1.Advances in science of nutrition
Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 1981;0(04):-
Objective To analyze the development status worldwide of nutriology,so as to provide an orientation of its development in the future. Methods The professional articles published were retrieved by information research methods to predict the focal problem, and to provide the demand and presumption of nutriology development. Results In the past 5 years, some innovative concepts and technics were widely used in nutrition studies, such as nutritional genomics, nutritional proteomics and systematic biology, etc. These technologies made it possible to study the influences of nutrients on gene and protein expression, and reversely, the influences of gene changes in nutrient related disturbances in metabolism.Advances in clinical nutritional therapy provides patients with a variety of clinical treatment and the possibility of earty rehabilitation. At present, there are some problems in the fields of nutritional therapy in our country, such as a lack of resource of professional staff, imperfect education system, deficiency in understanding the importance of nutriology, and the lag of standardization and normalization of nutrition information. Conclusions The progress of nutriology in coming five years should lay stress on the parallel development of individual and nationwide health level.A series of studies in molecular biology and systematic biology will upgrade the national physical quality and the basic health condition of population nationwide.

Chinese Journal of Hospital Administration 2010;26(2):81-84
Study of the strategic objectives chosen by hospitals from the perspective of stakeholders is now under the spotlight of researchers at large. To identify whether there exist differences in strategic objectives among various groups in the hospital and probe into the causes, the author called into play the competing values framework as the analysis tool. An evidenced-based study on public hospitals in Hangzhou identified marked differences on choices of strategic objectives among various internal stakeholders in the hospital For example, hospital administrators tend to focus on internal control, while medical doctors tend to focus on interactions between the hospital and the external environment. On this basis, further studies are proposed.

AIM: To compare the chemical compositions in the expressed oil from euphorbia before and after processing.METHODS: GC-MS was used to compare the chemical compositions in the expressed oil before and after processed euphorbia.RESULTS : Tirty-four chemical compounds were detected in the expressed oil of the raw and 30 of the processed.CONCLUSION: Processing has the major effect on the chemical compositions in the expressed oil of euphorbia.

Modern Clinical Nursing 2014;(7):37-39
Objective To investigate the efficacy of low-dose retention enema for treating ulcerative colitis. Methods Eighty patients diagnosed with chronic recurrent ulcerative colitis were randomly divided into control group and observation group with equal number. The retention enema was used in the control group and the improved retention enema was used in the observation group. Enema was done once every night,10 days as a course of treatment in both groups. The two groups were compared in terms of liquid retention time, curative effect after two courses and patients’satisfaction degree with enema. Results The liquid retention time in the intestinal lumen in the observation group was significantly longer than that of the control group. The efficacy was significantly better than the control group.Patients satisfaction with enema in the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P<0.05).Conclusions The improved low-dose liquid enema is effective in the treatment of ulcerative colitis for its liquid retention time in the intestines. It is effective, comfortable, convenient, and likely to be accepted by patients.

Chinese Journal of Digestive Endoscopy 2014;31(8):439-443
Objective To evaluate the prophylactic effect of pancreatic duct stent (PPDS),NonSteroid Anti-Inflammtory Drugs (NSAIDs),and joint PPDS and NSAIDs on post endoscopic rectrograde cholangiopancreatography(ERCP) Pancreatitis(PEP) in choledocholithiasis patients. Methods A total of 200 choledocholithiasis patients were randomly divided into 4 groups, prophylactic pancreatic duct stent(PPDS) group (A),NSAIDs group (B),joint PPDS-NSAIDs group (C) and routine ERCP without prevention for PEP(group D).VAS score, levels of amylase in serum and CRP were measured before and 4 h,24 h,48 h after ERCP.Incidences of hyperamylasemia and PEP were observed. Results (1) Incidences of hyperamylasemia 48 h after ERCP were 6% (3/50),6% (3/50) and 4% (2/50) in group A,group B and group C respectively, which were significantly lower than that of group D (11/55) (P < 0.05).(2) Incidences of PEP 48 h after ERCP were both 2% (1/50) in group A and group C,which were lower than that in group D (10%,5/50,P < 0.05).Group B (4%,2/50) was lower than that of group D but there was no statistical significance(P >0.05).(3) VAS scores of all groups at 4 h,24 h and 48 h after the operation were significantly higher than before (P < 0.05).Group B score was significantly lower than that of group D (P < 0.05).Scores of group A and C at 4 h were lower than those of group D (P < 0.05),and those at 24 h and 48 h were also lower but with no statistical significance (P > 0.05).(4) Serum CRP levels at 4 h,24 h and 48 h were significantly higher than those before in each group.Serum CRP levels of group B and C were significantly lower than that of group D at 4 h,24 h and 48 h.Serum CRP level of group A was significantly lower than group D at 4 h,24 h.CRP level at 48 h of group A was lower than that of group D,but there was no statistical significance (P > 0.05).Conclusion Both prophylactic pancreatic duct stent and NSAIDs (Parecoxib Sodium) can reduce incidence of hyperamylasemia after ERCP common bile duct lithotomy.Single or joint use of prophylactic pancreatic duct stent can prevent PEP.Furthermore, prophylactic pancreatic duct stent and NSAIDs (Parecoxib Sodium) can reduce pain and inflammation after ERCP common bile duct lithotomy.NSAIDs only (Parecoxib Sodium) is more effective than prophylactic pancreatic duct stent only and joint use of both.

[Objective]To study changes of ultrastructures and respiratory function of the spinal cord mitochondrial in experimental spinal cord injury.[Method]Forty-eight SCI models in adult SD rats were built based on modified Allen's method.Mitochondria was extracted from injuried spinal cord tissue by using modified Estabrook's method at 6h,12h and 24h after SCI.Then ultrastructural changes and respiratory function, including R3,R4,RCR,P/O were observed.[Result]Ultrastructure of mitochondria was damaged greatly. The results revealed that R3、RCR and P/O of injuried spinal cord mitochondria decreased significantly after injury compared to the normal control group(P

Parenteral & Enteral Nutrition 1997;0(01):-
Obesity-related diabetes and the metabolic syndrome are significantly related to increased adipose tissue mass.Understanding of the effect of adipose tissue on the metabolic regulation will play a key role in therapeutic strategies aimed to reduce obesity-induced insulin resistance and alleviate symptoms of the metabolic syndrome.Visfatin is a novel adipokine that appears to be preferentially produced by visceral adipose tissue and has insulin-mimetic actions. We discusse the relationship between visfatin and metabolic syndrome as well as future therapeutic strategies to these diseases.
