Objective To investigate the clinical effect of the MBT straight wire technique for treatment of angle class Ⅱ 1 patho-occlusion.Methods 62 cases of adult class Ⅱ division 1 patients were randomly divided into the observation group (32 cases) and the control group (30 cases).The observation group was treated with MBT straight wire appliance therapy,the control group received the traditional straight wire appliance therapy.The two groups were given cephalometric film before and after treatment,and the clinical effect was observed and recorded.Results In the observation group,there were no significant differences in SNA,SNB,ANB,LI-MP,MP-SN after treatment compared with before treatment (t =0.46,0.73,0.24,1.05,P ＞ 0.05),while there were statistically significant differences in ANB,U1-SN,U1-L1 after treatment compared with before treatment (t =1.58,6.32,7.43,P ＜ 0.05).Before treatment 7 mm of openbite,OB 2 mm after treatment,returned to normal overbite and overjet,there was statistically significant difference(t =3.26,P ＜ 0.05).The mean treatment time was (22.0 ± 2.5) months in the observation group,it was significantly lower than(3 1.0 ± 3.8)months in the control group,there was statistically significant difference (t =7.47,P ＜ 0.05).After treatment,U1-SN,U1-L1 and OB in the observation group were significantly better than those of the control group,there were statistically significant differences(t =5.47,3.43,5.41,1.67,all P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion MBT straight wire appliance has the advantages of simple operation,accurate positioning of teeth,simplified correction procedure and short treatment time,it is worth the clinical promotion.

Objective To explore the expression of Pokemon protein and p53 protein in ovarian carcinoma and assure the relationship with clinicopathologic parameters.Methods 52 cases of ovarian cancer were enrolled as the observation group,60 cases of benign ovarian tissue as the control group.Expression of Pokemon protein and p53 protein were detected by immunohistochemistry.Results The positive rate of Pokemon protein were respectively 69.2％ (36/52) in the observation group and 11.7％ (7/60) in the control group,a significant differences between the two groups (x2 =12.74,P ＜0.01).The positive rate of p53 protein were respectively 78.8％ (41/52) in the observation group and 15.0％ (9/60) in the control group,a significant differences between the two groups(x2 =22.71,P ＜ 0.01).Pokemon protein expression were associated with ovarian cancer tumor invasion depth (x2 =9.16,P ＜ 0.05),clinical stage(x2 =5.86,P ＜ 0.05),lymph node metastasis (x2 =32.28,P ＜ 0.01) and recurrence (x2 =27.08,P ＜ 0.01) and no significant relationship with tumor differentiation (x2 =0.82,P ＞ 0.05).p53 protein expression were associated with ovarian cancer tumor invasion depth (x2 =8.24,P ＜ 0.05),clinical stage (x2 =9.24,P ＜ 0.05),lymph node metastasis (x2 =19.62,P ＜ 0.01) and recurrence (x2 =21.16,P ＜ 0.01) and no significant relationship with tumor differentiation(x2 =0.77,P ＞0.05).By correlation analysis,Pokemon protein expression had a significant positive correlation and p53 protein(r =0.297,P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Pokemon protein and p53 protein had closely related with diagnosis,lesion degree and prognosis in ovarian cancer.

Objective:To observe the postoperative complications of percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)in pa-tients With coronary heart disease (CHD)and analyze its nursing methed.Methods:A total of 200 CHD patients un-dergoing PCI in our hospital from Sep 2011 to Aug 2012 Were enrolled.The postoperative complications and thera-peutic effect Were observed and analyzeits nursing methods.Results:There Were 42 cases of PCI postoperative com-plications,included 26 cases (13%)of forearm hematoma,five cases (2.5%)of errhysis and edema at puncture site,four cases (2%)of extubation syndrome,tWo cases (1%)of arrhythmia and tWo cases (1%)of pseudoaneu-rysm etc.,in Which the incidence of forearm hematoma Was the highest,compared With any other complication (P<0.05 );after direction nursing,all complications significantly improved and recovered to normal.Conclusion:Comprehensive and directive nursing can effectively prevent postoperative complications and promote rehabilitation as soon as possible in patients With coronary heart disease after percutaneous coronary intervention.

Objective To explore the clinical significance of detecting serum interleukin (IL)-6 in patients with esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC).Methods We detected the serum level of IL -6 in 35 patients with ESCC(observation group)and 35 healthy controls (control group)by double antibody sandwich enzyme -linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA),and then analyzed its clinical value.Results The serum levels of IL -6 in the observation group (27.66 ±2.30)ng/L was significantly higher than (17.72 ±3.62)ng/L in the con-trol group (t =11.63,P <0.01).There was significant difference in the serum level of IL -6 in the observation group preoperation and postoperation [(27.66 ±2.30)ng/L vs (23.62 ±3.27)ng/L,t =5.12,P <0.01].The serum level of IL -6 in the observation group preoperation was relevant with clinical stages(χ2 =11.15,P <0.01).Conclusion The change of serum IL -6 level in patients with ESCC is related to the occurrence and development of ESCC,which is an important indication for diagnosis and prognosis.

Objective:To investigate clinical value of the blood analyzer reticulocyte parameter in the diagnosis of anemia.Methods: 271 cases of anemia patients were divided into iron deficiency anemia(126 cases) and hemorrhagic anemia group(145 cases), namely the observation group; and other 50 healthy physical examinees were selected as the control group. SysmexXE-5000 automatic blood analyzer were used to detect the reticulocyte parameters, including reticulocytes(RET) ratio, high fluorescence reticulocytes(HFR) ratio of middle fluorescence reticulocytes(MFR) ratio and the immature reticulocytes(IRF) ratio.Results: Compared with the control group, the RET, HFR, MFR and IRF were significantly higher in the observation group. The sensitivity of iron deficiency anemia and blood loss anemia was 96.2% and 63.5%; the specificity of anemia was 96.0%.Conclusion: Detection of reticulocyte parameters can reflect the marrow hyperplasia patients with anemia. It has a high sensitivity and specificity in the diagnosis of various types of anemia, which has a high practical value in clinic.

Objecitve To observe the relationship between the expressions of the estrogen receptor (ER),progestogen receptor (PR) and tumor infiltration and metastasis in thyroid cancer.Methods By using immunohistochemical method to study the relationship between the expressions of ER and PR in 100 cases of thyroid carcinamas and 28 cases of benign thyroid lesions.Results The positive rates of ER and RP expression were 67 0% and 62 0% respectively in thyroid carcinomas,it had correlation with well differentiation and type of histology but positive expression did not relate to age and sex.The positive rates of ER and PR in the non-metastasized group were 75 4% and 70 5% respectively;significantly higher than that of the metastasized group which were 53 8% and 48 7% respectively (P

Objective To research and analysis the ocular health condition of Chongqing city inhabitants .Methods We col‐lected and analysised 16 548 ocular health datas of Chongqing city inhabitants that had been to our hospital for taking physical ex‐amination or other non‐ocular diseasea during 2012 to 2014 .Results The prevalence rate of the ocular disease was 22 .92% in Chongqing city inhabitants .The highest prevalence rate was the conjunctivitis among the many diseases ,the second highest one was the dry eye syndrome .Conclusion The ocular health condition of Chongqing city inhabitants still need to be improved .

Capillary leak syndrome (CLS) is a common and life-threatening disorder in children.The common pathogenies are sepsis,severe trauma,shock,asphyxia,extracorporeal circulation,ischemical reperfusion injury and so on.It is characterized by shock resulting from leakage of plasma,which is refected by accompanying hemoconcentration,hypoalbuminemia and edema,sometimes followed by multiple organ dysfunction syndrome.Clinicians should consider the diagnosis in patients with unexplained edema and hypotension.To know the pathophysiology and clinical course will be benefit to proper medicine choosen.

Objectives: To find out influencing factors of quality of life(QOL) of staffs in Centers for Disease Prevention and Control(CDC),whose results would be taken as theoretical evidence for government policy-makers to work out strategy of health human resources.Methods: The WHO Quality of Life Brief Scale(WHOQOL-BREF) was employed as the assessing tool for staffs of CDC who were in a city and its neighborhood counties.Each subject was asked to complete a spot self-assessment.Results: There is no significant difference of QOL of staffs between city and neighborhood county.Working at different departments was one of the influencing factors on psychological and social domains.Harmonious family relationship,good appetite,agreement to work competition,and confidence in working institutes were influencing factors to the total score of QOL.Conclusions: Scores of QOL of CDC staffs were relatively low with various influencing factors.It is necessary for leaders of related departments to take countermeasures to improve the QOL of CDC staffs.

To create a novel kind of orthosis to correct the dysfunction of antebrachium, wrist, metacarpus and digit and to facilitate the protection and functional training after injury of forearm and hand. The orthosis is constituted of a cardinal shelf, a stem shelf of metacarpophalangeal joint, a front bracket, finger ferrules, elastic strings and steel wires. The cardinal shelf is composed of a backplate for dorsal palm and a bracket for wrist with a U-shaped rack fixed in front of it. Ferrules of index finger, middle finger and fourth finger and little finger are connected to the backplate on the cardinal shelf through elastic strings. The thumb ferrule is set outside the ferrule of index finger on the backplate with steel wires. Another ferrule that is used to enclose the wrist and antebrachium is linked to the crossbar of the U-shaped rack through elastic strings. This orthosis plays an effective role in the protection of nerves, tendons, extremity of vascular anastomosis and the prevention of allotopia after fracture due to different trainings. It can improve the range of motion of wrist joint, metacarpophalangeal joint, and articulationes interphalangeae and strengthen the muscle power of pronator teres, pronator quadratus, supinator, wrist extensor, wrist flexor, extensor digitoium, perforans manus and musculus flexor digitorum sublimes. This orthosis could be applied for patients after the operation of antebrachium,wrist and manus to promote the recovery of their functions.
