2.Erythrocyte antigen-antibody and immunoincompatibility of erythrocyte blood group systems
Journal of Medical and Pharmaceutical Information 1998;(1):11-13
The erythrocyte-antigen, basically is antigen of blood group systems, and usually has 2 parts: protein and lipid or glucid. The erythrocyte antigens usually exist along the life. However, they can be impaired when a person is aging or suffering from a disease. The erythrocyte antibodies are immunoglobulines in the plasma. Most of them are IgM, IgG and little with IgA. Currently, 23 erythrocyte blood group systems with more than 250 antigens have been found.

Allergy, Asthma & Immunology Research 2012;4(4):245-247
Immune complexes are found in the circulation of 30%-75% of patients with urticarial vasculitis and much evidence supports the role of these immune complexes in the pathogenesis of urticarial vasculitis. Plasmapheresis is effective for removing these immune complexes; however, there are few reports on the use of plasmapheresis in the treatment of urticarial vasculitis. We describe a case of "refractory" urticarial vasculitis in which the symptoms improved after plasmapheresis treatment. We suggest that plasmapheresis be considered as an option in patients with severe or treatment-resistant urticarial vasculitis.

5.Thrombocytopenia
Journal of Medical and Pharmaceutical Information 2003;10():5-8
Thrombocytopenia is resulted from many causes, and it could be decreased in quantity or quality of thrombocyte. Causes are: increased destruction due to immune causes and non-immune causes such as increased consumption or destruction of thrombocyte), decreased production of thrombocyte (due to decreased production or blocking of platelet, and infiltration of bone marrow), and disturbance of distribution of platelet. It isn’t difficult to diagnose thrombocytopenia but it’s complicated to find out the cause, so it must be cautions

Chinese Journal of Contemporary Pediatrics 2023;25(12):1287-1292
Immunoglobulin A vasculitis (IgAV), also known as Henoch-Schönlein purpura, has complex etiology and pathogenesis which have not been fully clarified. The latest research shows that SARS-CoV-2 and related vaccines, human papilloma vaccine, and certain biological agents can also induce IgAV. Most studies believe that the formation of galactose-deficient IgA1 (Gd-IgA1) and Gd-IgA1-containing immune complex plays a crucial role in the pathogenesis of IgAV. It is hypothesized that the pathogenesis of IgAV is associated with the binding of IgA1 to anti-endothelial cell antibodies. In addition, genetics also constitutes a major focus of IgAV research. This article reviews the new advances in the etiology of IgAV and summarizes the role of Gd-IgA1, Gd-IgA1-containing immune complex, anti-endothelial antibody, IgA1 conjugates, T lymphocyte immunity, and genetic factors in the pathogenesis of IgAV.
