Objective: To study the effect of free radical injury induced by Soman in rats and protection by Se/Zn. [WT5FZ]Methods: [WT5BZ]40 male rats were randomly divided into 4 groups, i.e., negative group, positive group, Se group and Zn group according to weights. The serum, cerebrum and liver VE content, nitrogen oxide synthase (NOS activity and T AOC (total antioxidative capacity) were determined. Results: The VE content and T AOC decreased markedly, and NOS activities increased significantly after Soman intoxication. The changes were less significant in Se/Zn supplemented group. Conclusion: The mechanism of free radical injury is indicated in Soman intoxication and Se/Zn supplementation has significant protection.

Objective To preliminarily evaluate the performance of glucose detention reagents with three kinds of different chro-mogens and to investigate their anti-interference performance according to NCCLS document. Methods According to the protocol EP10-A2 provided by the National Committee for Clinical Laboratory Standards(NCCLS),the samples with low, middle and high level of glucose were detected by the glucose reagent kits with 3 kinds of different chromogens. The bias, total imprecision,inter-cepts,slope rates, nonlinearities, carryover rate and drifts were calculated. The interference evaluation test was performed according to the document EP7-A2.Results The bias and total imprecision of three kinds of reagent kits were all within allowed ranges. No statistically significant differences were showed in intercepts, slope rates, nonlinearities, carryover rate and drifts.1450 turbidity chyle,5 g/L hematoglobin and 0.03 g/L vitamin C did not interfere with the assay of three kinds of glucose reagent kits with differ-ent chromogens.342 μmol/L free bilirubin,342 μmol/L conjugated bilirubin did not interfere with the detection of reagent with MAOS.Conclusion The glucose detention reagents with three different chromogens have good accuracy and precision, and various performance indexes all conform to the clinical application requirements, reagent with chromogen MAOS is better than other chro-mogenic reagents in the anti-interference performance.

Objective To observe the effect of short wave diathermy on the functioning of dendritic cells ( DCs) derived from the spleens of hepatitis B virus ( HBV) transgenic mice. Methods HBV transgenic mice were treated with short wave diathermy for 10 days. Dendritic cells were then separated from their spleens and incubated with granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor ( GM-CSF) and interleukin-4 ( IL-4 ). The phenotypes of the DCs were assayed by flow cytometry ( FCM) ,IL-12 released by the DCs and IL-10 and IFN-? produced by the T cells in a mixed lymphocyte reaction( MLR) were measured using ELISA. Results Short wave diathermy could enhance the DCs' phenotype expression, increase IL-12 levels ( P

OBJECTIVETo observe the effect of pubic fractures reducted and fixed thorough the punctiform incision approach.
METHODSFrom 2002 to 2005, 10 cases with 18 fractures of pubis rami (8 male and 2 female) were treated with inserting construction plate by the punctiform incision approach. The average age of these patients was 37.2 years (range, 24 to 56 years). The mean duration between injury and operation was 8.7 days (range, 4 to 14 days).
RESULTSInternal fixation for eighteen pubis fractures were accomplished by 28 punctiform incisions. The blood loss for each incision was averagely 30 ml, operation time of each pubic was about 45 minutes. Function restoration was evaluated by Majeed' score and all patients gained excellent result.
CONCLUSIONThe fracture of pubic rami can be fixed sucessfully by punctiform incision approach. It provides smaller incision, less postoperative complications and excellent function rehabilitation.

The discovery and application of Lanwei (EX-LE 7) was reviewed to elaborate its enlightenment on the inheritance and innovation of acupuncture. Literature published before April of 2017 was searched in CNKI and VIP database with"Lanwei (EX-LE 7)"and"acupuncture"as key words. Related references and publications were retrieved. According to the purpose, literature was screened and key information was extracted to perform systematic review and analysis. The results indicated Lanwei (EX-LE 7), reflection of relationship between organ and body surface under the guidance of acupuncture and meridians theory, was not a point, but an area. The discovery and application of Lanwei (EX- LE 7) was the product of western and Chinese combination. The best indication was simple appendicitis, but operation should be applied once adhesion, purulent and perforation occurred. It is indicated to improve clinical efficacy and avoid accident, the reasoned core of theory system should be insisted and the communication with modern medicine should be reinforced.

The spatiotemporal regulation of immune cells in lymph nodes (LNs) is crucial for mounting protective T-cell responses, which are orchestrated by dendritic cells (DCs). However, it is unclear how the DC subsets are altered by the inflammatory milieu of LNs. Here, we show that the inflamed LNs of Listeria-infected mice are characterized by the clustering of neutrophils and monocytes and IFN-γ production. Significantly, the early inflammatory responses are coupled with the differentiation of not one, but two types of CD64âºCD11câºMHCII⺠inflammatory DCs. Through the assessment of chemokine receptor dependency, gene expression profiles, growth factor requirements and DC-specific lineage mapping, we herein unveil a novel inflammatory DC population (we termed ‘CD64⺠cDCs’) that arises from conventional DCs (cDCs), distinguishable from CD64⺠monocyte-derived DCs (moDCs) in inflamed LNs. We determined that Listeria-induced type I IFN is a critical inflammatory cue for the development of CD64⺠cDCs but not CD64⺠moDCs. Importantly, CD64⺠cDCs displayed a higher potential to activate T cells than CD64⺠moDCs, whereas the latter showed more robust expression of inflammatory genes. Although CD64⺠and CD64− cDCs were able to cross-present soluble antigens at a high dose to CD8⺠T cells, CD64⺠cDCs concentrated and cross-presented a minute amount of soluble antigens delivered via CD64 (FcγRI) as immune complexes. These findings reveal the role of early inflammatory responses in driving the differentiation of two inflammatory DC subsets empowered with distinct competencies.
