Chinese Journal of Biologicals 2023;36(2):224-
The diagnosis and treatment of colon cancer has always been a difficult problem in the medical field. In recent years, there have been more and more researches on differential proteins in colon cancer. It has become a new trend to find differential proteins in cancer tissues by proteomic technology and study their functions and roles in cancer, which was so as to used in cancer diagnosis and treatment. We have found two differential proteins ATP-binding cassette sub-family G member 2(ABCG2)and protein disulfide-isomerase A2(PDIA2)in colon cancer by proteomic technology before, and this article reviews the expression and function of these two proteins in colon cancer.

Acta Medicinae Universitatis Scientiae et Technologiae Huazhong 2000;29(5):466-468
To study the relationship between serum Pre-S1 antigen and HBV DNA, serum Pre-S1 antigen and HBV DNA marker in 229 patients positive for HbsAg were detected by using ELISA method and compared. It was found that both Pre-S1 antigen and HbeAg were correlated with HBV DNA with the coefficient being 0. 9812 and could be used to reflect the existence or reproduction of HBV DNA well. Although there was statistical correlation between them, their clinical implication was not completely the same. Therefore, a conclusion was drawn that combined detection of Pre-S1 antigen, HBV and HBV DNA in the patients with different kinds of HBV infection was helpful to clinical diagnosis, therapeutic effect evaluation and prognosis judgement.
4.Anti-apoptosis Mechanism of Serum Containing Xin Mai Tong Decoction in Myocardial Cell Under Oxidative Stress
Traditional Chinese Drug Research & Clinical Pharmacology 1993;0(04):-
Objective To explore the anti-apoptosis mechanism of serum containing Xin Mai Tong decoction in myocardial cell under oxidative stress. Methods The neonate rat myocardial cell was cultivated and the model of myocardial cell apoptosis was induced with 400 ? mol/L H2O2.The cell viability was determined by MTT method, myocardial cell apoptosis was determined by TUNEL method, and the intra-cellular expression of HSP70,NF-? B and caspase-3 in myocardial cell was determined by immunocytochemistry. Results Administration of 400 ? mol/L H2O2 for 1 hour was harmless to myocardial cell, the expression of HSP70 being slightly increased. However, apoptosis was induced in myocardial cells at the 6 th hour after 400? mol/L H2O2 administration. The serum containing Xin Mai Tong significantly attenuated the decrease of cell viability and apoptosis which was induced by oxidative stress.Increased expression of HSP70 was induced by the serum containing Xin Mai Tong, and the activation of NF-? B and caspase-3 were significantly inhibited.Conclution The serum containing Xin Mai Tong decoction shows a significant inhibitory effect on apoptosis induced by H2O2,and the mechanism may be through increasing protein expression of HSP70,inhibiting the activation of NF-? B and decreasing the expression of caspase-3.

Abstract: A new selaginellin derivative named as selaginellin S (1) was isolated from the whole plants of Selaginella pulvinata (Hook. et Grev.) Maxim. (Selaginellaceae), together with a known one (selaginellin M, 2). Compounds 1 and 2 were separated and purified by silica gel and Sephadex LH-20 column chromatography. Their structures were determined on the basis of extensive spectroscopic analysis including IR, MS, 1D and 2D NMR experiments, as well as ECD calculations. Compound 1 is a key intermidiant in the biosynthesis pathway of selaginellins. Compound 2 is first reported in this plant.

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2013;(42):7455-7461
BACKGROUND:The biological substances fixed onto the implant surface, including specific proteins, enzymes, polypeptides, could promote the proliferation and differentiation of osteogenic cells in order to achieve a good osteogenic effect.
OBJECTIVE:To introduce the biological characteristics of the arginine-glycine-aspartic acid (RGD) peptides, cellbiological behavior and implant osseointegration in osteoporosis.
METHODS:Authors retrieved the relevant articles in PubMed database (January 1984 to January 2013), Wanfang database (January 2002 to December 2012) and CHKD database (January 2002 to December 2012) using the key words“RGD peptides, osteoporosis, bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells, osseointegration, osteoblast, induced differentiation”. Papers were included concerning the biological characteristics of RGD peptides, the biological behavior of cells and the bone-implant integration in osteoporosis.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Osseointegration on the surface between implant and bone tissue can be further improved by grafting biological y active substance. Bionics modification, to simulate the extracellular matrix environment in vivo, can promote celladhesion and growth, which is an effective way to improve osseointegration and is also an important direction of research in the field of tissue engineering recently. The future research is focused on designing specific and efficient polypeptides and simple and effective fixation methods.

Along with the application and development of the assisted reproductive technology in vitro fertilization and embryo transfer, the emergence of frozen embryos in the law, medicine, and ethics area are gradually increased.Two-child policy makes more older couples choose assisted reproductive technology, which will cause more disputes about frozen embryos. There is no unified conclusion of the legal status of human embryos, and there exists three main views of embryos namely property, person and intermediate state.Defined the legal status of frozen embryos as ethical substance, this paper analyzed the main position and possible legal and ethical issues involved in the disposal of frozen embryos through three typical cases.

Objective To investigate the efficacy of frontoparietal drill versus parietal drill in the burring hole and drainage for chronic subdural hematoma(CSDH),and provide an evidence for clinical application. Methods A total of 82 patients with CSDH from January 2013 to January 2016 in our hospital were randomly divided into observation group and control group. The observation group chose frontoparietal drill which located at the front 1/4 point at the axial view with the thickest hematoma.Control group chose parietal drill which nearby the parietal tuberodties at the axial view with the thickest hematoma. The postoperative residual hematoma volume, intracranial gas volume, recurrence rate, neurologic function and mental state between two groups were compared. Results The postoperative residual hematoma volume, intracranial gas volume, the recurrence rate and CSS were lower compared with the control group, the differences were significant(P<0.05).The MMSE score of observation group were higher that of the control group, the difference was significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The frontoparietal drill has a better effect to remove the hematoma and promotes neural functional recovery.

[Objective] To observe the influence of Xiaoyao Powder on the concentration of Ca2+ in hippocampal synaptosome of multi - stress model rats.[Methods] Wistar rats were randomly allocated to five groups: normal control (Group A) , model 1 (Group B), Xiaoyao Powder 1 (Group C), model 2 (Group D), and Xiaoyao Powder 2 (Group E) . All the rats except those of Group A were replicated to chronic multi-stress models. At the meantime, Groups C andE were given the decoction of Xiaoyao Powder, 1.06g each for 21 days and 42 days respectively. Groups A, B and D were administered by gavage the equal amount of normal saline. After the administration, the hippocampal homogenate was taken to detect the concentration of hippocampal synaptic Ca2+ by fluorimetry. [Results] Compared with Group A, the concentration of Ca2+ in hippocampal synaptosome of Groups B and C was increased, having significant difference ( P
