Journal of Medical and Pharmaceutical Information 2001;11():4-7
Population is major cause that impacts on the environmental damage and degeneration currently and in the future. This paper analysed the situation of Vietnam's population including growth rate, distribution, migration, municipalization, and structure as age, sex, and marital status. In Vietnam, the population has been impacting the environmental degeneration and damage such as forest, sea, water, resource, air and light.

2.Population situation and new challenges of Vietnam population program at the entry of 21st century
Journal of Medical and Pharmaceutical Information 2000;(4):2-6
The United Nation (UN) approved the success and offered the International population Prize for Vietnam in 1999. From 1993 to 1999, the birth rate reduced from 3% to 2,19% per year. The rate of couple used the contraceptive methods increased from 53,7 to 75,31%. The population growth rate of 1,8% reduced gradually and will be the distributed birth rate in 2005. However, there were many challenges. The population program will develop the major activities related with the development of social-economy, renovation of the population activities in the new situation and quality of population in Vietnam.

3.Situation of Vietnam's population development and it's trend:
Journal of Medical and Pharmaceutical Information 2002;(9):7-11
There were 6 million people in 1999 in the world. The Vietnam's population are increasingly every year. Vietnam population in 1992 was more 1,632,000 than in 1991. Vietnam population in 1996 was more 1,392,000 than in 1995. The reduction of population growth was an urgent problem. The Vietnam's population feature was different from this of other countries that population's structure was young but average life expectancy was high. The rate of old people were increasingly. There was an increase of 2 millions of old people every year.

4.Vietnamese adolescent reproductive health in the door of 21st century
Journal of Medical and Pharmaceutical Information 2001;(10):4-6
This was the first time in the Vietnam population strategy during 2001-2010; the adolescent and youth were subjects of the information and communication activity and reproductive health services. The 'advice, information exchange and communication for couples in the reproductive ages, men, youth and adolescent' and 'improvement of the adolescent reproductive health' was an objective of the reproductive health strategy. Up to 2010, 70% of adolescent received the advice on the reproductive health.

5.Vietnam population at the beginning of 21st century - new challenges
Journal of Medical and Pharmaceutical Information 2001;1():9-11
Vietnam population was more than 80 millions in 1998-1999. In fact, this figure was about 80 millions in 2002. This was a significant achievement. Therefore, the United Nation approved the success of the population and family planning program and offered an international population award for Vietnam.

6.Fertility analysis through the 2002 year Demographic and Health Survey
Journal of Medical and Pharmaceutical Information 2003;0(11):6-8
The conclusions of fertility rate were briefed from analysis of fertility result of Demographic and Health Survey through 2002. Currently, the average birth delivery is 1.9 child /woman. That figure is low among Asian countries. The lowest birth rate in urban women is 1.4; Southeast women are 1.4, women with high school certificate upward are 1.4. The average duration between two birth delivery increasing from 36 months in 1997 to 47 months in 2002 in general. The average age for the first delivery highest for urban women, southeast area women and women having high school certificate up ward. The rate of pregnancy in under age is low, highest for illiteracy women or under graduate primary school

7.Population and reproductive health program in China lessons and experiences
Journal of Medical and Pharmaceutical Information 2004;0(8):5-7
Population and reproductive health program in China was focusing on family planning and reproductive health and would be switch to population and sustainable development in the next years, and these also were general orientations confirmed in the 1994 International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD) and would be continued in the next period begun from 2004. To implement these orientations, Chinese government introduced policies and legislations for people. China has reached many achievements of population and family planning tasks. 8.Isosexual precocious pseudopuberty: a case report
Ho Chi Minh city Medical Association 2005;10(1):20-20
Report a case of patient Tran Đ.V. born at December 26th 2002 in Ninh Thuan district, Khanh Hoa province, admitted hospital at November 25th 2003 due to hirsutism and developed genitalia. Ultrasound and CT scan examinations showed a mass in his right adrenal gland, which was subsequently removed surgically. The histopathological findings were consistent with an adreno-cortical carcinoma. This is a rare tumor with frequency 1/10.000 adrenal tumors in adult. In children, there are some cases and most frequently in girls. Adreno-cortical carcinoma combining with isosexual precocious pseudopuberty is rarer in boys

9.Role of LMA \u2013 Proseal in anesthesia for laparoscopic surgery
Khoa Anh Duong ; Kinh Quoc Nguyen
Journal of Medical Research 2008;58(5):29-34
Background: Is Laryngeal Mask Airway (LMA) Proseal superior over Endo Tracheal Tube (ETT) in anesthesia for laparoscopic surgery? Objective: (1) To evaluate the effect of LMA Proseal on blood pressure, heart rate and respiration in laparoscopic surgery. (2) To evaluate the surgical condition and side effects of LMA Proseal. Subject and Method: A single blind control study was done for 60 patients at Viet Duc Hospital. Patients were divided into 2 groups: LMA Proseal group (30 patients) and control group (30 patients). Blood pressure, heart rate, SpO2, PetCO2, Pmax and Vh were monitored after laparoscopic surgery. Results: Compared with ETT, LMA Proseal attenuates the increase in blood pressure and heart rate; SpO2, PetCO2, Pmax and Vh are stable within safe limits like ETT. Conclusions: LMA Proseal provides stability for blood pressure, heart rate and respiration while facilitating surgical conditions and reducing postoperative side effects.

Journal of Malaria and parasite diseases Control 2003;0(1):54-61
Background: Ha Vi poultry market is a concentrated and spontaneous poultry business place. Ensuring environmental hygiene is not respected.\r\n', u'Objectives: To evaluate infectious situation of airborne fungi at a poultry market\r\n', u'Subjects and methods: From 10/2006 to 9/2007 a survey on the profile of airborne fungi was carried out at the Havi poultry - market. Total fungal spores averaged at 2.753 \xb1 576 cfu/m3, the highest sample is 7.120 cfu/m3\u2022 More than 10 different fungi were isolated. \r\n', u'Results: The common fungi are Cladosporium (30.13%), Penicillium (26.86%), Aspergillus (20.97%, composed of A.niger, A fumigatus, A.jlavus, A.clavatus ...), Fusarium (8.15%), some rare fungi (Rhizopus, Rhizomucor, Mucor, Alternaria, Curvularia, Absidia, Bipolaris ... ) 13.89%. The concentration of airborne fungi at the market was higher than at distance of 300 and 1000 m. The concentrations of total fungi and of each species are affected by some meteorological factors: they were higher in the end of spring, early of summer and autumn, lowest in the winter. The concentrations of Cladosporium, Penicillium were found to be positive correlate with humidity, Aspergillus, Fusarium with temperature. \r\n', u'Conclusion: It is necessary to propose the methods that can reduce influence of airborne fungi pollution to health of people \r\n', u'
