution and drug resistance of Staphylococcus aureus isolated from blood samples from 50 hospitals in Shandong province from 2017 to 2020 were analyzed based on the Cooperative Research Network of Pediatric Bacterial and Fungal Resistance Monitoring in Shandong Province. Meanwhile, the drug sensitivity characteristics of Staphylococcus aureus were divided into children group (<14 years old) and adult group (≥14 years old). The data were analyzed by Whonet 5.6 and SPSS 22.0 with reference to CLSI 2021 M100 document standard judgment results. Results　A total of 3 661 Staphylococcus aureus strains were collected from 50 medical institutions in Shandong Province, including 675 in 2017, 870 in 2018, 1 080 in 2019, and 1 036 in 2020. The drug resistance rates of multiple antibiotics in blood culture methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) group and methicillin-sensitive Staphylococcus aureus (MSSA) group were significantly different (P<0.05). There were significant differences in antibiotic resistance rates between adult group and children group (P<0.05). The overall detection rate of MRSA was 27.5%, and no staphylococcus aureus strains resistant to vancomycin, linezolid and tigecycline were found. Conclusion　The detection rate of MRSA strains decreased continuously and increased by 2020. The detection rate of MRSA in adult group was lower than that in children group, suggesting that we should pay attention to the monitoring of bacterial resistance in children group, to the management of multiple resistant bacteria and rational use of antibacterial drugs.

Objective:To study the effect ofmetformin combined with insulin aspart on the serum cholesterol(TC),total Bilirubin (TBil),uric Acid(UA),urinary Micro Protein(mAlb) levels and Maternal and Infant Outcomes of gravida with Gestational Diabetes Mellitus.Methods:84 patients ofgestational diabetes mellitus who received therapy from June 2014 to June 2016 in our hospital were selected.According to random number table,those patients were divided into the observation group (n=42) and the control group (n=42),on the basis of routine treatment,The control group was treated with insulin aspart,while the observation group was combined with metformin hydrochloride.The blood glucose index and the levels of TC,TBil,UA,mAlb and maternal and infant outcomes were compared.Results:After treatment,the levels of fasting blood glucose (FBG),postprandial 2h blood glucose (2hPG),glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c),TC,TBil,UA and mAlb in the observation group were significantly lower than the control group,the levels of TBil was significantly higher than the control group (P＜0.05);the incidence ofgestational hypertension,hydramnios,premature birth,cesarean section,giant child and neonatal jaundice were significantly lower than the control group (P ＜0.05).Conclusion:Metformin combined with insulin aspart was well for gestational diabetes mellitus,which could effectively improve the blood glucose indicators and TC,TBil,UA,mAlb levels,maternal and infant outcomes.

Objective To investigate the association of single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs)in regulated upon activation normal T cell expressed and secreted (RANTES) gene C-28G(RANTES C-28G),RANTES A-403G and Eotaxin-3 gene C +77T(Eotaxin-3 C+77T) with asthma in Han ethnic children. Methods The buccal mucosa swabs of 192 Han ethnic children with asthma (asthma group) were collected,and polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) was employed to detect the SNP loci of RANTES A-403G,C-28G and Eotaxin-3 C+77T.Besides,another 192 healthy subjects (aged 18 to 22 years) without sibship with those in asthma group were served as controls.Genotype and genotypic distribution between these two groups were analysed. Results There was no significant differences in genotype and genotypic distribution of SNP loci of RANTES A-403G and RANTES C-28G between asthma group and control group (P>0.05),while there were significant differences in genotypic distribution of Eotaxin-3 C+77T between these two groups.The frequency of Eotaxin-3 C+77T T/T genotype in asthma group was significantly higher than that in control group (32.3% vs 12.5%,OR=3.44,P=0.000). Conclusion Eotaxin-3 C+77T may be the asthma susceptible SNP loci for Han ethnic children,and Eotaxin-3 C+77T T/T is significantly related with the development of childhood asthma

Aim To explore the role of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate ( NADPH ) oxidase in high fat-induced injury in MIN6 isletβ cells. Methods MIN6 islet β cells were exposed to different concen-trations of palmitic acid ( 0. 1 , 0. 3 , 0. 5 , 0. 8 mmol · L-1 ) for 48 h and different time points of 0. 5 mmol· L-1 palmitic acid(24,48,72,96 h). Cell viability was measured by MTT, the protein expression of NADPH oxidase subunits such as p22 phox , p47 phox , p67 phox and gp91 phox and apoptosis related proteins such as Bcl-2 and Bax were determined by Western blot. Results MIN6 islet cells exposed to palmitic acid at 0. 5 mmol ·L-1 for 48 h showed a decrease in their viability and an increase in the expression of NADPH oxidase sub-units(p22phox、p47phox、p67phox and gp91phox) and Bax(P<0. 05 ) , while Bcl-2 expression was significantly re-duced. the pretreat with NADPH oxidase inhibitor di-phenyliodonium( DPI,10 μmol · L-1 ) significantly in-hibited high fat-induced Bcl-2 and Bax expression( P<0. 05 ) . Conclusion Activated NADPH oxidase might play an important role in the treatment of high fat-in-duced injury in MIN6 islet cells.

Objective To evaluate the clinical value of endovascular therapy based on Angiosome concept in critical limb ischemia (CLI) patients.Methods A retrospective study was undertaken in 62 patients (62 limbs) diagnosed as critical limb ischemia (Rutherford class 5/6) and received percutaneous transluminal angioplasty from July 2011 to October 2013.Patients were divided into direct (35 patients) and indirect (27 patients) groups depending on whether feeding artery flow to the site of ulcer was successfully achieved or not based on the angiosome concept,and the between-group clinic outcomes including preoperative and postoperative ankle-brachial index (ABI),ulcer healing,and the rates of freedom from amputation were compared and analyzed.Results There were no significant difference between two groups for ABI pre-operatively (0.16 ±0.26 vs.0.15 ±0.28; P =0.885) and post-operatively (0.82 ± 0.26 vs.0.81 ±0.24; P =0.877).During follow-up,the healing rate of ischemia ulcer in patients without amputation at 1 year (91％ vs.74％ ; P =0.027) were significantly higher in the direct group than in the indirect group.There was no difference between two groups for healing time (162 ±49) d vs.(160 ±46) d; P =0.950).The rates of freedom from amputation at 1 year (84％ ±3％ vs.76％ ±4％ ; P =0.025) and 2 years (79％ ±4％ vs.72％ ±4％ ; P =0.031) were significantly higher in the direct group than in the indirect group.Conclusions Endovascular therapy based on Angiosome concept in CLI patient is an effective procedure with satisfactory clinic outcomes,contributing to healing of ischemia ulcer and increase amputation-free rate.

The content of ATP, ADP, AMP, sodium phosphate and sodium pyrophosphate were determined by 31P NMR, the linear range of ATP, ADP and AMP were found to be 0.004-0.080 mol x L(-1), sodium phosphate and sodium pyrophosphate were 0.005-0.100 mol x L(-1). The RSD were 0.40%-1.30%, the recovery were 96.9% - 105.2%. The method has been applied to the determination of ATP injection. The impurities of ATP injection were ADP and sodium phosphate. The content of ATP is in line with the requirement of the pharmacopoeia. The results indicated that the method is of good reproducibility, high accuracy, rapid and simple operation, without pretreatment and interference of other elements, 31P NMR is a new and reliable method of analyzing ATP, ADP, AMP and phosphate.
