Korean Journal of Dermatology 2008;46(5):707-709
Milia en plaque is designated as an atypical subtype of milia which is characterized by a group of milia on an erythematous base. It usually arises spontaneously in predisposed persons without any apparent causative factor and commonly occurs on the periauricular area. Histopathologic finding is consistent with milia and treatment is not established. We report a case of milia en plaque produced by physical stress in the right arm.

Ancient schwannoma is a variant of schwannoma and is characterized slowly growing tumor with degenerative change. And it is reported that schwannoma is relatively rare in extensor area. As a rare cause of solitary ancient schwannoma in extensor area of upper arm, we report it.

7.Study on ralationship between muscle strain and arm positions
Journal of Preventive Medicine 1999;9(2):34-38
Study was conducted in laboratory condition for investagating the relationship between muscle strain and arm positions. Rerults showed that: the bio-potential of brachioradialis, deltoid and trapezius muscles were significant higher when the arms were elevated at haft-arm length. The trapezius had highest bio-potential than the other left. The subjective shoulder pain occurred after 15-17 mimutes of experiment. When was higher hio-potential, that the muscle pain was more obvious. The accumulation of pain can be considered as reason of that called Neck-Shoulder Disorders.

Safety and Health at Work 2015;6(3):206-210
BACKGROUND: Fatigue has a strong impact on workers' performance and safety, but expedient methods for assessing fatigue on the job are not yet available. Studies discuss posturography as an indicator of fatigue, but further evidence for its use in the workplace is needed. The purpose of the study is to examine whether posturography is a suitable indicator of fatigue in clerical workers. METHODS: Thirty-six employees (O 34.8 years, standard deviation = 12.5) participated in postural tasks (eyes open, eyes closed, arm swinging, and dual task) in the morning and afternoon. Position of their center of pressure (COP) was registered using a Nintendo Wii Balance Board and commercial software. From registered COP time series, we calculated the following parameters: path length (mm), velocity (mm/s), anterior-posterior variance (mm), mediolateral variance (mm), and confidence area (mm2). These parameters were reduced to two orthogonal factors in a factor analysis with varimax rotation. RESULTS: Statistical analysis of the first factor (path length and velocity) showed a significant effect of time of day: COP moved along a shorter path at a lower velocity in the afternoon compared with that in the morning. There also was a significant effect of task, but no significant interaction. CONCLUSION: Data suggest that postural stability of clerical workers was comparable in the morning and afternoon, but COP movement was greater in the morning. Within the framework of dynamic systems theory, this could indicate that the postural system explored the state space in more detail, and thus was more ready to respond to unexpected perturbations in the morning.

9.Anatomy and Classification of Anorectal Malformation.
Journal of the Korean Association of Pediatric Surgeons 2006;12(1):91-98
Artificial classification of anorectal malformation (ARM) is difficult because it is a spectrum of embryologic maldevelopment. However, the establishment of an ideal classification of ARM should be established in order to choose the adequate treatment and evaluate the prognosis. The classification system of ARM has followed the development of medicine, and the pediatric surgeons, who manage the ARM, should understand the change of this classification system.
