1.Determination of Gallic Acid and Oleandic Acid in Compound Huanggen Granules by UPLC with Double-wavelength

Objective To establish an UPLC method for content determination of gallic acid and oleandic acid in compound Huanggen granules. Methods Agilent Eclipse Plus C18 column was used with the mobile phase of methanol-0.1%phosphoric acid by gradient elution. Flow rate was 0.2 mL.min-1 . Detection wavelength was set at 270 nm in the first 7 min for gallic acid and then changed to 215 nm for oleandic acid between 7 and 14 min. Results The linear concentration ranges of gallic acid and oleandic acid were 0.044 1-0.397 1 μg ( r=0.999 6,n=5) and 0.062 1-0.558 7μg ( r=0.999 8,n=5) . Their average recovery was 100. 20% ( RSD=0. 45%) and 99. 96%( RSD=0. 64%) , respectively. Conclusion The extablished method is simple,reproducible and specific, and can be use to the quality control of compound Huanggen granules.
2.Simultaneous Determination of the Content of Catalpol,Harpagide and Hapagoside in AIDS Oral Gargle by Double-wavelength UPLC

OBJECTIVE:To establish a method for simultaneous determination of the content of catalpol,harpagide and hapa-goside in AIDS oral gargle. METHODS:Dual-wavelength UPLC was performed on the column of Eclipse Plus C18 with mobile phase of acetonitrile-0.05% phosphoric acid (gradient elution) at the flow rate of 0.2 ml/min. Wavelength was switching,it was set at 210 nm to determine the contents of catalpol and harpagide in the first 8 min and then changed to 280 nm to determine the con-tent of hapagosi- de in 8-15 min. The column temperature was 30 ℃,and injection volume was 2 μl. RESULTS:The linear range was 0.018 5-0.129 2 μg (r=0.999 6) for catalpol,0.014 0-0.098 3 μg (r=0.999 7) for harpagide and 0.015 7-0.110 0 μg(r=0.999 7)for hapagoside;RSDs of precision,stability and reproducibility tests were no more than 0.77%;average recoveries were respectively 99.44%(RSD=0.75%,n=6),99.90%(RSD=0.82%,n=6) and 100.20%(RSD=0.73%,n=6). CONCLUSIONS:The method is simple can reproducible,and can be used for effectively quality control.

Type Ⅱ endometrial cancer is mainly consisted of uterine serous carcinoma and clear cell carcinoma,which possesses unique biological behavior and pathological characteristics.Its low incidence and high malignant degree result to the poor diagnosis and prognosis.Currently,the therapeutic strategy is far from being established and needs to be further study.This review will summarize the latest research of diagnosis and treatment of type Ⅱ endometrial cancer.
4.Shikonin's protective effect on acute lung injury

Acute lung injury is various pulmonary internal and external factors except cardiogenic factors caused acute progressive hypoxic respiratory failure,severe stages of its development that is acute respiratory distress syndrome.Shikonin as an effective ingredient extracted from comfrey in traditional Chinese medicine,has varieties of pharmacological effects.Based on the introduction of acute lung injury and shikonin,the protective effect of shikonin related acute lung injury are reviewed in this paper.
5.Progress in elderly patients with squamous cell lung cancer

Lung cancer has become the major reason for death from cancer of the elderly.Although a great stride has been made in the research of lung adenocarcinoma,the study on squamous cell lung cancer is still lagging behind.Chemoradiotherapy is controversial in elderly patients with locally advanced squamous cell lung cancer.The appearance and application of novel chemotherapy drugs,targeted therapy,immunotherapy and anti-vascular drugs for elderly patients have brought a hope for these patients with locally advanced squamous cell lung cancer.More researches should be designed to verify and explore the best modality of comprehensive therapy in elderly patients with squamous cell lung cancer.

7.Curative Efficacy of Methylprednisolone Combined with Doxofyllin for Bronchial Asthma

OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the curative efficacy of methylprednisolone combined with doxofyllin for acute attack of bronchial asthma. METHODS: A total of 132 patients with bronchial asthma were randomly divided into treatment group and control group: 70 cases in the treatment group were assigned to receive methylprednisolone for 3 days plus doxofyllin for 10 days in addition to the routine comprehensive therapy,and 62 in the control group to receive dexamethasone for 3 day plus aristophyllin injection for 10 days in addition to the routine comprehensive therapy. RESULTS: The total effective rate and the total clinical control rate in the treatment group were signficantly higher than in the control group (92.9% vs. 77.4% in total effective rate,P=0.019;45.7% vs.27.4% in total clinical control rate,P=0.03). Compared with the control group,the treatment group showed marked improvment in lung function and blood gas analyses yet with fewer adverse drug reactions,all showing differences between the two groups (P

10.Effects of vasoactive intestinal peptide or somatostatin on the expression of MADCAM-1 in the intestinal mucosa of rats with multiple organ dysfunction synarome

Objective To investigate the effects of somatostatin(SST)or vasoaetive intestinal peptide (VIP)on the expression of MAdCAM-1 in the intestinal muecosa of rats with multiple organ dysfunction syndrome (MODS)and its significance of prevention and treatment of MODS.Method Thirty six Wistar male rats were randomly divided into 6 groups(6 rats in each group),including control group,VIP group 1 and SST group1 (rats treated with VIP and SST respectively),MODS group(rats with MODS),VIP group 2 and SST group 2(NODS rats treated with VIP and SST respectively).The rat model of MODS(system inflammatory response syndrome,>2 or-gans dysfunction)was established by occlusion of superior mesenteric arteries.0.2 ρmol·g-1 h -11 VIP or SST by intravenous injection combined with 0.25 ρmol/g VIP or SST by intraperitoneal injection were injected into rats.In each group,intestinal lymphocytes from rats labeled with 51 Cr were infused into rat veins and were quantified with γcounter in GALT.The expression of MAdCAM-1 in the intestinal mucosa was measured by western blot.Inflam-mation in the intestinal mucosa was evaluated with histological sections.Student's t test was used to assess differ-ence between the experiment group and the control group.Results In VIP group l and SST group 1,the peak values of MAdCAM-1 expression in diffusive lymphatic tissue of small intestinal were 157.67±2.52 and 154.33±3.22.and those in Peyer patches were 136.00±1.00 and 137.00±1.00.There were no significant difference when compared with control group(165.33±1.53,152.67±2.31,P>0.05).The percentage of 51 Cr-lympho-cytes in diffusive lymphatic tissue of small intestine(1.04%±0.59%,1.01%±0.83%)showed no significant difference from control group(1.07%±0.61%,P>0.05),and those in Peyer patches(1.83%±0.90%,1.56%±0.64%)were significantly less than control group(3.85%±2.02%,P<0.05).In VIP group 2 and SST group 2,the peak values of MAdCAM-1 expression in diffusive lymphatic tissue of small intestinal(158.00±2.65,154.33±1.53)and Peyer patches(156.33±1.53.151.33±2.31)were significantly less than MODS group(175.33±2.52,173.00±2.65,P<0.05).The percentage of 51 Cr-lymphocytes in diffusive lymphafic tissue of small intestine(1.58%±0.42%,1.45%±0.26%)and Peyer patches(2.14%±1.49%,0.81%±0.35%)were significantly less than MODS group(3.23%±1.69%,5.04%±1.23%,P<0.05)and the se-vere histopathological danlage in intestine was relieved.Conclusions VIP or SST reduced intestinal lymphoeytes homing to GALT in rats with MODS through suppressing the expression of MAdCAM-1,and attenuated the inflam-matory injure in the intestinal mucosa.
