3.Application of gabapentin in the treatment of neuropathic pain
International Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2015;23(11):859-862
As an anti-epilepsy drug, gabapentin plays an important role in the treatment of neuropathic pain through a variety of central and peripheral mechanisms.Studies have shown that gabapentin has better efficacy for post-stroke pain, spinal cord injury-related pain, postherpetic neuralgia, and pain in diabetic peripheral neuropathy. For mild adverse effects, good tolerance and lack of interactions, gabapentin is an ideal drug for the treatment of neuropathic pain.
5.Determination of Aristolochic Acid Ⅰ and Aristolochic Acid Ⅱ in Human Serum by HPLC
China Pharmacy 2005;0(18):-
OBJECTIVE:To establish a HPLC method for the determination of aristolochic acidⅠand aristolochic acid Ⅱin human serum.METHODS:The separation was performed on C 18 column(250mm?4.6mm,5?m).The mobile phase consisted of methanol-water-acetic(72∶27∶1)at a flow rate of1.0ml/min.The detection wavelength was250nm.RESULTS:The linear ranges for aristolochic acidⅠand aristolochic acid Ⅱ were0.84~13.50?g/ml(r=0.9997,n=5)and2.03~32.50?g/ml(r=0.9994,n=5),respectively.The lowest determination concentration of aristolochic acid Ⅰ and aristolochic acid Ⅱ were0.3?g/ml and0.1?g/ml,respectively.CONCLUSION:The method is simple and practicable, and it can provide basis for clinical diagnosis and treatment of aristolochic acid nephropathy.
6.Research progress of mitochondrial biogenesis and cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury
Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 2016;32(8):1478-1483
Mitochondria are important intracellular energy supply organelles .As semi-autonomous organelles , the mitochondrial biogenesis , damage and clearance were the dynamic processes , which are dual-regulated by mitochondrial genes and nuclear genes , and maintain mitochondrial homeostasis according to the needs of the cells for energy .Recent studies provide evidence that the disorder of mitochondrial biogenesis in the neurons participates in the pathological process after cerebral ischemia/reperfusion, resulting in metabolic disturbance and cell apoptosis .This paper reviews the research progress of mitochondrion and cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury .
7.Incision choice of nipple-areola complex-sparing mastectomy
China Oncology 2016;26(5):367-371
With the development of surgical techniques, the use of nipple-areola complex (NAC)-sparing mastectomy (NSM) has been increasing. Except for oncologic safety, the aesthetic outcome of surgery is greatly concerned by clinicians and patients. So far, there has been no consensus on the incision of NSM. This article reviewed the literature so as to provide some evidence for the selection of NSM incision.
8.Research progress of neoadjuvant therapy for borderline resectable pancreatic cancer
Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2015;(12):1341-1344
Pancreatic cancer is known as one of the most fatal malignant diseases in digestive system.Approximately 15%-20%of patients are deemed resectable at the time of diagnosis.Neoadjuvant therapy to the borderline resectable pancreatic cancer ( BRPC) has been challenged to achieve down-staging of cancer, to avoid unnecessary major operation if the pancreatic cancer progres-ses and distant metastasis develops during preoperative treatment. However, there are some controversial issues influencing the clinical decision of surgeon in managing BRPC.This manuscript reviews the current controversial issues in managing BRPC in order to enhance proper understanding for the current status and potential role of neoadjuvant therapy in managing BRPC.
9.Genus Distribution and Drug Resistance of Invasive Fungal Infections
Chinese Journal of Nosocomiology 2006;0(03):-
OBJECTIVE To study the prevalence, pathogenic characteristics and drug resistance of the invasive fungal infection to provide the reference for clinical treatment.METHODS The fungi were cultured and identified conventionally. The susceptibility test was performed by K-B disk diffusion methods. The data were analyzed by WHONET 5.3 software.RESULTS Among 232 strains of fungi, isolating rate of fungi from sputum was the highest, accounting for 74.1%.The following was urine, accounting for 17.2%.The most common organisms were Candida(96.6%)among which white Candida albicans accounted for 58.6%,following by C.tropicalis(13.8%),C.parapsilosis(10.3%),C.glablate(8.6%)and C.krusei(4.3%).Drug resistance to four commonly used antifungal drugs showed drug sensitivity to amphotericin B and itraconazole was higher, while that to fluconazole and flucytosine was lower.CONCLUSIONS Significant difference of drug resistance occurs among invasive fungus species. The cross resistance to azole antifungals is existing and has a raising tendency.
