Objective To investigated the significance of serum B7-H3 in differential diagnosis of patients with benign and malignant obstructive jaundice.Methods The B7-H3 levels in 60 patients with obstructive jaundice who were divided into benign (32 patients) and malignant (28 patients) obstructive jaundice group were tested by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay before and after operation.Results The serum B7-H3 levels of malignant obstructive jaundice group were significantly higher than that of benign group (9334.57 ± 1009.57) pg/mL vs (4450.81 ± 406.92) pg/mL,(P ＜ 0.01).The B7-H3 levels of benign and malignant obstructive jaundice group after operation were significantly lower than those before operation (2531.03 ± 415.64) pg/mL vs (4450.81 ±406.92) pg/mL,(5833.00 ± 2190.87) pg/mL vs (9334.57±1009.57) pg/mL,(P＜0.01).Conclusion B7-H3 participate in the inflammatory immune and tumor immune response,The serum B7-H3 can be used as differential diagnosis index of benign and malignant obstructive jaundice.

Objective:To evaluate the effect of Extracorporeal Shock Wave combined percutaneous injection of enhanced fibrin glue loaded bone growth factor in accelerating the bone nonunion healing and promoting osteogenesis process .Methods: 48 radius model rabbits were randomly divided into four groups.Group A rabbits were treated with ESW;Group B rabbits were treated with ESW combined with FG;Group C rabbits were treated with ESW combined with FG/rhBMP-2/rhbFGF;Group D rabbits were treated with ESW combined with FG/rhBMP-2/rhbFGF/rhVEGF.After a combination therapy of 8 week,conventional X-ray radiography,optical in-spection organization form and biomechanical test were applied to evaluate the therapeutic effect .Results:Compared with the group B , the X-ray group C showed that the fracture line was fuzzy ,bony callus area began to increased ,fracture end range reduced.The histo-morphology showed that cartilage began to form , cartilage cell began to proliferate actively , and new blood vessels were forming surrounding fibrous connective tissue.Biomechanical determination found there was no statistical significance between the two groups ( P>0.05 ).FG/rhBMP-2/rhbFGF+ESW group showed the fracture line was still fuzzy , bony callus disappeared and apparent proliferative bone trabecula ,and biomechanical results showed that there was statistical significance between the two groups compared to the group B(P<0.01).FG/rhBMP-2/rhbFGF/rhVEGF+ESW group showed the fracture line was slightly fuzzy ,apparent proliferative bone trabecula in 4 week,and in 8 week,the fracture line was disappeared and moulding of healing was good.The histomorphology showed that the distribution was filled with fibrous connective tissue and many bone tissue .Biomechanical results showed that it could resistance to bending ,there was statistical significance between the two groups compared to the group C ( P<0.01 ).Conclusion: ESW therapy combined percutaneous injection of enhanced fibrin glue loaded bone growth factor can promote fracture healing and the method of combination is expected to be a good choice of non-surgical treatment of bone nonunion.

Basal-like breast carcinoma is a phenotype of breast cancer which was sub-classified according to gene expression profiling criteria, associated with specific pathological features and biological behaviour. These cancer used to be more aggressive and characterized by the absent expression of ER/PR/CerbB-2(triple negative, TG) however positive for basal cytokeratins(basal CK). We present this review to show its pathological characters, clinical progression, prognosis and response to chemotherapy, and provide convenience for pathologists and surgical colleagues be more aware of this subtype.

Objective To investigate the effect of fluoride on expression of Runx2 mRNA and protein in bone tissue of rats. Methods Fourteen SD rats were randomly divided into two groups: control group(tap water with fluoride ＜ 0.06 mg/L), and fluorosis group(fluoride 50 mg/L in water). After 4 moths, expressions of both mRNA and protein of Runx2 in rat bone tissue were determined by RT-PCR and Western blotting. Results The results showed that the expression of Runx2 mRNA and protein in fluoride-treated bone tissue were 2.287 ± 0.261 and 0.929 ± 0.229, respectively, both of which were significantly higher than those of control group(0.995 ± 0.123,0.317 ± 0.068, t = 11.85,6.78, P ＜ 0.05). Conclusions Fluoride can increase the expression of Runx2 mRNA and protein in bone tissue of rats, and Runx2 may be involved in the pathogenesis of bone injury caused by fluoride.

Objective To investigate the biofilm formation,the alginate biosynthetic gene ex- pression and analyze the mucA gene sequence of mucoid Pseudomonas aeruginosa PA17 and nonmu- cold Pseudomonas aeruginosa PA01.Methods The modified plate culture method was used to estab lish the biofilm model in vitro.Semi-quantitative RT-PCR was used to determine the expression level of algD in planktonic condition and during the formation of biofilm.The mucA gene of PA17 and PA01 was amplified and the products were sequenced.Results PA17 biofilm was mature at 6th day, and PA01 biofilm was mature at 3rd day.The structures of the biofilms were both like pellicle.In planktonic condition,the algD expression of PAl7 was higher than PA01;in biofilm formation,the algD expression was maximal when the biofilm was mature.There was a 166～333 deletion mutation and 342A→G in mueA gene of PA17,the mucA gene of PA01 was the same with the sequence of Genbank.Conclusions The mucA gene mutation of PA17 was a new type,which maybe the reason for the little expression difference of algD between PA17 and PA01 during the biofilm formation than it in planctonic condition and the same structure of PA17 and PA01 biofilm.

Objective To analysis the clinical feaures and risk factors of recurrent intracerebral hemorrhage(ICH). Methods Analysis clinical data of 68 recurrent ICH patients and compared with those of patients with first-ever ICH. Results 43 recurrences were seen in 38 patients.The mean interval between 2 episodes was(3.9?2.8)years.The most common type of recurrence was"ganglionic-ganglionic",next was"ganglionic-thalamic",and"ganglionic-lo- bar"seldom.Most recurrences occurred contrala-terally and seldom at the same site as the first episode.In contrast to those with first-ever ICH,patients with recurrent ICH most have a hypertension and course of longer,all with a poor control.Analysis showed that the hypertension course was positively and the age of the first hemorrhage was negatively associated with the recurrence of ICH.Conclusion The risk of recurrence of ICH is relatively high within the first 4 years after the previous hemorrhage.Positively control hypertension to normal level,It will have impartant meaning to prevent occurrence of recurrent ICH.

Objective To explore the diagnostic value of ultrasound-guided aspiration biopsy in patients with unexplained refractory ascites.Methods The data of 25 cases of unexplained refractory ascites were retrospectively analyzed.For all the cases the diagnosis was based on the examination of contrast enhanced CT or ultrasound.Ultrasound-guided aspiration biopsy of locally thickened peritoneum or ti- ny masses in ascites was performed.Reults Ultrosonographic image of all cases was as follows.10 cases,with locally thickened peritone- um,were isoechoic or hypoechioc.In 2 of 10 cases contrast enhanced ultrasound examination was done,and the images were characterized by an obvious enhancement in arterial phase and quick wash-out in veinous phase.In 7 cases there was irregularly thickened peritoneum, accompanied by adhesion and caking of the omentum.Cystic formation in ascites or in peritoneum was found in 5 cases.Solid mass in asci- tes was found in 2 cases,and splenomegaly and enlarged pancreas were found in 1 case.Ultrasound-gnided aspiration biopsy was perfomed in all the patients.Among them 4 patients were operated on later.Histopathologic examination showed malignency in 20 patients.Among them,malignant peritoneal mesothelioma accoumted for 6 cases,pancreatic cystoadenoma in 2,mestastic adenocarcinoma in 9,malignant schwannoma in 1,lymphoma in 1,and histiocytoma in 1 patient.In the other 5 cases the lesion was benign,and it was verified by follow- up for about 6 months.Among them there were 3 cases of tuberculosis,1 case of inflammatory disease and 1 case of retroperitonesl fibro- sis.Conclusion Ultrasound-guided aspiration biopsy is valuable in the diagnosis of locally thickened peritoneum and tiny mass in ascitic fluid,and is valuable for diagnosis of unexplained refractory ascites.
