1.Osteopontin and lung cancer
Cancer Research and Clinic 2008;20(7):499-502
Osteopontin (OPN), a phospborylated and glycosylated protein,is a prominent matrices component of the extracellular matrix of mineralized tissues of bones and teeth, in which they can regulate the formation and growth of hydroxyapatite crystals and influence a variety of cell activities.Recent studies have reported that the expression of OPN is not only correlated with bone formation and bone resorption but also with tumor aggression and metastasis in several types of human cancer, and OPN is even considered to be an index for the diagnosis and prognosis of tumor. This article reviews OPN's role in lung cancer' s infiltration, metastasis and prognosis.
2.Effects of mechanical factors on proliferation and differentiation of tissue-engineered stem cells
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2016;20(19):2864-2871
BACKGROUND:With the development of tissue engineering technology and the deep research of tendon regeneration, many problems caused by traditional tendon transplantation wil be solved. OBJECTIVE:To evaluate and prospect the effects of corresponding mechanical systems on seeding cel s based on the characters of tendon, stem cel s as wel as mechanical systems. METHODS:CBM, CNKI, CqVip and PubMed databases were retrieved for reviews and articles related to tissue-engineered tendon published from January in 2005 to December in 2015. The keywords were“tissue engineering, tendon, tendon stem cel , mechanical stimulation and seeding cel s”in Chinese and English, respectively. Final y a total of 63 articles were selected for overview. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:As al kinds of stem cel s and the corresponding mechanical systems exhibit advantages and disadvantages when applied for tissue engineering, it is advisable to make appropriate choices according to the research needs. Tendon stem cel s show a broad application prospect in tendon regeneration, which wil grow into required tendon tissues through appropriate, accurate and gentle mechanical stimulations, thereby providing another alternative to improve the tendon healing.
3.Regulating mechanism of chemokine of CXCL12 on the progress of gastric cancer
International Journal of Surgery 2015;42(7):501-504
The chemokine CXCL12 and its receptor CXCR4 played a very important role in the gastric carcinoma, which promoted the growth, invasion, and metastasis of the gastric carcinoma through various of signal pathways. In this paper, the literatures related CXCL12,signal pathways and gastric carcinoma were retrieved and explored. And the authors present the research progress concerning the roles of CXCL12 and its regulating mechanism in neoplasm, especially in gastric cancer.
4.The measurement of convergence angles of the fixed denture
Journal of Practical Stomatology 2001;17(2):138-140
Objective: To measure the convergence angles of teeth in different teeth positions and different denture designs.Methods:Mesio-distal widths and labio-lingual widths were measured on 226 teeth according to three points in a line on three surfaces (gingival, middle and incise) of each tooth. The distance between every point and the counterpart point in the adjacent surface was measured. Then convergence angles were calculated. Results:The means of the angles were 4.13°±0.77°,4.14°±0.76°, 4.46°±0.95°, 4.76°±0.84° on the first and second premolar, the first and second molar, respectively . There were significant differences between the premolars and molars(P<0.05).On the dentures with the designs of monocrown, triunit-bridge and long bridge the means of the angles were 3.78°±0.74°,4.69°±0.75° and 5.08°±0.85° respectively, the angle on the denture with the design of monocrown was smaller than that of bridge (P<0.05).Conclusion:The convergence angles are different according to different teeth positions and different denture designs, so they should be adjusted according to the clinical requirements.

Journal of Clinical Surgery 2017;25(3):212-214
Objective To observe and evaluate the clinical curative efficacy of perineal stapled prolapse resection in the treatment of complete rectal prolapse. Methods 15 patients of complete rectal prolapse were all treated by perineal stapled prolapse resection,The anal function of the patients were evaluated according to the Wexner incontinence score standard. Results All patients were successfully completed the operation.Postoperative complications:postoperative bleeding in 2 cases, anastomotic stenosis in 2 cases. These symptoms were relieved after symptomatic treatment. The anal sphincter function was improved in all patients after operation. There were no obvious incontinence. The preoperative Wexner incontinence score was 13.5±1.8,andpostoperative Wexner incontinence score was 4.2±1.5,there were significant statistical difference between them(P<0.05).The mean follow-up were 18 months(2-30 months). There was no recurrence during the follow-up period. Conclusion Perineal stapled prolapse resection as a new type of operation had small trauma, simple operation, less complications and short-term curative effect of good characteristics. They can effectively improve the symptoms of anal incontinence in patients with complete rectal prolapse.

7.Gene Chips-aided Analysis on the Profiles of Hippocampal Whole-genome Expression in Depression Rats Following Electroacupuncture Treatment
Acupuncture Research 2010;0(02):-
Objective To observe the effect of electroacupuncture(EA) on the profiles of hippocampal whole-genome expression in depression rats so as to study its underlying mechanism in relieving depression. Methods Thirty male SD rats were randomized into normal, model and EA groups(n=10/group).Depression model was established by chronic unpredictable stress stimulation(forced ice-water swimming, electric shock,tail-clamping,etc.) and lonely raising for 21 days.EA(2 Hz,1 mA) was applied to "Baihui"(GV 20) and "Yintang"(EX-HN 3) for 15 min, once daily for 7 days. The rats' ethological activities(horizontal and vertical movements) were detected with Open-field test in Morris labyrinth, and 1% sucrose solution consumption was detected. After termination of the treatment, the rats were killed and their hippocampal tissues were taken out for analyzing the whole-genome expression with Roche-NimbleGen chips(Rattus norvegicus 12?135 Karray). Results Compared with normal group, the distance of horizontal movement, rearing times, and sucrose consumption at day 21 and day 28 of model group decreased considerably(P
