4.Surgical treatment of scirrhous gastric carcinoma
Chinese Journal of Digestive Surgery 2016;15(3):207-210
Scirrhous gastric carcinoma is a special type of gastric carcinomas and accompanied with highly interstitial fibrosis and diffuse cellular infiltration.Scirrhous gastric carcinoma is mainly composed of poor-differentiated adenocarcinoma and signet-ring cell carcinoma, with the clinical features of Borramann 4,thickening and stenosis of stomach wall, high peritoneal and lymph node metastases rates and poor prognosis.R0 resection and postoperative chemotherapy with S-1 as a main way are necessary for the patients who are able to undergo curable resection. The palliative operation should be applied to patients with ileus and urinary obstructions caused by peritoneal metastasis because of limited effect of surgical treatment.Chemotherapy is the best choice for patients who are not able to undergo curable resection, conversional therapy can improve the prognosis of patients, and preoperative S-1/CDDP combination chemotherapy is an expectable therapy. Moreover, controlling peritoneal metastasis and effect of intraperitoneal chemotherapy are much anticipated. The efficiency of molecular targeted therapy by bevacizumab and gene therapy by adenovirus remain further study.

6.Omeprazole-induced ADR:Literature Analysis of 96 Cases
China Pharmacy 2001;0(11):-
OBJECTIVE: To study the condition and the related factors of adverse drug reactions (ADR) occurred in our hospital. METHODS: A total of 75 omeprazole-induced ADR reports (96 cases) retrieved from 1996 to Mar. 2007 published in domestic medical journals were analyzed statistically. RESULTS: Omeprazole-induced ADR were mostly seen in males aged from 41 to 60, but which was independent of sex. The ADR induced by oral administration usually appeared within 3 days to 2 weeks, while those induced by injection were more often seen at 3~5 min or 3 days later. The ADR might involve multi-organs or systems, and their clinical manifestations were various and complicated, chiefly characterized by allergic reactions and hypolekocytosis, or even allergic shock in severe cases. CONCLUSION: ADR induced by omeprazole call for great attention in the clinic.
7.Experimental Study on the Antiviral Action of Emodin in Combination with Other Chinese Active Medicine Components on Coxsackie Virus B_3 Replication
China Pharmacy 1991;0(03):-
OBJECTIVE:To investigate the antiviral action of emodin in combination with other Chinese active medicine components on Coxsackie virus B3(CVB3) and explore the possible antiviral mechanism.METHODS:Hep-2 cells infected by CVB3 were cultured with different concentration and proportion of the emodin and other Chinese medicine components for 72 hours and their inhibitory effects on CVB3 replication were evaluated with cell survival rates by MTT assay.RESULTS:In the Hep-2 cell system, all the combinations between emodin and other medicine components could inhibit cytopathic effect(CPE) of CVB3-infected cells, increase cells' survival rates and decrease the cytotoxicity. The drug combination which showed the best effect of killing viruses directly was emodin:curcumine:banlangen(2:1:2),and the one showing the highest efficacy in inhibiting the replication of CVB3 in cells was emodin:curcumine:banlangen(2:0:1).CONCLUSION:The toxicity of emodin was reduced and its anti-CVB3 activity was enhanced by its combined use with other Chinese active medicine components.

OBJECTIVE:To explore the weaknesses of emergency management in PIVAS of our hospital, improve the ability to handle emergencies, and provide reference for risk management in PIVAS. METHODS:Frequency and severity of emergency events were evaluated comprehensively by the workers in PIVAS. Emergency events vulnerability was analyzed in PIVAS of our hospital by calculating risk score, classify risk degree and risk control method was developed for management. RESULTS:There were 8 serious risk emergency events,5 high-risk ones,5 moderate-risk ones,4 low-risk ones and 2 mild-risk ones in PIVAS of our hospital. The high-risk events included information system and drug dispensing machine failure, cytotoxic drugs overflow, drug delivery to wrong department, etc;risk scores of these emergency events were 129.81,109.92,102.01,86.49,respectively. Through emergency event training, standard operation, regular check and other management measures, drug delivery to wrong de-partment,cytotoxic drugs overflow, failures of equipment and information systems were decreased by 81.82%(4 times vs. 22 times),75%(1 time vs. 4 times)and 63.5%(15 times vs. 40 times),which compared between first half year of 2015 and 2014. CONCLUSIONS:Based on the results of vulnerability analysis, relevant emergency plans and training exercises in departments have been improved and the occurrence of relevant emergency events can be disposed effectively.
10.Type II collagen hydrogel-cell complexes for cartilage injury
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2016;20(38):5672-5677
BACKGROUND:As the main component of articular cartilage, type II col agen can induce bone marrow mesenchymal stem cel s to differentiate into the cartilage. However, there is no uniform standard for the preparation of type II col agen hydrogel and its usage in the repair of sports-induced cartilage injury. OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effect of type II col agen hydrogel-cel complexes in the repair of cartilage injury. METHODS:After modeling, 30 New Zealand rabbits with cartilage injury were randomized into two groups (n=15 per group):type II col agen hydrogel-bone marrow mesenchymal stem cel complexes were implanted into the injured site of rabbits in experimental group, while only type II col agen hydrogel implanted in control group. Histomorphology observation was performed by hematoxylin-eosin and toluidine blue staining after 4 and 8 weeks after implantation. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:In the experimental group, there were inflammatory cel s infiltrated at the injured site, most of which were macrophages and only a smal amount of which were neutrophils under hematoxylin-eosin staining, at 4 weeks after implantation, while toluidine blue staining showed no positive. At 8 weeks after implantation, a large amount of chondrocytes proliferated at the injured site that was repaired by chondroblasts and myotubes as wel as new vessels under hematoxylin-eosin staining, and toluidine blue staining showed the injured tissues were similar to normal tissues. In the control group, at 4 weeks after implantation, obvious interstitial edema existed, whereas skeletal muscle cel s disappeared around the injured site, and a lot of inflammatory cel s infiltrated. Several chondroblasts formed at 8 weeks, accompanied by increased fibrous tissues. Moreover, toluidine blue staining always showed no positive in the control group. To conclude, the type II col agen hydrogel-cel complex has better chondrogenic ability that can be used for cartilage repair.
