METHODS: Radix Przewalskii tanguticae, Pericarpium Zanthoxyli, Her ba Oxytropis falcatae were identified by TLC, and the content of hyoscyamine in Radix Przewalskii tanguticae was determined by HPLC. RESULTS: The ethyl acetate-methanol-ammonia(17∶2∶1) was applied as the developer for the identification of Radix Przewalskii tanguticae on silica gel G coating plate. The cyclohexane-ethyl acetate-formic acid (30∶15∶1) was applied as the developer for the identification of Pericarpium Zanthoxyli on s ilic a gel G coating plate. The cyclohexane-ethyl acetate-formic acid (50∶10∶1) w as taken as the developer for the identification of Herba Oxytropis falcatae als o on silica gel G coating plate. Hyoscyamine showed a good linear relationship a t a range of 2.5~25?g,r=0.9999. The average recovery was 99.59%, and RSD was 1.34%. CONCLUSION: The methods are accurate and reliable, and can control the quality of this preparation effectively.

Objective To explore the clinical value of the ten-point scale in the early diagnosis of fat embolism syndrome. Methods The data of 129 patients with fat embolism syndrome diagnosed by Gurd criteria admitted from January 1993 to February 2012 were analyzed retrospectively. At the same time, another 97 patients with single or multiple long bone fracture and/or pelvic fracture without fat embolism admitted from July 2005 to February 2012 were enrolled as control group.Patients were excluded if they had any of the following diseases:simple brain trauma, thoracic injury, spine fracture, hemorrhagic shock and the complications of cardiopulmonary cerebral resuscitation (CPCR).The patients of two groups were comparable in respect of clinical setting. The clinical data were analyzed and scored by the ten-point scale. The x2 test were applied to statistical works. Results Among all the clinical characteristics, the incidence of increased D-dimer was the highest (74.1%) in early fat embolism syndrome, followed by the progressive decrease in hemoglobin (63.6%) and hypoxemia (57.4%),and the occurrence of dyspnea was the lowest (17.8%).The percentage of total scores over ten points in patients with fat embolism syndrome group was higher than that in those without fat embolism syndrome (x2 =202.6,P < 0.01).The sensitivity of tenpoint scale was 96.12% and the specificity was 99.8%.Conclusions Ten-point scale could be used to make early diagnosis of fat embolism syndrome, thereby reducing the occurrence of misdiagnosis and misseddiagnosis.

OBJECTIVE:
To develop a noninvasive method for prediction of 1p/19q codeletion in diffuse lower-grade glioma (DLGG) based on multimodal magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) radiomics.
METHODS:
We collected MRI data from 104 patients with pathologically confirmed DLGG between October, 2015 and September, 2022. A total of 535 radiomics features were extracted from T2WI, T1WI, FLAIR, CE-T1WI and DWI, including 70 morphological features, 90 first order features, and 375 texture features. We constructed logistic regression (LR), logistic regression least absolute shrinkage and selection operator (LRlasso), support vector machine (SVM) and Linear Discriminant Analysis (LDA) radiomics models and compared their predictive performance after 10-fold cross validation. The MRI images were reviewed by two radiologists independently for predicting the 1p/19q status. Receiver operating characteristic curves were used to evaluate classification performance of the radiomics models and the radiologists.
RESULTS:
The 4 radiomics models (LR, LRlasso, SVM and LDA) achieved similar area under the curve (AUC) in the validation dataset (0.833, 0.819, 0.824 and 0.819, respectively; P>0.1), and their predictive performance was all superior to that of resident physicians of radiology (AUC=0.645, P=0.011, 0.022, 0.016, 0.030, respectively) and similar to that of attending physicians of radiology (AUC=0.838, P>0.05).
CONCLUSION
Multiparametric MRI radiomics models show good performance for noninvasive prediction of 1p/19q codeletion status in patients with in diffuse lower-grade glioma.

Journal of Prevention and Treatment for Stomatological Diseases 2024;32(2):108-115
Objective:
To evaluate the stability and aesthetic effect of a xenogeneic collagen matrix (mucograft) on achieving an adequate keratinized mucosa width (KMW) around implants and to provide a reference basis for the clinical application of xenogeneic collagen matrix materials.
Methods:
The hospital ethics committee approved the study protocol, and the patients provided informed consent. Twenty patients with a KMW<2 mm at the buccal implant site who were treated in Binzhou Medical University Affiliated Yantai Stomatological Hospital from July 2020 to September 2022 were included, and a total of 36 implants were included. The mean age of the patients was (52.0±10.4) years, of which 18 were females and 2 were males. They were divided into a free gingival graft group (FGG, control group) and a xenogeneic collagen matrix group (test group) according to different graft materials. The incremental effect of the KMW on the buccal side of the implant and the mucosal shrinkage rate was measured at 1 month and 3 months after the operation. The mucosal scar index (MSI) was evaluated after the operation.
Results:
At 3 months postoperatively, the KMW was (3.67 ± 1.06) mm in the control group and (2.96 ± 0.98) mm in the test group, and the difference was statistically significant (t = 2.076, P<0.05). The KMW shrinkage rate was (33.34 ± 16.30) % in the test group and (22.05 ± 15.47) % in the control group at 1 month postoperatively and (51.95 ± 12.60) % in the test group and (37.44 ± 16.30) % in the control group at 3 months postoperatively, with statistically significant differences between the two groups at the same time points (P<0.05). Three months after surgery, the test group showed significantly better outcomes than the control group in terms of the five scar indicators (scar width, scar convexity, scar color, scar trace, and overall appearance), and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).
Conclusion
Xenogeneic collagen matrix can increase the peri-implant KMW and achieve a more natural and coordinated soft tissue aesthetic effect but with a higher shrinkage rate.
