Objective To study the efficacy of pelvic reconstruction surgery in the treatment of pelvic organ prolapsey (POP).Methods 18 patients with POP underwent pelvic reconstruction surgery were selected.Clinical parameters during peri-operation were recorded.After 3 months and 6 months,pelvic organ prolapse quantitative examination(POP-Q) and anatomic improvement in these patients were analyzed.Comparisons of pelvic floor distress impact questionnaire short form 7 (PFIQ-7) and quality of sexual life of chinese women questionnaire in these patients before and after surgery were used to evaluate quality of life and quality of sexual life.Results Median operation time was (90.0 ± 13.2) minutes and median blood loss was (30.0 ± 1.2) ml,all the patients were followed.The objective cure rate was 100％.The mean score of post-operative PFIQ-7 were significantly lower than those of pre-operation (P ＜ 0.01),and those of qualify of sexual life of chinese women questionnaire was no significantly difference (P ＞0.05).The rate of mesh crosion was 0,and there was no case of de novo urinary incontinence and de novo dyspareunia.Conclusion Pelvic reconstruction surgery is a safe and efficacious management.It can improve qualify of life remarkably and have no influence on sexual quality of life.

There is a high prevalence of gastric cancer in China,but most of the patients are diagnosed at advanced stages,when chemotherapy is regarded as an important component of the multimodal treatment.Chemotherapy has demonstrated advantages over best suppor-tive care in prolonging survival and improving quality of life.Over the past 40 years,the clinical responses of two or three-drug combination chemotherapy regimens have been accepted,and 5-fluorouracil,cisplatin and epirubicin have been most frequently used in gastric cancer.Recently,the therapeutic effects of advanced gastric cancer treated by new regimen consisted of docetaxel,irinotecan,oxaliplatin and capecitabine have been further enhanced.The molecular targeted agent,cetuximab and bevacizumab,combined with chemotherapy,would be more promising therapeutic regimens in the treatment of advanced gastric caner.

Objective To analyze the clinical features of infective endocarditis with positive antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies ,and compare with ANCA associated small vessel vasculitis(AASV). Methods Three IE patients with positive ANCA were analyzed, and 13 cases from literatures were reviewed. Results Sixteen patients had positive anti-PR3 ANCA, in which 2 cases had both positive (anti-PR3 and anti-MPO ANCA) ANCA. All patients had some clinical manifestations mimic AASV, including fever ( 13/16, 81% ), rash (8/16, 50% ), rapidly progressive glomerulonephritis (7/16, 44% ), splenomegaly (6/16, 38% ). Streptococcal species were identified in 12 patients, and cardiac valvular abnormalities were demonstrated in all patients. All patients except 2, who died of cerebral hemorrhage followed by cerebral infarction, recovered with antibiotic therapy. Conclusion Infective endocarditis sometimes can have the same clinical features as AASV, so physicians should carefully differentiate between them when dealing with patients with positive ANCA antibodies.

[Objective]To explore the change of serum gastrin and G-cell in gastric antrum in rat model of spleen-qi deficiency and the curative effect of huangqi jianzhong decoction(HQJZD).[Methods]Spleen-qi deficiency syndrome was induced in rats by compound methods.After the models had been established,they were treated by different dosages of HQJZD.And at different time points,serum xylose,creatine phosphokinase,gastrin and G cells were observed.[Results]These indexes in groups of different dosages of HQJZD recovered gradually.Especially after 21 days' treatment,in groups of the middle and the high dosages,these indexes were increasing significantly when compared with those in the model control group(P

Objective To construct a lentiviral expression vector of murine RelB for RNAi,and then to effectively silence the RelB gene expression of murine bone marrow derived dendritic cells for constructing the bone marrow tolerogenic dendritic cell,in order to provide an experimental foundation for a novel clinical therapy of autoimmune disease.Methods RelB shRNA sequence of mouse was designed by on-line designer software on Corp.Invitrogen,after synthesis and annealing,double strand oligonucleotides(dsoligoes)were cloned into the pENTRTM/U6 plasmid,then after sequencing,a positive clone was further subcloned into pLenti6/BLOCK-iTTM-DEST vector.It was then transformed into stb13 competent cell,and after sequencing,293FT cell line was transfected by above positive recombined plasmid and lentiviral packing materials.It was incubated for 48 to 72 h in a 37℃,5% CO2 incubator.Culture supernatant was harvested and stored at-80℃,then the virus titer was determined by serial dilution assay.Results It was showed from sequencing figures that all the pENTRTM/U6-RelB-shRNA plasmids were positive clone vector,and this positive recombinant vector was recombined with pLenti6/BLOCK-iTTM/U6-DEST vector.It was then transformed into stb13 competent cell and screen positive clone by ampicillin,and resequenced by the use of primer forward U6 primer.The results also showed that recombinant lentiviral vector was positive clone.Viral particle was packaged with other packaging material mediated by lipofectamine 2000 in 293FT cell line.Cultural supernatant was collected and stored at-80℃,and lentiviral particle titer was determined by serial dilution assay with 6?105/transduced unit.Conclusion Lentiviral shRNA expression vector of murine RelB gene for RNAi was successfully constructed.It might be a rational procedure to make tolerogenic DC,and then to develop a DC vaccine and DC-based immunotherapy for autoimmune diseases.

Objective To probe into the optometry students' acceptability of interactive teaching mode by the questionnaire survey.Methods Totally 207 optometry students including 42 five-year undergraduate students,17 seven-year program students,95 three-year postgraduate students and 53 three-year junior college students were investigated for their acceptability of interactive teaching mode by the questionnaire survey.Results The results showed that 63.3％ of the students preferred traditional teaching mode; 70％ of the students would like to accept interactive teaching mode,the others didn't accept it or hesitated to accept it.Lack of self-confidence was the major reason.Conclusions Most medical college students are willing to accept the interactive teaching mode.Interactive teaching mode should be combined with traditional teaching mode.

In 1958. Kala-azar was basically eliminated in Jiangsu province. Because vigorous control measures were taken afterwords, only 11 Kala-azar patients were detected during 1973-1985. For general evaluation of control measures of Kala-azar, an overall survey on a relatively large scale was conducted in 1991-1992 in 56 townships located in 14 counties of 4 prefectures and cities. The results showed that neither new Kala-azar patient was detected nor infectious sandfly was found, the immune status of population was similar to those in which Kala-azar has been eliminated. We consider the control measures of Kala-azar in Jiangsu province is more consolidated than ever and the province has now tured to be a non-endemic area.

Objective:To observe the clinical effects of integrated disease and TCM syndrome on patients with second degree atrioventricular block.Methods:Because of the lentor cardiac rhythm characteristics of econd degree atrioventricular block,the herbs which had the effect in increasing cardiac rhythm were selected and were used in combination of clinical syndrome differentiation to treat 35 cases of second degree atrioventricular block.Results:The total effective rate was 88.6%.Conclusion:Integrated differentiation of disease and TCM syndrome had significant effects on second degree atrioventricular block.

Objective To prepare the microarrays for joint detection of HBV and HDV. Methods The specific primers of PCR were designed with Primer Premier 5.0 program according to the conserved regions of HBV and HDV. The PCR fragments were purified and cloned into the pMD18-T vectors. The recombinant plasmids were extracted from positive clones and the target gene fragments were sequenced. The DNA microarray was obtained by spotting PCR products onto the surface of glass slides by robotics. Restriction display PCR (RD-PCR) was used to label the samples. Results After the sequences were aligned, we found that the products of PCR amplification were the specific gene fragments of HBV and HDV. The hybridized signals on gene chips indicated that the specificity and sensitivity of DNA microarray for joint detecting the HBV and HDV were satisfactory. Conclusion Using PCR amplification products to construct gene chips is a quick, simple and effective method for clinical diagnosis of HBV and HDV. Further application of restriction display PCR technique in labeling the sample may expedite and raise the sensitivity in multi-virus detection by microarray technology.
