To improve the efficiency of medical research resource distribution in Beijing,based on the analysis of the existing problems we discussed the new model of resource integration.The model includes establishing all information-sharing platform and two operation modes of research project.By using this model it would be assured to achieve the best allocation efficiency and maximizing profits for Beijing medical research resources.

Objective To analyze the factors which influence the present nursing management ability in the alliance and to provide theoretical evidences and methods to improve the management. Methods 120 nursing administrators from 7 hospitals in the alliance were selected in convenience sampling for the site survey with customized questionnaires on nursing management ability appraisal. Results The valid return rate of the questionnaires is 100%;the average score of all respondents is 82.84±10.10;the differences in nursing management between the leading hospital and its members are statistically significant (P <0.05)while the differences among the members are not.Conclusion The leading hospitals play a very important role in improving the nursing management ability and administration in the alliance,which should integrate and leverage leadership roles to develop high quality nursing management among the hospitals in the alliance.

In this paper the species of ethnic medicinal plants Orobanche, Cistanche and Boschniakia, and their ethnopharmaceutical uses were comprehensively summarized by field investigation, systematical data analysis and comparison of relevant specimen and references. The results showed that six plants belonging to Orobanche were used as seven kinds of ethnic medicinal plants, two plants attributing Boschniakia were used as ten kinds of ethnic medicinal plants, two plants of Cistanche were used as three ethnic medicinal plants. The same plant was often used as different ethnic medicine in varied ethnic minorities. The effects of the ethnic medicines included yang-tonifying, hemostasis and analgesic activities. Hence, it is necessary to develop the rich plant resource of Orobanche for alleviation of Cistanche resources shortage.

Objective To investigate the effect of enteral nutrition support on prognosis in patients with severe acute stroke.Methods Ninety-eight cases of severe acute stroke were divided into nutrition supported group(50 cases) and control group(48 cases) randomly.All patients were treated by conventional therapy.Nutrition supported group received high energy nutrition diet and control group received common liquid diet by nasal feeding.The levels of hemoglobin,serum albumin,neurologic impairment score (NIHSS)and the incidence rates of complications were assessed at the 1st,10 th and 21st day after admission.Results Hemoglobin was (122.5 ± 2.4),(106.4 ± 2.8) g/L and serum albumin was (36.5 ± 4.7),(34.2 ± 5.1) g/L at the 21st day after admission in nutrition supported group and control group,and there was significant difference between two groups (P < 0.05).The complication rate in control group was higher than that in nutrition supported group (P< 0.05).NIHSS score was(8.45 ± 3.02) scores in nutrition supported group and (10.24 ± 2.57)scores in control group at the 21st day after admission,and there was significant difference between two groups (P <0.05).Conclusion Early enteral nutrition support can significantly improve nutritional status and decrease the incidence rates of complications in patients with severe acute stroke,and it is helpful for clinical prognosis.

Objective To investigate the expressions and significance of transforming growth factor-beta 1(TGF?1) and its typeⅡ receptor(TGF?RⅡ) in experimental rat ascending aortic aneurysm of rat model.Methods The rat ascending aortic aneurysm models were made by banding ascending aorta of young Wistar rats.The ascending aortas were taken 4 months after operation.Immunohistochemistry staining and Western blotting were used to investigate the expressions of TGF?1 and TGF?RⅡ.Result Immunohistochemistry staining results showed that TGF?1 expressed in all layers of the aortic aneurysm and the control.TGF?RⅡ was extensively located in the hyperplastic intima and tunica media smooth muscle cells in the aortic aneurysm,while there was only a little positive staining in the control group.Western blotting results indicated that the expression levels of TGF?1 and TGF?RⅡ in the aortic aneurysm were stronger than the control,P

Objective To investigate the concentration change of indoxyl sulfate (IS) in blood and the renal expression of renal fibrosis-related factors (transforming growth factor-beta 1, TGF-β1;fibronectin, FN) after administration of mutagenic lactobacilli by oral.Methods A total of 60 male Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats aged 6 weeks was divided randomly into 3 groups.The normal control group (Sham group, n =20) received Sham operation of just incision of skin without kidney removed.The other two groups of rats were renal failure models selected from survivals of the other 40 rats who received real operation with 5/6 of kidney removed.Finally, 35 survived renal-failure rats were divided randomly into 2 groups : pathological control group(Model group, n =17) who were administrated of 2ml sterile saline solution once a day by gavage, and experimental group (lactobacillus bulgaricus (LB) group, n =18) who were administrated of 2 ml mutagenic lactobacilli (1.5 × 108 cfu/ml) once a day by gavage.Eight weeks later, blood specimens were taken to test the concentration of IS with high performance liquid chromatography-fluorescence detection (HPLC-FLU), and urea and creatinine by automatic biochemical analyzer;moreover, the rats were killed to get kidney tissues for pathological examination.Results The levels of serum IS, urea, and creatinine were statistically significantly different between two groups (P ＜ 0.05).Both the levels of renal tubular damage and renal interstitial fibrosis were both lessen in the experimental group compared to the model group (P ＜0.05).TGF-β1 and FN expressions in renal tissues were significantly decreased (P ＜0.05).Conclusions Mutagenic lactobacilli not only reduces serum concentration of IS, urea and creatinine in renal failure rats but lowers the expressions of TGF-β1 and FN in renal tissues.

Objective To observe the effects of S100A4 siRNA on the expression of serum TNF‐α,IL‐1βand VEGF in adjuvant arthritis rats .Methods Adjuvant arthritis rat models were established and were randomly divided into model group and interfere group .On Day 11 ,rats in interfere group were injected with S100A4 siRNA fragment in articular cavity .Arthritis index (AI) chan‐ges and pathological changes of ankle joint were observed .The levels of serum TNF‐α and IL‐1β ,VEGF were detected by ELISA . Results Compared with that of model group ,the levels of serum TNF‐ α ,IL‐1β and VEGF were reduced significantly in interfere group (P< 0 .05) ;variances of AI and pathological scores in interfere group were diminished significantly (P< 0 .05) .Conclusion Inhibition of the expression of S100A4 gene can significantly reduce the expression of inflammatory factor TNF‐α ,IL‐1 β and angio‐genesis factor VEGF ,and improve the pathological injury of synovial membrane .

Objective To observe the effect of vitamin A(VitA) on T help 17(Th17) and regulatory T cells (Treg) in the peripheral blood in children with asthma and their dose effect relationship,and to investigate the immunoregulation mechanism of VitA.Methods Twenty children with asthma (asthma group) and 16 healthy children (healthy control group) were selected.Peripheral blood mononuclear cells(PBMC) were isolated from venous blood by density gradient centrifugation in the aseptic condition.Different concentrations of VitA [0.0μmol/L (blank control),0.5μmol/L,1.0μmol/L,2.0μmol/L] were added into the cultures in the asthma group.The healthy control group were not interfered with VitA.The supernatant was collected after 72 h.The levels of interleukin 17 (IL-17),interleukin 10(IL-10) and transforming growth factor-β1 (TGF-β1) in the supernatant were determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.Results (1) IL-17 levels produced by PBMC in the asthma group were significantly higher than those in the healthy control group [(960.53±75.59) ng/L vs (425.07±70.71) ng/L,P＜0.01],and the levels of IL-10 and TGF-β1 were significantly lower than those in the healthy control group [(53.13±6.94)ng/L vs (84.41±6.02) ng/L,(304.51±51.52) ng/L vs (489.45±73.68) ng/L,all P＜0.01].(2) IL-17 levels produced by PBMC in the 0.5μmol/L,1.0μmol/L and 2.0μmol/L VitA concentration of the asthma group [(588.95±44.18)ng/L,(573.13±27.43) ng/L,(686.71±38.98) ng/L] were significantly lower than those in the blank control group[(960.53±75.59) ng/L,all P＜0.01],and IL-17 levels in the 2.0 μmol/L VitA concentration were significantly higher than those in 0.5μmol/L and 1.0μmol/L concentration groop (P＜0.01).(3) IL-10 levels produced by PBMC in the 0.5μmol/L,1.0μmol/L and 2.0μmol/L VitA concentration of the asthma group [(105.35±10.79) ng/L,(111.21±16.11) ng/L,(81.09±6.05) ng/L] were significantly higher than those in the blank control group[(53.13±6.94) ng/L,all P＜0.01],TGF-β1 levels produced by PBMC in the 0.5μmol/L,1.0μmol/L and 2.0μmol/L VitA concentration of the asthma group[(933.01±73.98) ng/L,(1223.31±105.99)ng/L,(776.98±145.44) ng/L] were significantly higher than that in blank control group[(304.51±51.52) ng/L,all P＜0.01],and the levels of IL-10 and TGF-β1 in the 0.5 μmol/L and 1.0μmol/L concentration group were significantly higher than those in the 2.0μmol/L concentration group(all P＜0.01).The level of TGF-β1 in the 1.0μmol/L concentration group were significantly higher than that in the 0.5μmol/L concentration group (P＜0.01).Conclusions The function of Th17 in children with asthma during asthma attack was enhanced,and the function of Treg cells was reduced.The balance disorder of the functions of Th17 and Treg cells occurred.VitA can reduce the function of Th17 in peripheral blood,and enhance the activity of Treg cells in the children with asthma.The physiological level of VitA has the best effect,if high VitA concentration is high its effect is significantly decreased.

Objective To investigate the traditional Chinese medicine ( TCM) syndromes of rheumatoid arthritis ( RA) by studying the Chinese medical patterns,and analyze the correlations of different indicators and related syndromes. Methods The questionnaires were designed according to clinical epidemiological theories. The data were collected and analyzed by multivariate statistical methods. Results The TCM symptoms of the 401 cases of RA were concluded into 3 common factors,that is,cold,heat and deficient. Their syndromes were sub-classified as 6 groups: cold syndrome,heat syndrome,deficiency,cold heat complex,deficient cold and asthenic fever.
