1.Levels of Interferon ? and Interleukin-10 in Sera and in Culture Supernatants of Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells from Children with Chronic Hepatitis B Virus Carriers and Their Clinical Significance
Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2006;0(17):-
Objective To explore the levels of interferon ?(IFN-?) and interleukin-10(IL-10) in sera and in hepatitis B virus(HBV) core antigen(HBcAg) stimulated culture supernatants of peripheral blood mononuclear cells(PBMC) from chronic HBV carriers children and their clinical significance. Methods Five milliliter peripheral blood was collected from 21 HBeAg-positive children(group A),20 HBeAg-negative children(group B) and 19 normal controls(group C),sera and PBMC was isolated, after 72 h culture of PBMC with HBcAg or not.The levels of IFN-? and IL-10 in sera and in HBcAg stimulated or not stimulated culture supernatants of PBMC were detected. Results The level of sera IFN-? had no difference between each group;the sera level of IL-10 in group A and B were significantly higher than that of group C.The level of IFN-? in HBcAg stimulated culture supernatants of PBMC from group B and C were higher than that from group A;while IL-10 levels in HBcAg stimulated culture supernatants from group A and B were higher than that from group C.Conclusions The level of IL-10 and the lower reactivity to HBcAg of PBMC play roles in the mechanisms of chronic HBV carriers children.

3.Electroencephalogram Feature Selection Based on Correlation Coefficient Analysis.
Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2015;32(4):735-739
In order to improve the accuracy of classification with small amount of motor imagery training data on the development of brain-computer interface (BCD systems, we proposed an analyzing method to automatically select the characteristic parameters based on correlation coefficient analysis. Throughout the five sample data of dataset IV a from 2005 BCI Competition, we utilized short-time Fourier transform (STFT) and correlation coefficient calculation to reduce the number of primitive electroencephalogram dimension, then introduced feature extraction based on common spatial pattern (CSP) and classified by linear discriminant analysis (LDA). Simulation results showed that the average rate of classification accuracy could be improved by using correlation coefficient feature selection method than those without using this algorithm. Comparing with support vector machine (SVM) optimization features algorithm, the correlation coefficient analysis can lead better selection parameters to improve the accuracy of classification.

5.Everolimus prevents experimental IgA nephropathy in rats
Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 2016;32(10):1887-1891
[ ABSTRACT] AIM:To investigate the effects of everolimus on the experimental IgA nephropathy in rats and its possible mechanisms .METHODS:The rat model of experimental IgA nephropathy was established .The rats were ran-domly divided into control group , IgA group and everolimus treatment group .After the corresponding treatments were gi-ven, urinary red blood cells , protein and N-acetyl-β-D-glucosaminidase ( NAG) were examined .Immunofluorescence stai-ning was used to analyze the level of IgA precipitation in the renal tissues .Additionally, the protein expression of myeloid differentiation factor 88 (MyD88), TLR4, NF-κB, IL-4 and IL-13 was determined by Western blot. The mRNA levels of IL-4 and IL-13 were detected by qPCR .RESULTS:Everolimus significantly inhibited the increases in the urinary levels of red blood cells, protein and NAG in experimental IgA nephropathy rats .Furthermore, IgA nephropathy-induced increases in the protein expression of MyD88, TLR4, NF-κB, IL-4 and IL-13 were attenuated after everolimus treatment .Similar re-sults were obtained in the mRNA levels of IL-4 and IL-13 by qPCR detection .CONCLUSION: Everolimus improves the impairments of renal function in experimental IgA nephropathy rats as evidenced by decreasing urinary red blood cells , pro-tein and NAG, which may be related to the inhibition of MyD 88, TLR4, NF-κB, IL-4 and IL-13 expression.
6.Artificial total hip arthroplasty for proximal femur tumors:clinical efficacy and security
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2014;(26):4115-4119
BACKGROUND:With elevated medical levels, limb salvage surgery for limb malignant tumor is valuable day by day. At present, the limb salvage surgery has substituted amputation and becomes mainstream and development direction of present surgical treatment of limb tumors. However, so far, there are no unified surgical indications for proximal femur tumor, which are controversial. OBJECTIVE:To investigate the efficacy of artificial total hip arthroplasty combined with extended resection of tumor sections for proximal femoral bone tumors. METHODS:Patients with proximal femoral bone tumors in the Second Xiangya Hospital of Central South University were selected and divided into control group and observation group, with 30 patients in each group. According to the disease, lesion curettage, aneurysm wal inactivation, autologous and (or) al ogeneic bone, mixed bone graft and bone graft fixation were selected to treat the control group. The observation group patients received extended resection of tumor sections and total hip arthroplasty. The operative time, intraoperative blood loss, hospital stay and joint function of two groups were compared. 2 years later, patients were revisited. Metastasis and recurrence rate, death rate and quality of life of two groups were compared. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:There was no significant difference in intraoperative blood loss and surgery time between the two groups (P>0.05). However, hospital stay of patients in the observation group was shorter than the control group. The excellent and good rate of recovery of joint function (83%) was higher in the observation group than in the control group (53%). The metastasis and recurrence rate within 2 years after surgery (7%) and death rate (3%) were lower in the observation group than in the control group (30%, 23%). Various indicators of quality of life of patients in the observation group were significantly better than the control group (P<0.05). These results confirmed that artificial total hip arthroplasty in the treatment of proximal femur tumors is safe and effective.
