Obstructive jaundice is a common disease of hepatobihary surgery, including malignant and benign ones whose treatment and prognosis are obviously different.Malignant obstructive jaundice is one of the dieseases with a worse curative effect, the surgical treatment of this disorder has made much progress in recent years.however there are also some points of disagreement. This acticle reviews the advances of the preoperative preparation, radical excision and palliative drainage in the surgical treatment of malignant obstructive jaundice by reviewing the pertiment literature of China and abroad of recent years.
5.Correlation of serum vascular endothelial growth factor levels with plasma, serum and P-APR in breast cancer
Cancer Research and Clinic 2009;21(3):163-165
Objective To look for a better way to assay vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) and explore the correlation of serum VEGF levels with platelet and leucocyte count in breast cancer by comparison of peripheral blood plasma, serum and P-APR. Methods Blood samples were obtained from 42 patients with breast cancer and 20 healthy volunteers. Serum, plasma and P-APR samples were analyzed for VEGF using a commercially available sandwich ELISA, and assayed for semiquantitative measurement using microplatereader. At the same time, samples were analyzed by hematology analyzer. Results The level of VEGF in peripheral blood positively correlated to platelet (health control group: r=0.424, P=0.063) and leucocyte (health control group: r=0.443, P=0.050). The difference in VEGF values of P-APR between the localized breast cancer group and the health control group was statistically significant. Conclusion The level of VEGF in peripheral blood positively correlates to platelet and leucocyte. Platelet and leucocyte possibly secrete VEGF in vitro. Compared with serum and plasma, P-APR is the best section assaying VEGF in peripheral blood.
6.A case report of surgical resection of giant pharyngeal pleomorphic adenoma and literature review.
Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2014;28(24):1997-1998
Pleomorphic adenoma (PA) is a rare benign tumor in the pharynx. We presented a case with a huge PA in the pharynx. MRI displayed oropharyngeal mass, considering benign tumor. Preoperative fine-needle aspiration and cytology biopsy were important to confirm the diagnosis of PA preliminary. Extracapsular complete dissection for PA was performed under general anesthesia with tracheotomy subsequently. Postoperative histopathological examination confirmed the diagnosis of PA. The patient was discharged a week after operation and no recurrence was found in the following 8 months.

7.Chemotherapy and tumor immunogenic cell death
Journal of International Oncology 2017;44(5):369-372
Chemotherapy resist is the problem for clinic, and some researches find that chemotherapy with anthracycline and oxaliplatin not only induces the tumor cell apoptosis, but also the celt immunogenic cell death (ICD) by inducing the tumor cell apoptosis and releasing three kinds of signals:exposure of calreticulin on the cell surface to stimulate the dendritic cell (DC) to engulf, and the secretion of adenosine triphosphate to recruit DC to enter into tumor bed,and the release of the high mobility group B1 to promote DC to steadily bind with dying tumor cell to induce specific T cell antitumor immune response. It is with great meaning to promote the chemotherapy protocol by studying the ICD induced by chemotherapy.
8.Effect of Ghrelin on contractility of gastric smooth muscle in guinea pigs and the related mechanism
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 1981;0(03):-
Objective:To investigate and compare the influences of Ghrelin and growth hormone releasing peptide 6(GHRP-6) on the contractility of stomach smooth muscle in guinea pigs, and to study the related mechanism. Methods: The myenteric plexuses of gastric fundus and antrium in guinea pigs were stimulated with electrical field stimulation(EFS) to observe the influence of Ghrelin and GHRP-6 on the contractility of stomach smooth muscle. The influences of N-nitro-L-arginine(L-NNA) and L-Arginine(L-AA) on the effect of Ghrelin and GHRP-6 were studied to disclose the mechanism of the effects of Ghrelin and GHRP-6.Results: The circular muscle tissues of the gastric fundus generated on-relaxations and off-contractions when stimulating myenteric plexuses with 1-16 Hz electrical field;the on-responses induced relaxation could be reduced by L-NNA and the off-contractions induced contraction could be blocked by atropine and guanethidine. In fundic strips, ghrelin and GHRP-6 could decrease the on-response induced relaxation and increase off-response induced contraction of the muscle, with the effect of Ghrelin obviously stronger than that of GHRP-6.L-NNA could increase the effects of Ghrelin and GHRP-6-induced muscle contraction, and L-AA could decrease their effects. In the antral strips, electrical field stimulation of myenteric plexuses led to disappearance of relaxation wave, only leaving off-contractions.Both ghrelin and GHRP-6 could increase that contraction. Conclusion: Both ghrelin and GHRP-6 can promote the contractility of stomach smooth muscle in guinea pigs through stimulating myenteric plexuses of gastric fundus and antrium, which might be related to the NO pathway.
9.Cellular and molecular mechanisms of electrical remodeling in cardiac ventricle after myocardial infarction
Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 2000;0(11):-
Arrhythmia is common in cardiovascular diseases, especially after myocardial infarction. This article reviews the electrophysiologic changes following myocardial infarction at different phases. Modulations of ion channel function that might contribute to electrical remodeling, such as cellular (autocrine/paracrine) factors and regulators of ion channel gene, are discussed. Unresolved problems in ventricular electrical remodeling after myocardial infarction are also considered.

Objective To investigate the expression of Semaphorin 3F (SEMA3F) protein in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and to demonstrate its relationship with clinicopathological features and prognosis of HCC. Methods Western Blotting was carried out in 32 hepatocellular carcinoma samples and matched perineoplastic tissues to detect the expression of SEMA3F protein. The relationship between SEMA3F protein expression and clinicopathological features as well as prognosis of HCC patients was analyzed. Immunohistochemistry was used to show the location of SEMA3F in HCC cells and its relationship with microvessel density (MVD). Results The expression of SEMA3F protein in HCC tissues was significantly higher than in the perineoplastic tissues (447.78± 48.26 vs 618.93 ±61.23, P<0. 05) and it was correlated closely with tumor capsulation and tumor nodular number (P<0.05). Based on the Western Blotting and clinical follow-up data, we found that the survival time of HCC patients with a higher SEMA3F expression level was longer than those with a lower level, and the recurrent/metastatic time of HCC patients was significantly different between these two groups (P<0.01). Immunohistochemistry demonstrated that SEMA3F protein localized in the cytoplasm of HCC cells and its expression correlated with HCC MVD. MVD in the low-level group was higher than the high-level group (115.6±30.38 vs 86. 56±17.94, P<0.01). Conclusions SEMA3F expression in HCC was significantly down-regulated and correlated closely with tumor-capsulation, nodular number, and MVD, implicating SEMA3F may play an important role in recurrence and metastasis of HCC. It can be regarded as a prognostic marker in HCC patients.
