1.Applied Anatomy of Hepatic Arteries in Living Liver Transplantation of Left Lateral Lobe
Chinese Journal of Bases and Clinics in General Surgery 2003;0(05):-
Objective To study the anatomy of the hepatic arteries and imitate the way to deal with the hepatic arteries in the living liver transplantation of the left lateral lobe. Methods Thirty normal adult livers were anatomyzed and 30 casting models of livers were observed. The lengths, diameters and distributaries of the hepatic arteries were described Results The blood supply of the left lateral region came from proper hepatic artery, left hepatic artery and middle hepatic artery. The aberrant arteries included left inferior phrenic artery, left gastric artery and right gastric artery. They branched to supply the upper segment and the inferior segment Conclusion There are five types of hepatic arteries to supply the left liver lobe. The anatomy of hepatic arteries should be studied and a reasonable approach to gain a liver graft should be designed before transplantation. The hepatic arteries should be dealt with so as to anastomose with recipient hepatic arteries.
2.The expression of Endophilin II and VEGF-C in human laryngeal cancer and connection with clinical treatment.
Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2015;29(13):1156-1159
OBJECTIVE:
To study the expression of Endophilin II and VEGF-C in human Laryngeal cancer and its relationship with the clinical treatment effect.
METHOD:
The expression and distribution of Endophilin II and VEGF-C protein were checked in 47 patients with laryngeal carcinoma in our hospital in 2006-09-2009-10 and 23 samples of normal tissues around the cancer by immunohistochemical staining SP method. After an appropriate surgical treatment, patients accepted a 5-year followup to evaluate their recurrence situation and 5-year survival rate.
RESULT:
Immunohistochemistry showed that Endophilin II protein was strongly positive expressed in normal tissues around the cancer (positive rate 82.61%). And the expression level was dependent on the lymph metastasis, T stage and lymph invasion (P < 0.05). Patients with positive Endophilin II expression had a higher survival rate and better recurrence situation. Expression of VEGF-C was significantly higher in laryngeal carcinoma than in normal tissue around the cancer (positive rate 51.06% and 13.04%). the expression level was dependent on the lymph metastasis and lymph invasion (P < 0.05), and negatively correlated with recurrence and 5-year survival rate.
CONCLUSION
Endophilin II and VEGF-C may involve in laryngeal cancer, and the expression of Endophilin II and VEGF-C has a positive correlation with pathological features and lymph metastasis, and both are related with recurrence and 5-year survival rate. So these two proteins are likely to be a potential target for diagnosis and treatment of laryngeal cancer.

ve To study the way of oxidative stress induced by soot rat pulmonary cells type Ⅱ ?Methods Before exposure to soot extracts, the rat pulmonary cells were pretreated with anti-oxidative agent, N-acetylcysteine (NAC), vitamin C, vitamin E and mannitol for 30 minutes, then the ceils were exposed to the soot extracts for 24 hours. MTT assay was applied to detect the cytotoxicity. Results It showed that NAC, vitamin C and vitamin E could reduce the cytotoxicity of rat pulmonary cell caused by soot, but no same change was observed in that of man-nitol. Conclusion It was suggested that the DNA oxidative stress of soot may be caused by multi-ways, such as in-duction of oxygen free radical and lipid peroxide etc.

Objective To explore a reasonable therapeutic plan for treating HIV/AIDS with traditional Chinese medicine plus western medicine. Methods Twenty-nine patients with HIV/AIDS were selected and recruited into a HIV group and a AIDS group according to the clinical diagnosis. Each group was further divided into comparison stage and treatment stage. In HIV group, observations and statistics of observation indexes were performed during the comparison stage; while TCM treatment was applied in the treatment stage. In AIDS group, HAART was applied in the comparison stage, and HAART combined with TCM therapy were used in the treatment stage. Both comparison stage and the treatment stage lasted 12 months. Results In HIV group, self control results showed that immune and virus indexes did not have significant changes, but also with no side or toxic effects, In the AIDS group, contrasting between the comparison stage and the treatment stage showed that there were significant improvement of symptoms (χ2=4.9231, 2.5000, P<0.05) , anti-toxic effects (χ2=9.333、 16.4091、10.2273, P<0.01) and immune indexed(t=3.1990,P<0.01) after treated additionally with traditional Chinese medicine. Conclusion Traditional Chinese medicine could improve the immunity function and clinical symptoms, reduce side effect of HAART medicine and stabilize CD4+ T cells of patient with HIV/AIDS.
