1.Hypertension in patients with polycystic kidney disease in adults in Hue Central hospital
Journal of Vietnamese Medicine 1999;232(1):10-12
We study hypertension in the patients with polycystic kidney disease, who hospitalized in Hue Central hospital from 1990 to 1997. Patients with hypertension were found in 48.1% cases. Hypertension involves in either systolic or diastolic pressure. Treatment with nifedipin had an excellent result in most of these cases

2.Application of left ventricular myocardial indicator in the diagnosis
Journal of Practical Medicine 2002;435(11):42-44
The number of people identified as having hypertension continues to increase and most of them have left ventricular hypertrophy - an earlies complication and also being a risk factor of heart disease. In clinical practise in Cardiovascular Department, Hue Central hospital, until now, diagnosis LVH depends on ECG so it miss many cases as having a real LVH. This is the first time, we use echocardiography to diagnose LVH in patients with hypertension by using LVMI. In 56 cases of hypertension we found a larger number of LVH by using LVMI than by ECG (41 cases V¬s 22 cases - p<0.01) This is an method in diagnosis LVH

4.Study on osteoporosis in the patients of later stage chronic renal failure treated by QUS-2 machine
Journal of Practical Medicine 2004;490(10):43-45
22 patients with ending stage of renal deficiency underwent artificial hemo-dialysis at using QU5-2 machine at Hue Central Hospital. 63,6% had got bone dysplasia. Osteoporosis and high imized calcium concentration of bood calcium had got high possibility of osteodysplasia. Therefore, it was recommended to have the disturbance of calcium-phorus further exploration on balance exploration of parathyroid fland for treating and preventing the conditions at ending stage of renal deficiency.

5.Study on calcium, blood phosphorus and hormone concentration of PTH in patients with chronic renal failure at CHU Rennes - France
Journal of Practical Medicine 2004;494(11):25-26
By study calcium - phosphorus bilan and concentration of PTH in 173 patients with chronic renal failure in different stages showed that: Hyperphosphoremia is very common and this is an important symptom of disorders calcium - phosphorus bilan. This occurs from stage II of CRF (moderate renal failure) and becomes severe in ESRD. Concentration of PTH is really high in ESRD but it's also elevated in stages II and IIIa. The rate of elevated - PTH is 48.6% for all of studied patients.

6.Study on parathyroid gland function in chronic renal failure patients at stage 4 without cycle dialysis
Journal of Practical Medicine 2005;0(12):37-39
Studying rate of getting parathyroid gland function disorder and looking relations between parathyroid gland function and blood Calci, phosphorus level in 37 patients with chronic renal failure at stage 4 at Kidney Department in Hue National hospital. Method: interruption. The result showed that: 59,5% patients have PTHi uper 200pg/ml suggesting a secondary hyperoarathyroidism. No patient has adynamic bone disease. There is an inverse-proportional correlation between phosphatemia and PTH

As authorities braced for the arrival of the Omicron variant of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), infrastructure investments and government directives prompted action in central Viet Nam to establish capacity for genomic surveillance sequencing. From 17 November 2021 to 7 January 2022, the Pasteur Institute in Nha Trang sequenced 162 specimens from 98 150 confirmed SARS-CoV-2 cases in the region collected from 8 November to 31 December 2021. Of these, all 127 domestic cases were identified as the B.1.617.2 (Delta) variant, whereas 92% (32/35) of imported cases were identified as the B.1.1.529 (Omicron) variant, all among international flight passengers. Patients were successfully isolated, enabling health-care workers to prepare for additional cases. Most (78%) of the 32 Omicron cases were fully vaccinated, suggesting continued importance of public health and social measures to control the spread of new variants.
