Estrogen and progesteron receptor status of 600 cases of breast carcinoma treated in Hochiminh City Cancer Center were studied by immunohistochemical staining technique. 66.8% of cases were positive for estrogen and/or progesteron. The expression of estrogen and progesteron correlated with groups of age, menopausal status and histological grades. The rate of ER(+) PR(+) was the highest in the group of premenopausal, age between 36-49 and low histological grade patients
