1.Levels of Interferon ? and Interleukin-10 in Sera and in Culture Supernatants of Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells from Children with Chronic Hepatitis B Virus Carriers and Their Clinical Significance
Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2006;0(17):-
Objective To explore the levels of interferon ?(IFN-?) and interleukin-10(IL-10) in sera and in hepatitis B virus(HBV) core antigen(HBcAg) stimulated culture supernatants of peripheral blood mononuclear cells(PBMC) from chronic HBV carriers children and their clinical significance. Methods Five milliliter peripheral blood was collected from 21 HBeAg-positive children(group A),20 HBeAg-negative children(group B) and 19 normal controls(group C),sera and PBMC was isolated, after 72 h culture of PBMC with HBcAg or not.The levels of IFN-? and IL-10 in sera and in HBcAg stimulated or not stimulated culture supernatants of PBMC were detected. Results The level of sera IFN-? had no difference between each group;the sera level of IL-10 in group A and B were significantly higher than that of group C.The level of IFN-? in HBcAg stimulated culture supernatants of PBMC from group B and C were higher than that from group A;while IL-10 levels in HBcAg stimulated culture supernatants from group A and B were higher than that from group C.Conclusions The level of IL-10 and the lower reactivity to HBcAg of PBMC play roles in the mechanisms of chronic HBV carriers children.
2.Electroencephalogram Feature Selection Based on Correlation Coefficient Analysis.
Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2015;32(4):735-739
In order to improve the accuracy of classification with small amount of motor imagery training data on the development of brain-computer interface (BCD systems, we proposed an analyzing method to automatically select the characteristic parameters based on correlation coefficient analysis. Throughout the five sample data of dataset IV a from 2005 BCI Competition, we utilized short-time Fourier transform (STFT) and correlation coefficient calculation to reduce the number of primitive electroencephalogram dimension, then introduced feature extraction based on common spatial pattern (CSP) and classified by linear discriminant analysis (LDA). Simulation results showed that the average rate of classification accuracy could be improved by using correlation coefficient feature selection method than those without using this algorithm. Comparing with support vector machine (SVM) optimization features algorithm, the correlation coefficient analysis can lead better selection parameters to improve the accuracy of classification.

5.Artificial total hip arthroplasty for proximal femur tumors:clinical efficacy and security
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2014;(26):4115-4119
BACKGROUND:With elevated medical levels, limb salvage surgery for limb malignant tumor is valuable day by day. At present, the limb salvage surgery has substituted amputation and becomes mainstream and development direction of present surgical treatment of limb tumors. However, so far, there are no unified surgical indications for proximal femur tumor, which are controversial. OBJECTIVE:To investigate the efficacy of artificial total hip arthroplasty combined with extended resection of tumor sections for proximal femoral bone tumors. METHODS:Patients with proximal femoral bone tumors in the Second Xiangya Hospital of Central South University were selected and divided into control group and observation group, with 30 patients in each group. According to the disease, lesion curettage, aneurysm wal inactivation, autologous and (or) al ogeneic bone, mixed bone graft and bone graft fixation were selected to treat the control group. The observation group patients received extended resection of tumor sections and total hip arthroplasty. The operative time, intraoperative blood loss, hospital stay and joint function of two groups were compared. 2 years later, patients were revisited. Metastasis and recurrence rate, death rate and quality of life of two groups were compared. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:There was no significant difference in intraoperative blood loss and surgery time between the two groups (P>0.05). However, hospital stay of patients in the observation group was shorter than the control group. The excellent and good rate of recovery of joint function (83%) was higher in the observation group than in the control group (53%). The metastasis and recurrence rate within 2 years after surgery (7%) and death rate (3%) were lower in the observation group than in the control group (30%, 23%). Various indicators of quality of life of patients in the observation group were significantly better than the control group (P<0.05). These results confirmed that artificial total hip arthroplasty in the treatment of proximal femur tumors is safe and effective.
6.Treatment of experimental allergic conjunctivitis with musk eye drops in guinea pigs
Chinese Traditional Patent Medicine 1992;0(06):-
AIM: To investigate the therapeutic effect and its mechanisms of musk eye drops on allergic conjunctivitis (AC) in guinea pigs.METHODS: AC was developed by intraperitoneal injection of a mixture containing Ovalbumin (OVA) and Al(OH)3 in guinea pig.Sixty guinea pigs with AC were randomly divided into 6 groups,i.e.,AC model group, three treated groups treated with musk eye drops in high, middle and low dosage, group treated with dexamethasone sodium phosphate eye drops.Together with solvent group as sixth group. After one week of administration, the changes of guinea pigs in symptoms, histamine and OVA-specific IgE concentration of ocular tissues, and morphological features of conjunctiva were observed under light microscopy.RESULTS: Compared with the vehicle group, the conjunctiva symptoms scale, histamine and OVA-specific IgE concentration of ocular tissues and morphological changes scale of conjunctiva of guinea pigs in the model group were fairly good.Compared with the model group, the ocular symptoms of guinea pigs in each of the musk eye drops treated groups showed relieved (P
7.Progress in research on techniques of pedicle screw insertion in thoracolumbars pine
Chinese Journal of Orthopaedic Trauma 2002;0(01):-
Application of the techniques of pedicle screw fixation in t horacolumbar spine has forcefully promoted the development of spinal surgery. Th e key to the techniques is that the pedicle screw insertion must be located into the sole exact routeway of the three-dimensional-space, that is, into the inn er vertebral body through the pedicle according to the exact arrow plane angle a nd horizontal plane angle. Recently great development has been made in the resea rch on the techniques of pedicle screw insertion in thoracolumbar spine, especia lly in the supervising means during operation. The means have been developed fro m the traditional X-ray perspective or photograph apposition to the application of computer-assisted technique. This paper reviews and discusses the current d evelopment and prospects in the research on the techniques of pedicle screw inse rtion in thoracolumbar spine.
8.Application of DSA Image Mosaic in Arteriography in Lower Extremities
Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 2003;0(10):-
Objective To evaluate the value of DSA image mosaic in arteriography in lower extremities. Methods 22 suspected cases were examined by bolus chase, and then the images were mosaiced to a full picture after processing by Paste to judge the image effects of vessels. Results This method could display the whole image by one injection of contrast media. Vary lesions were found in the 22 cases. Conclusion This method can display the lower extremities lesions directly, which is better than traditional DSA.
9.Contrast Test of Injection Indisposition between Disome and Monomer Diagnostic Opaque in Femoral Arteriogram
Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 2003;0(10):-
Objective To compare the safety and efficiency of non -ionic monomer diagnostic opaque, iodixanol (Visipaque) and that of non -ionic disomer diagnostic opaque, iohexol (Omnipaque). Methods By comparing retrospectively the DSA opacification of 60 patients from 2006 to 2007, patients′ indispositions, adverse reactions and pictorial efficiency were recorded respectively. Results In the control group, iodixanol showed less indisposition caused by injection than iohexol and there′ s no obvious difference of indisposition. Both images met diagnostic requirements. Conclusion Both iodixanol and iohexol are safe, efficient and well -tolerant diagnostic opaque. Iodixanol is better than iohexol in indisposition caused by injection.
