Developmental Dysplasia of the Hip (DDH) is a major health problem which can lead to lifelong handicapped condition of individuals if early diagnosis is missed. Cost for treatment, surgery and rehabilitation of these cases is much higher than that for prevention. According to Graf, hip ultrasound screening method is simple, reproducible, innocuous and can be performed by well- trained neonatologists. The purpose of this study is to determine prevalence and types of hip dysplasia by Graf standard screening method. A prospective study was carried out. Hip ultrasound screening using Graf method was performed by neonatologists at the Amgalan of maternity of the Capital city from January 2013 to March 2015.Totally 6154 neonates were eligible for the study and 50.9% of them were male, 93.27% term and 6.72% preterm, in 8.53% of babies, type IIa (physiological retardation of ossification)was found. Dysplasia or dislocation of hips (type III and IV) was found in 5 (0.08%) neonates. Babies diagnosed with type I on both hips were discharged. Type IIa cases were stopped being swaddled and reassessed after 4 weeks. Cases with type III and IV cases were all treated with abduction treatment or Tubinger. This study is an ongoing project. The implementation of the hip ultrasound screening according to Graf is feasible and can be performed by well-trained neonalogists in Amgalan of maternity of the Capital city.

Recent years non communicable disease moribidity isincreasing due to broken bone caused by bone rarity and accident. National Trauma Orthopedic Research Center (2009) survey showed that in recent years the number of inpatients broken bone is 30.8% and 60.5% of this people concern tibial fracture. Recovery after bone rarity and bone breakage is important. To aid faster recovery, traditional medicine often used Calcite and Rhodiola rosea. L to cure breakage. It attracts attention that Natural calcite consistsof 10 minerals and almost 64% of calcum. In our study, we used masculine calcite from Bayankhongor aimag “ Tsagaanagui”, Altpant which made from Rhodiola rosea basis and 30 rabbits from “Introduction of corporation of traditional medical science, technology” laboratory. We observed rabbits at 2nd, 14th, 28h, 49th, 60thdays controlled with 2 angle projection using Hitachi-TU 51 X ray machine. Also, at the 7th, 28th, 60thdays samples were taken for histopathology analysis. As a result, control group had 10 degree turn as compared to calcite treated group. However both group rabbits were healing fine. In histological analyses callus and endost were fine. Osteoblast structure is fine, osteocite is placed in lacun. Volkmann cannal is seen good.

In recent years medicine faces growing number of bone fractures
caused by accident
injuries and osteoporosis, which became a big problem. Today in
medicine praxis Calcium supplements is widely used, however Lai B,
Cervell MJ’s research shows that using calcium during long time
conversely bad for stomach. We chose for our research work Calcite
known in traditional medicine as bone nutrition contains up to 67% of
calcium, attract our attention. Otherwise, elixir subdued calcite also
has a treatment action for gastric ulcer and protects stomach.
Therefore we made a fracture in a Kriscner wire using Bannarens
Einhorn method and at the early stage of fracture healing (2nd and
4th week) started observing the effect of elixir subdued calcite using
radiography analyses. At the result, our research showed that callus
of the group of rats used elixir subdued calcite are
statisticalsignificance more fast than the group which used calcium
supplement. However compared to the group used standard rat chow
ad libitum, the group which used calcite, curing effect statistically
accelerated in 28 days, while in 14 days there were no statistical
significant of difference. Finally, result shows that compared to other
groups elixir subdued calcite is accelerating the curing effect, but for
supervising later or posterior bone healing process there is a
requirement of using additional analysis methods.

BACKGROUND. In the worldwide every 40 seconds one person takes their life, annually 1
million people die on Earth by the means of suicide. Regardless of gender it is one of the
main 3 causes of death in the population aged between 15-29. There have a tendency
to increase of suicide rates with each passing year in the Mongolia. Therefore, our study
goal is to determine the utilized methods and to identify some of the factors influencing
the escalation of this phenomenon. The data and materials were gathered by quantitative
research method from the post-mortem examination reports provided from the
central archive of National Institute of Forensic Science according to the descriptive
research design.
The fact that the bulk of the increasing suicide cases might be attributed to the unemployed
and working-age men without any chronic illnesses suggests correlation with
gender and socio-economic status.

Journal of Oriental Medicine 2012;3(2):21-21
Jonsh-5 is composed of 5 components including calcite, Cardius
crispus, Forsythia suspense, Terminalia Chebula, and Inula
helenium.
Aim of this study is to examine the effect of traditional drug
Jonsh-5 on experimental femur fracture in rats. Jonsh-5 was
given to rats for 28 days. Calcium D3-Nycomed (2.5 g/kg) was
used for comparison. 2, 14, and 28 days after fracture, serum
levels of alkaline phosphatase were determined and fracture
healing processes were evaluated by X-ray.
Serum level of alkaline phosphatase was 197 u/l before fracture.
After 7 days of fracture, alkaline phosphatase level was
significantly increased by Jonsh-5 (728 u/l) and there were no
statistical differences observed in rats with no treatment (control)
and Calcium D3-Nycomed-treated animals. Similar patterns
were observed 14 and 21 days after fracture.
X-ray images showed that healing process of the bone was
significantly increased by Jonsh-5 compare to control and
Calcium D3-Nycomed treatment.
Jonsh-5 may promote bone healing in rat model of fracture.

Background:
Starting in 2019, the project "To compile and publish 108 volumes of traditional medicine, to protect the heritage of the ancient medical sources, and to open up its commercial opportunities for use" has been implemented.
As a result of this project, 50 volumes of books were published, including books created by Mongolian ancient doctors and maarambas, translated medical books from Chinese, Manchu, and Tibetan, as well as some books written by traditional medicine researchers and scientists between 1990-2020, have been published and made available to the public. During the creation of 108 volumes of traditional medicine, dozens of ancient medical scriptures were newly discovered. Among them, we have found medicinal books written by Indian and Tibetan scholars and monks from the 8th and 13th centuries. One of them is The Third Karmapa, Rangjung Dorje's sutra, "The Ocean of Medicinal Names." Therefore, it is imperative that we first study the biography and works of The Third Karmapa, Rangjung Dorje.
Purpose:
Clarifying the biography and works of The Third Karmapa, Rangjung Dorje, the author of the book
"The Ocean of Medicinal Names".
Research methods:
Research of source documents (ancient sources), hermeneulic approach, analysis, and synthesis methods were used.
Conclusion
1. The Third Karmapa, Rangjung Dorje, who lived between 1284 and 1339, was a prominent
Tibetan religious and cultural figure, a famous author of many books who contributed to strengthening the foreign relations between Mongolia and Tibet and increasing the influence of the Garmaa Gaajud tradition in Yuan Dynasty.
2. Although Karmapa. Rangjung Dorje lived at the end of the 13th century and the first half of the 14th century, he was a well-known, active and creative monk. Therefore, his image has been left in many paintings and cast as God's image. In particular, he wrote an interesting book about medicinal raw materials called "The Ocean of Medicinal Names," which has only a few pages but briefly contains the names and potencies of 768 medicinal raw materials.
