Chinese Journal of Dermatology 1995;0(01):-
Immunoblotting(IB) technique has been frequently used to detect bullous pemphigoid (BP) antibodies in BP patient. It is important to extract the antigen proteins fully and intactly in the base membrane zone(BMZ) of normal human epidermis. The simple method of extracting antigens will make IB techniqne easy.Three different methods of extracting antigen proteins were compared.Using IB for detecting BP antibodies,it has been found that the results of epidermal extract preparations are basically similar. However, one of these methods (NO.1) is more convenient and may obtain more amounts of antigens.Another method(No.3) is identical to that of extracting antigens in dermis for de- tecting epidermolysis bullosa acquista (EBA) antibodies. Therefore,in using IB technique to distinguish BP from EBA,one can apply method No.3.
5.Application and case analysis on the problem-based teaching of Jingluo Shuxue Xue (Science of Meridian and Acupoint) in reference to the team oriented learning method.
Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2015;35(12):1315-1318
The problem based teaching (PBT) has been the main approach to the training in the universities o the world. Combined with the team oriented learning method, PBT will become the method available to the education in medical universities. In the paper, based on the common questions in teaching Jingluo Shuxue Xue (Science of Meridian and Acupoint), the concepts and characters of PBT and the team oriented learning method were analyzed. The implementation steps of PBT were set up in reference to the team oriented learning method. By quoting the original text in Beiji Qianjin Yaofang (Essential recipes for emergent use worth a thousand gold), the case analysis on "the thirteen devil points" was established with PBT.

6.THE RESPONSES OF VISUAL FUNCTION TO LUTEIN SUPPLEMENTS IN PEOPLE WITH LONG-TERM DISPLAY LIGHT EXPOSURE
Acta Nutrimenta Sinica 2004;0(05):-
Objective To examine the effect of lutein supplementation on visual function in people with long-term display light exposure. Method Thirty-seven persons (age 22-30) with long-term display light exposure were divided into low-dose group, high-dose group, and placebo group involving supplementation with 6 mg lutein/d, 12 mg lutein/d, and placebo for 12 w. The levels of serum lutein and visual function indices such as break-up time (BUT), critical flicker fusion frequency (CFF), visuognosis persistence, and reaction time were measured at week 0 and 12. Results After lutein supplementation serum concentrations of high-dose group and low-dose group increased from (0.328?0.120) ?mol/L to (0.733?0.354) ?mol/L, and from (0.356?0.117) ?mol/L to (0.607?0.176) ?mol/L respectively. There was significant increase of break up time in left eyes of high-dose group. Visuognosis persistence was significantly improved, and significant decrease of simple reaction time was observed in high-dose group. No statistical change was observed in critical flicker fusion frequency, discriminative reaction time and choice reaction time during the study. Conclusion Visual function indices such as break-up time, visuognosis persistence and simple reaction time in people with long-term display light exposure who received lutein supplements were significantly improved.
7.Protein transduction technique in differentiation of pancreatic stem cell
International Journal of Surgery 2009;36(9):623-626
As a new biotechnology, protein transduction connects the target fragment with biology active and protein transduction domain, and transducer it in to cells, exert its biological effects. Protein transduc-tion domain is a small molecule peptide, not only the protein transduction domain can penetrate through cell membrane, but could maintain the activity of its fusion protein. Protein transduction is an emerging biology technology, it has been applied into all aspects of cell gene regulation since its invention. In this article, we take Tat, Pdx-1 and Beta/NeuroD for instance and review the application of transduction protein in the dif-ferentiation of pancreatic stem cell.
8.Long-term survival and metabolic syndrome in childhood cancer
International Journal of Pediatrics 2014;(5):496-499,500
Along with the rapid development of global medical technology, great progress has been made in clinical diagnosis and treatment of childhood cancer, hence childhood cancer survival rate is increasing markedly. The clinicians have become concerned about life quality of childhood cancer survivors. A number of studies reported that long-term childhood cancer survivors are at increased risk of developing metabolic syn-drome,especially after cranial irradiation, abdomal irradiation,or total body irradiation. Metabolic syndrome is a variety of metabolic abnormalities commonly clustered together in a condition of the same individual, which sig-nificantly increases risk of cardiovascular diseases. Though the etiology of the metabolic syndrome in cohorts of childhood cancer survivors has not been elucidated, the predisposing factors have been identified as the lack of hormones after cancer treatment, damage from medicine or radiation therapy, endothelial dysfunction and so on. Accordingly, early diagnosis of metabolic syndrome is of great importance with medical interventions, such as encouraging cancer survivors to improve dietary habit and enhance exercise to achieve ideal weight, and to subse-quently decrease the risk of metabolic syndrome and cardiovascular events.

China Medical Equipment 2015;(10):65-68,69
Radiotherapy and chemotherapy are the main treatment means for locally advanced squamous cell carcinoma of the pharynx and larynx, to guarantee efficacy and avoid the damage of radical surgery, so as to preserve the laryngeal function of swallowing and pronunciation. With the progressing of radiotherapy technology, concept of treatment and radiotherapy mode have been advanced constantly, that have prolonged the survival time and improved the quality of life. This study will review the progress of radiotherapy in the pharynx and larynx squamous cell carcinoma, investigate the improvement of radiotherapy technology and hypofractionated IMRT, and provide reference for reducing the toxicity and after effects of radiotherapy.
10.Diagnostic value of apparent diffusion coefficient value in prediction of grade for neuroepithelial tumors
Chinese Journal of Radiology 2009;43(11):1135-1138
Objective To investigate the predictive value of ADC value in grading of neuroepithelial tumors. Methods The clinical data and images of 70 patients with neuroepithelial tumors pathologically proven were collected and analyzed restrospectively. All the patients were classified into low(WHOⅠ or Ⅱ)and high(WHO Ⅲ or Ⅳ)grade groups which included 40 and 30 cases respectively accroding to the 2007 WHO classification of tumours of the central nervous system. All the patients underwent plain and contrast-enhanced MR scan and DWI before surgery. The minimum ADC(MinADC)value was measured postoperatively on ADC maps. The Ki-67 labeling index(Ki-67 LI)of tumor tissue was determined by immunohistochemistry.MinADC values for two groups were analyzed using student t test, while the age and Ki-67 LI for the two groups was analyzed using Mann-Whitney test(P<0.05 considered to be significant=.Also the MinADC valHe and Ki-67 LI were analyzed with Pearson correlation. The receiver operating characteristic analysis was used for evaluation for grading neuroepithelial tumors of the patients using MinADC. Results The mean MinADC value[(1.08±0.31)×10~(-3) mm~2/s]of the low grade group was significantly higher than that[(0.74±0.18)×10~(-3) mm~2/s]of the high grade group(t=5.42,P<0.05=,and the Ki-67 LI of the low grade group[0-50%,median 4%]was significantly lower than that[0-75%,median 25%]of the high grade group(U=325.50,P<0.05=.There was a negative correlation between MinADC value and Ki-67 LI(r=-0.30,P<0.05=.The area under the ROC curve was 0.85,and the cutoff MinADC value of 0.86×10~(-3) mm~2/s for the differentiation between high and low grade neuroepithelial tumors provided the best combination of sensitivity(90.0%)and specificity(77.5%)(receiver operatingcharacteristic analysis). Conclusion MinADC value is helpful for prediction of neuroepithelial tumor grade.
