Keap1 -Nrf2/ARE pathway plays a wide role of cell protection function in anti-tumor,antistress,anti-apoptosis,anti-inflammatory response.It has become a focus of the neuroprotective effects in nervous system.We will review on the latest research of Keap1-Nrf2/ARE pathways in cerebral ischemia.It will provide a basis for the prevention and treatment of central nervous system.

Results Histopathologic investigation showed that among 54 lesions,there were 13 cases of adenoma,38 cases of adenoma with atypical hyperplasia (10 cases with mild dysplasia,23 with moderate dysplasia and 5 with severe dysplasia )and 3 cases of mucosal cancer. We followed forty cases,local recurrence was found in none of 29 cases after 6 months of EMR. However,the recurrence was found in 2 of 11 cases after 1 month of EPMR and 1 each after 3 and 6 month of EPMR. There was no recurrence after further endoscopic re-treatment. Among 3 cancer patients,2 patients shifted to surgery due to patient's preference and 1 patient was followed up for 6 months. All of them were found without local recurrence by endoscopic biopsies or surgical results. Conclusions Chromoscopy,magnifying colonoscopy and EUS have benefits in diagnosis of early large bowel tumors,and it is also helpful in selecting the proper treatment so as to reduce the complication and recurrence.

The content of ATP, ADP, AMP, sodium phosphate and sodium pyrophosphate were determined by 31P NMR, the linear range of ATP, ADP and AMP were found to be 0.004-0.080 mol x L(-1), sodium phosphate and sodium pyrophosphate were 0.005-0.100 mol x L(-1). The RSD were 0.40%-1.30%, the recovery were 96.9% - 105.2%. The method has been applied to the determination of ATP injection. The impurities of ATP injection were ADP and sodium phosphate. The content of ATP is in line with the requirement of the pharmacopoeia. The results indicated that the method is of good reproducibility, high accuracy, rapid and simple operation, without pretreatment and interference of other elements, 31P NMR is a new and reliable method of analyzing ATP, ADP, AMP and phosphate.

AIM To investigate the preventive effects of taurine on the left ventricle hypertrophy in renovascular hypertensive rats. METHODS Two-kidney 1-clip (2K1C) rats were used to establish the model of renovascular hypertension. The myocardial local aldosterone(Ald) and AngⅡconcentration (MDC,MAC) were measured by radioimmunoassay. Expression of oncogene c-fos mRNA was analyzed by means of in situ hybridization. The myocardial collagen concentration (MCC) was measured by biochemical method. The myocardial tissue structure was observed under the microscope ,and the myocardial fiber diamension (MFD) was measured with micrometer. Objective To evaluate the mammographic characteristics of primary lymphoma of the breast and to correlate the imaging features with the histopathologic findings.Methods We retrospectively reviewed records in 27 patients with histologically proven primary malignant lymphoma of the breast.Mmammography was performed before surgery in 14 cases.The clinical, pathologic, and imaging features were retrospectively reviewed and correlated in these 14 patients.All patients were female, with the mean age of 41.5 years (range 28-56).The lesion was in the right breast in 7 patients, the left in 6, and bilateral in 1.Results Histology revealed 13 Non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) and 1 Hodgkin lymphoma (HL).In primary lymphoma, mammography revealed a unilateral solitary mass in 9 cases, unilateral multiple masses in 2 cases, bilateral multiple masses in 1 case, and unilateral diffusely increased opacity with skin thickening in 2 cases.The diameter of the masses ranged from 0.7 cm to 5.0 cm (mean 2.6 cm). Of the total 18 masses, the margins of the masses were well defined in 13, and partially defined in 5.Neither calcifications nor spiculations nor adjacent skin retraction were seen.Of the 13 NHL, histologic examination showed diffuse NHL in 12 cases and follicular NHL in 1.No mammographic features were identified that could helped distinguish follicular from diffuse NHL.Conclusion Primary lymphoma of the breast usually presents with clinical and mammographic findings mimicking a carcinoma or benign tumor.Although the clinical and imaging characteristics may suggest the possibility of breast NHL, none of the findings are pathognomonic.The final diagnosis depends on histopathology.

Objective: To evaluate the quality of life,peripheral blood and immune function of patients with malignant tumors treated by PSP.Methods: We searched MEDLINE,Pubmed and other databases by computer.We assessed the identified studies in order to include high quality studies.Results:A total of 7 into the study,701 cases of patients.Meta analysis showed that polysacchariopeptide treatment for patients with certain malignant tumors after chemotherapy might improve the quality of life.Polysacchariopeptide group combined with chemotherapy drugs might improve the white blood cells,hemoglobin,platelet compared to chemotherapy drugs or batyl alcohol drugs combined with chemotherapy.Polysacchariopeptide drug combined with chemotherapy may increase the CD_3~+ ,CD_4~+ ,CD_8~+ and CD_4~+/CD_8~+ ratio,and the NK cells was no significant difference.Conclusion:PSP combined with chemotherapy to treat malignant tumors has a certain effect.However,most of trials included in the review may be of low quality,therefore,it may be neccessity to conduct multi-center randomized-controlled trials of high quality.

Objective To investigate the operative technique and efficacy of PPH for severe hemorrhoids. Methods The clinical data of 153 cases of severe hemorrhoids treated by PPH, individualized according to size and nature of the piles, concomitant morbidities and conditions at the dentate line, and analysis of the relevance between operative technique and clinical efficacy as well as postoperative complications, were revieuled retropectively. Results All of the prolapsed tissue retracted immediately. Bleeding at the anastomotic site occurred in 49 cases, pulsatile bleeding in 12 cases, all of which were sutured under direct vision with cessation of bleeding. The width of excised-tissue was 2.1~4.6cm(average 3.5cm). The main symptoms of patients on the 1st post-operation day were abdominal distention caused by dysuria, pain, and tenesmus and burning sensation. At followup of 1-40 months, there was no stenosis of stoma, anal incontinence or recurrence of prolapse. After operation, a very satistactory result was achieved in 87 cases, satisfactory in 63 cases and mostly satisfactory in 3 cases. Conclusions In order to achieve ideal results with good retraction of tissues, avoidance of complications and improve patient satisfactory rate, the use of PPH for severe hemorrhords must be individualized and technical skill during operation are important.
