Objective To reveal the prevalence of depressive and/or anxiety symptom and disorder in patients with awareness during general anesthesia.Methods 10 patients which had the awareness during general anesthesia were selected into AR group (awareness with recall during general anesthesia group).Face-to-face interviews were used in data collection together with the self-completed HAD scale for depressive and/or anxiety symptom screening.Subjects getting a HAD score of 9 and above were further assessed for depressive and/or anxiety disorders with HAMA scales and HAMD scales.Results The difference of common general state of patients, such as age, weigh and the time during operation were all insignificant between two groups (p>0.05).The rate of patients received general anesthesia only in AR group was higher than that in control group(p<0.05).The prevalence of depressive symptom, the prevalence of depressive or anxiety symptom and the prevalence of depressive and anxiety symptom in AR group were higher than that in control group(p<0.05).The prevalence of depressive disorder, the prevalence of depressive or anxiety disorder and the prevalence of depressive and anxiety disorder in AR group were higher than that in control group too(p<0.05).Conclusion There was high prevalence of depressive and/or anxiety symptom and disorder in patients with recall-awareness during general anesthesia.

Methods: 1152 urban and rural middle school students were measured by Multidimensional Students'Life Satisfaction Scale ( MSLSS - CV) . [Objective]To observe the effects of chronic renal failure (CRF)on hearing and investigate its mechanism.[Methods] Twenty-nine male wistar rats were randomly divided into four groups:Ⅰthe normal rats as control for 12 days (n=6); Ⅱrats given adenine(ig) for 12 days (n=8); Ⅲthe normal rats as control for 24 days (n=6);Ⅳ rats given adenine(ig) for 24 days(n=9). The rat model of CRF was produced by being perfused of adenine [300mg/kg]for 12d and 24d. Brain-stem auditory evoked potential(BAEP) was utilized to evaluate the auditory function and renal tissue morphology was observed; Serum sampling was used to determine the content of Cr, BuN. The expression of NOSⅡin the cochlear was measured by immunohistochemical technique.[Results] After adenine given for 12d or 24d, the Cr and BuN were in significant higher level than that in control group. The BAEP thresholds were gradually higher than that in control group, the BAEP delitescence prolonged. Light microscopic observation of renal tissue showed that the degree of fibrosis was gradually higher. Data of immune histochemistry about the cochlear tissue showed that the expressions of NOSⅡ were feebly positive in the cochlear vassal texture, inner-outer hairy cell and helical-ganglion cell, and following functional damage of the kidney, their expressions reinforced gradually, amongst which strongest expression was vassal texture, the next helical-ganglion cell, the last inner-outer hairy cell.[Conclusion]CRF can result in deafness. It is likely concerned with toxic effects of the metabolizable substance, the metabolizable dysfunction of the electrolyte, shortage of trace elements, etc. One of the important mechanisms of the effects of CRF on hearing is the toxic damage of NO to cochlea.

Pulmonary arterial hypertension ( PAH) is a progressive lethal vascular disease, which is characterized by pulmo-nary vasoconstriction and vascular remodeling. Recent studies have indicated that the metabolic theory, centered on the loss of mito-chondrial function, plays a key role in the occurrence and development of PAH. This theory links mitochondrial-related changes of ap-optosis-resistance, glycolysis enhancement, mROS decrease and aberrant mitochondrial dynamics to multiple molecular abnormalities, which may provide new ideas for exploring more comprehensive and specific treatment strategies. This article reviews the progresses in mitochondrial abnormality in PAH.

Objective To evaluate the value of the peripheral capillary fasting plasma glucose examined by glucometer on screening of type 2 diabetes.Methods With the proportion stratified group sampling,all residents aged 15-75 years in Wuqing district were selected and detected on their capillary fasting plasma glucose(CFPG) by clucometer,and those whose CFPG was higher than 5.0mmol/L should have a 2-hour postprandial glucose(2 h PG) test.Data were analyzed by SPSS 11.5 software.Results The detection rates of diabetes,impaired glucose tolerance and impaired fasting blood glucose were 42.83%,27.88% and 3.74%,respectively.Making two ROC curve with test variable(FPG) and state variables(2 h PG≥11.1 mmol/L and 7.8 mmol/L≤2 h PG≤11.0 mmol/L),the areas under the curve were 0.862 and 0.405,respectively.Conclusion It is suggested to use the sensitivity standard that nears to 99% FPG≥5.0 mmol/L to screen diabetes.

OBJECTIVE Discuss the diagnostic value of MDCT low-dose scan and post-processing technique in the infant non-metal foreign bodies in trachea. METHODS The CT imaging data of 48 cases in our hospital diagnosed as infant non-metal foreign bodies in trachea were analyzed. The scanning parameters of 128 slice spiral CT were 100 kV, 30-40 mA, layer thickness 0.9 mm, pitch 1.4. The obtained CT data were processed for multiplanar reconstruction (MPR), minimum density projection (Min-IP) and CT simulation endoscopy (CTVE). The results of CT and bronchial endoscopy were compared. RESULTS All of the low dose CT scanning image of the 48 cases met the diagnostic requirements. The detection rate of CT and bronchial endoscopy for foreign bodies had no statistical difference. For the three kinds of post-processing techniques, the detection rate of MPR and Min-IP had no statistical difference, but the detection rate of MPR and Min-IP were higher than that of the CTVE. CONCLUSION Spiral CT and postprocessing technique can accurately diagnose and localize the infant non-metal foreign bodies in trachea. It can clearly show the size and location of the foreign bodies in trachea. It has great practical value.

The clinical effect of acupuncture plus qigong on ulcerative colonitis was analyzed in 113 cases.They were randomly divided into electroacupuncture plus qigong group (treatment group, in short), acupmoxi group and qigong groups. The results showed that the cure rate was 77% in the treatment group, 57% in the acupmoxi group and 53% in the qigong group. A chi square test showed a significant difference ( P ＜ 0.01 ),indicating that electroacupuncture plus qigong had a marked curative effect and suggesting that early treatment can produce a satisfactory effect.
