3.Analysis of the quality of life of 230 very low birth weight infants followed up to 6 months of corrected age
Journal of Clinical Pediatrics 2016;34(3):176-180
Objective To analyze the short term prognosis of very low birth weight (VLBW) infants. Methods The clinical data of VLBW infants who were hospitalized from December 2013 to December 2014 and followed up to 6 months of corrected age were retrospectively analyzed. Results A total of 230 VLBW infants were enrolled. Thirty infants (13.0%) died during hospitalization, 40 infants (17.4%) were given up the treatment, 60 infants (26.1%) were improved at discharge, and 100 infants (43.4%) were cured at discharge. In the 30 cases of death, causes of death were mainly neonatal respiratory distress syndrome (18 cases), pulmonary hemorrhage (5 cases), and sepsis (3 cases). In the 200 survived infants at discharge, at 6 months of corrected age of follow-up, 13 infants (6.5%) were lost to follow-up, and 54 infants (27.0%) died, among whom 40 infants died because of giving up therapeutic intervention due to economic factor or discharges without permission. At 1, 3, 6 month of follow-up, the length and weight of VLBW infants were gradually approaching normal, and, however, at 6 months of corrected age, the length and weight of VLBW infants were still obviously below the children’s growth standard. The length of VLBW infants was more deeply below the growth standard than the weight. In 109 infants who had fundus ophthalmoscope, 21 cases had retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) I, and 7 cases had ROP II. In 98 infants who had the hearing screening test, 5 cases failed in one ear and 11 cases failed in both ears. In 95 infants who had the head magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examination, 10 cases had intracranial hemorrhage and 9 cases had premature brain injury. In 49 infants who completed the neonatal behavioral neurological assessment (NBNA) at corrected age of 42 weeks, the scores were all lower than 35. In 36 infants who were assessed by Gesell developmental scale at the 3 months of corrected age, 11 cases had mild developmental delay and 2 cases had moderate developmental delay. In 24 infants who were assessed at the 6 months corrected age, only 2 cases had mild developmental delay. VLBW infants had a rapid progress in social contact, social behavior, and gross motor movement. Conclusions Economic, neonatal respiratory distress syndrome, pulmonary hemorrhage, and sepsis are pivotal factors for the survival and quality of life of VLBW infants. The surviving VLBW infants have catch-up growth and development.

Objective To investigate effect of different anesthesia on cesarean section perioperative coagula-tion function and D -dimer,to provide a reference for clinical treatment. Methods 120 cases of cesarean section patients were selected, according to the anesthesia they were divided into observation group and control group.Obser-vation group (70 cases) used combined spinal epidural anesthesia, the control group(50 cases) used epidural anes-thesia.The prothrombin time (PT),activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT),thrombin time (TT),fiber clinical indicators fibrinogen (Fbg),DD,analgesia and its complications were compared between the two groups. Results Before surgery,PT,APTT,TT,Fbg had no statistically significant differences between the two groups (P >0.05).6h, 24h after operation, PT,APTT,TT of the observation group were (13.23 ±1.86) s,(31.18 ±5.94) s,(15.52 ± 2.55)s;(12.85 ±1.94)s,(29.74 ±5.52)s,(14.68 ±3.15)s,which were lower than the control group, the differ-ences were statistically significant (t =3.294,4.546,4.143,3.656,3.435,3.115,all P <0.05).6h after operation, Fbg of the observation group was (3.17 ±0.48)g/L,which was lower than the control group, the difference was statis-tically significant (t =3.656,P <0.05);D -D of the observation group before surgery, immediately after surgery,24h after surgery were (0.28 ±0.04)mg/L,0.04mg/L,(0.33 ±0.07)mg/L,(0.33 ±0.07)mg/L,compared with the control group had no statistically significant differences (P >0.05).In the observation group, the incidence rates of pain level 2,3 were 41.43%,30.00%,compared to the control group showed no significant difference (P >0.05). Deep vein thrombosis was not found in the observation group, the control group confirmed one case of femoral vein thrombosis, the incidence of venous thrombosis in the two groups showed no significant difference ( P >0.05). Conclusion Combined spinal epidural anesthesia, epidural anesthesia can both prevent cesarean section patients from perioperative hypercoagulable state, reduce the incidence of thrombotic complications, epidural anesthesia is the preferred method.

DOTA and its derivatives are most widely uscd novel bifunctional chelators. They have not only mature synthesis route, but also good coordination and chelating ability. Therefore,DOTA metal complexes of DOTA-peptide conjugates are increasingly used as MRI contrast agents, radionuclide targeted imaging agents and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals in the biomedical field. This review covers the bifunctional derivatives of DOTA,the synthesis of DOTA-peptide conjugates, and the applications of DOTA-peptide conjugate metal complexes.

Chinese Archives of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery 2006;0(03):-
OBJECTIVE To discuss the gentamycin-induced ototoxity and mechanism on cochlear outer hair cells. METHODS All the guinea pigs were randomly divided into 3 groups. Gentamycin, gentimycin plus furosemide and normal saline were intraperitoneally injected for 6 days respectively. The amplititude of distortion product otoacoustic emissions (DPOAE)urface prepration of cochlear basilar membrane, hair cells’ apoptosis and expression of caspase-3 after injection were analyzed. RESULTS Reduction of the DPOAE amplitude, hair cell damage, apoptosis and Caspase-3 expression were observed in group injected with gentamycin as well as in group injected with gentamycin plus furosemide. CONCLUSION Gentamycin should induce hair cell damage in the cochlea of guinea pigs and Caspase-3 plays an important role in the process of hair cell apoptosis.
