1.Effect of hypoxia-ischemia on cysteinyl aspartate-specific proteinases activity in cerebral tissue of neonatal rat
Chinese Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology 2001;36(2):79-81
Objective To study the effect of hypoxia-ischemia on cysteinyl aspartate-specific proteinases (caspase-3) activity in cerebral tissue of neonatal rat and probe into its significance. Methods To induce hypoxic-ischemic brain damage (HIBD), the left carotid artery of rats at day 7 was ligated and animals were exposed to 8% oxygen for 2 hours. 0.5,12,24,and 48 hours after HIBD, both ipsilateral and contralateral cerebral tissue were ditected and homogenized. caspase-3 activity was measured by cleavage of the colorimetric substrate DEVD-pNA. Results Caspase-3 activity in ipsilateral cerebral tissue increased gradually after HIBD and peaked at 24 hours, and then decreased significantly at 48 hours(P<0.001). There were no significant changes in caspase-3 activity in the contralateral tissue at all time points (P>0.05). Conclusions Significant activation of caspase-3 after cerebral hypoxia-ischemia strongly suggests that apoptosis is involved in HIBD. Application of caspase inhibitors or other anti-apoptotic agents may become a new therapeutics of HIBD.
2.Effects of HFJV outside of the glottis on the blood gas and lipid peroxidation in dogs with hemorrhagic shock
Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 1989;0(05):-
18 dogs with hemorrhagic shock were divided into 3 groups. Group Ⅰwascontrol, group Ⅱ and Ⅲ were jetted with air or oxygen respectively and continuouslyoutside the glottis by HFJV (frequency 80 beat/min, driving pressure 0.2 MPa, I:E timeratio=1:2) during the uncompensated period. Results: Not much difference was foundbetween group Ⅰand Ⅱ in their blood gas, acid-base balance and plasma malondialdehyde(MDA). However, the P_aO_2, P_aCO_2, CO_2, combining power and plasma MDA in group Ⅲwere markedly higher than those of group Ⅰand group Ⅱ (P
3.Nuclear Factor-?B and Colon Cancer
Chinese Journal of Bases and Clinics in General Surgery 2003;0(02):-
Objective To explore the relationship between nuclear factor ?B (NF ?B) and the occurrence, metastasis, and treatment of colon cancer. Methods The literature on the structure and the property of molecular biology of NF ?B, the relationship between NF ?B and apopotosis, malignant tumor and colon cancer were reviewed. Results NF ?B had action of antiapopotosis. The occurrence of malignant tumor had close relation with the oncogene by NF ?B, the metastasis of malignant tumor was that cell of cancer escaped the killing and supervising of immunity by NF ?B. NF ?B affected the occurrence and metastasis of colon cancer by regulating c myc, Cox2, ICAM 1.Conclusion NF ?B has important action in the occurrence and metastasis of colon cancer. It will become a new target of treatment.
4.Pancreatic ?-cell dysfunction and type 2 diabetes
Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 1986;0(03):-
Both ?-cell dysfunction and insulin resistance contribute to the development of type 2 diabetes, and ?-cell function, especially early insulin secretion, is important in maintaining normal glucose tolerance. This review focuses on the ciritical role of ?-cell dysfunction in the pathogenesis of type 2 diabetes.

Objection: To study the characteristics of shame of patients with neurosis. Method: 52 patients with nuclear neurosis were evaluated by SCL-90, Shame Scale, and Children Trauma Questionnaire. The control group (n=30) was evaluated just by Shame Scale. Results:The total score of Shame Scale and the subscores of each factor were all higher in neurotic patients than in control group (total score 69.0?20.4/48.7?10.2, personality 29.4?9.7/19.8?5.8, behavior 23.5?6.5/18.0?4.2, body 8.3?3.4/5.7?2.2, family 7.7?3.9/5.2?1.7, t=3.15~5.09,P=0.001or
6.Application prospects of monitoring of brain function and diagnosis of brain injury in premature infants based on multimodal data
Chinese Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2017;32(14):1055-1057
It is critical to assess the development and injury of brain function in premature infants in early stage.Currently, brain development and brain injury are evaluated by many ways and mainly by kinds of imaging and behavioral neurological assessment. The integrated application of these examination methods have been explored for years. The combination of resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging and electroencephalography has prominent advantages, because they do not need to perform specific tasks, and they are noninvasive and non-toxic for preterm infants.Based on the support vetor machine learning of artificial intelligence technology, the typical characteristics of 2 multimodal data can be integrated and a multimodal assessment system which automatically monitor and predict premature infants' brain function development and injury can be established.
7.Assessing the trunk control of children with spastic cerebral palsy
Chinese Journal of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation 2013;(4):278-281
Objective To investigate the trunk stability control of spastic cerebral palsy patients, and to analyze their visual compensation and the resulting symmetrical balance of the trunk. Methods Twenty children with spastic cerebral palsy and 20 healthy children formed the experimental and control groups respectively.Their balance was tested using the PK 254P rehabilitation system.Trunk stability and symmetry parameters were measured in standardized silent sitting for 30s with the eyes open and closed. The anterior-posterior (AP) and mediolateral deviations of the center of pressure (COP),the average speed of COP excursions in each direction, the COP perimeter, and the ellipse area of the COP were quantified. Results The two groups showed statistically significant differences in the average values of all the variables measured. The differences in the trunk stability control parameters of the experimental group between the eyes-open and eyes-closed conditions were significantly greater than those of the control group. The offset of the medial-lateral COP in the spastic cerebral palsy subjects was nearly symmetrical (the average position of the COP on the X axis was close to zero),while the anterior-posterior offset tended to the anterior direction (the average position of the COP on the Y axis was significantly positive). The medial-lateral and anterior-posterior offsets of the health subjects were nearly symmetrical (both close to zero). Conclusion Children with spastic cerebral palsy have less trunk stability control than healthy children. They rely more on visual cues in compensation.Their medial-lateral COP control is nearly symmetrical, but their anteriorposterior posture tends to the anterior.
8.Trifoil peptide and gastrointestinal ulcer
Chinese Journal of General Surgery 2000;0(11):-
ObjectiveTo introduce the effect of trifoil peptides on the protection and treatment of gastrointestinal ulcer(GIU). MethodsWe reviewed literatures about trifoil peptide in its structure, distribution, physiologic effect and mechanism, and its relation with GIU. Results Trifoil peptides formed a layer of mucus glue by combining with glycoprotein ,and improved the defense ability of the gastrointestinal(GI) mucosa .Trifoil peptides repaired the GI mucosa by abjusting the movement of mucosal cells. Trifoil peptides also had the effect of antiproliferation and antiapopotosis. There was an ulcer-associated cell lineage (UACL) around GIU. In GIU, trifoil peptides unusually expressed new cells coming from UACL moved to the surface of ulcer, and repaired the ulcer. UACL can express three trifoil peptides.Used before and after the experiment, trifoil peptides have the protective and therapeutic effect on the experiment gastroenteric ulcer. ConclusionsTrifoil peptides may offer a new method to prevent and treat GIU.
