Ancient schwannoma is a variant of schwannoma and is characterized slowly growing tumor with degenerative change. And it is reported that schwannoma is relatively rare in extensor area. As a rare cause of solitary ancient schwannoma in extensor area of upper arm, we report it.

Korean Journal of Dermatology 2008;46(5):707-709
Milia en plaque is designated as an atypical subtype of milia which is characterized by a group of milia on an erythematous base. It usually arises spontaneously in predisposed persons without any apparent causative factor and commonly occurs on the periauricular area. Histopathologic finding is consistent with milia and treatment is not established. We report a case of milia en plaque produced by physical stress in the right arm.

7.Study on ralationship between muscle strain and arm positions
Journal of Preventive Medicine 1999;9(2):34-38
Study was conducted in laboratory condition for investagating the relationship between muscle strain and arm positions. Rerults showed that: the bio-potential of brachioradialis, deltoid and trapezius muscles were significant higher when the arms were elevated at haft-arm length. The trapezius had highest bio-potential than the other left. The subjective shoulder pain occurred after 15-17 mimutes of experiment. When was higher hio-potential, that the muscle pain was more obvious. The accumulation of pain can be considered as reason of that called Neck-Shoulder Disorders.

Asian Spine Journal 2013;7(3):242-247
Gorham's disease is a rare disorder characterized by clinical and radiological disappearance of bone by proliferation of non-neoplastic vascular tissue. The disease was first reported by Jackson in 1838 in a boneless arm. The disease was then described in detail in 1955 by Gorham and Stout. Since then, about 200 cases have been reported in the literature, with only about 28 cases involving the spine. We report 2 cases of Gorham's disease involving the spine and review related literature to gain more understanding about this rare disease.

9.A STUDY ON THE RETENTIVE FORCE OF CIRCUMFERENTIAL CLASP.
The Journal of Korean Academy of Prosthodontics 1998;36(5):662-682
The purpose of this study was to compare the retentive force of cast half round circumferential clasps, cast round circumferential clasps and wrought wire clasps on three different depths of undercut(10G,20G,30G), and to determine the proper amount of undercut for cast round circumferential clasp. Three different lower second premolar crowns were cast and each of clasp was made. Each of clasp affixed to the different types of clasp. Their retentive forces were measured with universal testing machine. The results were as follows: 1. When the depth of undercut was same, the greatest retentive force was exerted by cast half round circumferential clasp, followed by cast round - 33 - circumferential clasp and wrought wire clasp. 2. The degree of variation amount of retentive force according to depth of undercut was greatest for cast round circumferential clasp. 3. Not only elastic deformation but also permanent deformation of the retentive arm was observed after insertion and removal of the clasp. The results of this study show that the retentive force of cast round circumferential clasp falls between those of cast half round circumferential clasp and wrought wire clasp, and suggest that a 20G undercut is suitable for ensuring an appropriate degree of the retentive force.

Ho Chung KIM ; Dal Soo KIM ; Hun Joo KIM ; Dong Hyun PARK
Journal of Korean Neurosurgical Society 1980;9(2):431-434
A case of large sized postraumatic intracerebral hematoma was found in left external capsular area. This hematoma was managed by mannitolization and steroid therapy without surgical intervention and followed up by a serial interval changes in computed tomography till the 6th week after trauma when the hematoma was successfully resorbed and neurological status was markedly improved except mild monoparesis involving right arm.
