1.THE STUDY OF HYPOGLYCEMIC EFFECT AND ITS MECHANISM OF VANADATE ON STKEPTOZOTOCIN-DIABETZC RATS
Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 1985;0(02):-
Sodium orthovanadate is one of vanadate salts. When administered orally to STZ-induced diabetic rats, sodium orthovanadate may stimulate glucose uptake and. metabolism and made them normoglycemic. However, the blood glucose levels of normal rats treated with sodium orthovanadate did not change despite their plasma insulin levels decreased. The insulin-like effect of sodium orthovanadate on carbohydrate metabclism was not due to direct stimulation of insulin secretion, because the plasma insulin concentration of vanadate-treated STZ-rats remained lower and insulin secretion of isolated pancreas perfused with solution containing sodium orthovanadate was smilar to that of controls.
2.Axillary reverse mapping in surgical treatment of breast cancer
Journal of International Oncology 2015;42(11):849-851
Axillary reverse mapping (ARM) is anatomic theoretical foundation based on breast and upper limb lymph axillary lymph injected into different lymphatic populations, ARM can display upper limb lymphatic channels through different tracers during the periods of axillary lymph node dissection and sentinel lymph node dissection, to reduce the rate of postoperative upper extremity edem.Although ARM has a positive effect, it exists a controversy in safety and the relationship between its node and sentinel lymph node.
3."Study on the ""Quhan"" in Traditional Chinese Medicine Processing"
Journal of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University 2016;40(3):189-190
Objective] Study on the exact meaning of Quhan in traditional Chinese medicine processing. [Methods] Based on studying the ancient and modern Chinese literature, with Sichuan pepper as the breakthrough point, we can analyze Quhan method of processing and the role. [Results] The process of Quhan is a component of the water or oil that is contained in the internal drug, which is transferred to the surface of the drug by frying or heap stuffy, it can not simply be regarded as to remove the water or oil from the drug. A correct understanding of Quhan is practically significant for people to master some of the traditional Chinese medicine processing degree and improve the treatment result of the drug instead of removing the water or oil from the drug. [Conclusion] Quhan is the method that the liquid substance is free to the surface of traditional Chinese medicine processing, which can make the drug's effect better.
4.MEASUREMENT OF LACTOFERRIN IN HUMAN MILK AND NEONATAL FAECES AND EXPLORATION OF RELATION BETWEEN THEM
Acta Nutrimenta Sinica 1956;0(03):-
The concentrations of lactoferrin (LF) in colostrum during the first 8 days and mature milk during the first 4 months of postpartum were determined by electroimmunodiffusion. Meanwile a sensitive enzyme linked imm-unosorbent assay for measurements of LF in neonatal faeces were established. The results showed that human milk, especially colostrum, was rich in LF. The colostrum contained 6.88 ? 3.10mg/ml (M?SD) aad mature milk 3.18 ? 0.37mg/ml LF. LF in human milk was the highest during the first 3 days of lactation with a decline in concentration as lactation proceeds although a wide variation in concentration was noted among different individuals.LF in neonatal faeces showed significant difference in different feeding manners. LF level in the breast-fed infants was 19 times higher than that in the bottle-fed infants. The LF percentage detected in the former was 100% and the latter only 60%. The dynamic variations of LF in faeces of breast-fed infants during the first day of life were found to be relative to LF level in mother'milk. These data demonstrated the influence of high LF level in mother'milk on the concentrations of LF in breast-fed infants' intestine.Furthermore a few amounts of LF was found in meconium and its percentage detected was 35%. This suggested that the production of endogenous LF began from foetus period, but was limited during the first day of life. LF ingested by the breast-fed infants were not completely destroyed and thus may supplement the insufficiency of the endogenous LF in the newborn infants' intestinal tract.
5.Revised Tongxie Yaofang Treat 57 Cases Diarrhea-type Intestinal Irritable Syndrome
Journal of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University 2006;0(03):-
ObjectiveTo explore the effective method of intestinal irritable syndrome(IBS). Method Randomly divide 57 cases into 2 groups, Chinese drug group 28 cases were treated with Tongxie Yaofang; the combination group 29 with revised Tongxie Yaofang and chlorimipramine, for 4 weeks.Result The gastro-intestinal symptoms were relieved markedly for both groups; after treated for 14 and 28 days, there’s no statistical difference between the both groups on reduction rate of patients’ SDS; at the 28~ th day, there’s no obvious difference on the symptoms of abdomen pain and diarrhea in both groups. Conclusion Tongxie Yaofang can effectively treat IBS. The relieving of depression may not be related with chlorimipramine.
6.Treatment outcomes of human epidermal stem cells/porcine acellular dermal tissue-engineered skin in the repair of full-thickness skin defects
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2017;21(2):227-231
BACKGROUND:Biological artificial skin made by fibroin, connective tissues, biopolymer materials, synthetic polymeric material, nano materials as wel as sensor and non-biological artificial skin both have achieved satisfactory effects in clinical trials, but there is stil a significant difference from the natural skin. OBJECTIVE:To investigate the treatment outcomes of epidermal stem cel s/porcine acel ular dermal tissue-engineered skin for ful-thickness skin defects in rats. METHODS:Twenty Sprague-Dawley rats were selected to make the skin defect model on the rat back, and then randomly divided into experimental and control groups, fol owed by subjected to the implantation of human epidermal stem cel s/porcine acel ular dermal tissue-engineered skin and porcine acel ular dermal matrix, respectively. Gross, histological and immunohistochemical observations were performed at 4 weeks after implantation.RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Gross observation:the wound in the experimental group healed wel , and the skin had good elasticity;the control group showed scar formation in the implanted site and the texture was hard. Histological observation:there were good epidermal and dermal structures under microscope in both groups, and the basal layer, stratum corneum and stratum corneum of the epidermis could be distinguished clearly. Compared with the experimental group, more fibrous connective tissue could be found in the control group. Immunohistochemical observation:the wound surface in the experimental group was positive for the anti-HLA class I antigen, while the wound surface in the control group negative for the anti-HLA class I antigen. These findings suggest that the human epidermal stem cel s/porcine acel ular dermal tissue-engineered skin can effectively inhibit the scar formation and contracture in the repair of ful-thickness skin defects.
7.Preliminary Study on “Shanghuo”Connotation,Expression and Its Application of the Chinese Medicine
Journal of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University 2015;(6):430-432,435
OObjective] Study on“Shanghuo”connotation, expression and its application of the Chinese medicine.[Method] Based on studying the ancient literature,we can define the“Shanghuo”disease concept according to the anatomical site at the head part, pathogenesis with“Shanghuo”pathological features; We can summarize the specific words of“Shanghuo”disease expression according to a variety of pathogenesis. [Results]The common terms of“Shanghuo”disease include“Shangchong”“Chongshang”“Shangyan”“Yanshang”“Shangfu”“Shanggong”“Shangyue”“Huoyan”“Huosheng”“Shengyan”“Shangzhuo”“Shangteng”“Shangxing”,they are thirteen kinds. The category of“Shanghuo”disease includes“epistaxis”“toothache”“sore throat”“aphtha”“ kakostomia”“tongue pain”“tinnitus”“headache”“facial acne”and more than 30 species.Clearing-heat and nourishing-yin is not the only treatment for“Shanghuo”being divided into Yinhuo and Yanghuo. [Conclusion]“Shanghuo”disease is generally expressed through the specific words, the latter is intrinsically linked with the fire of different organs, the different parts of disease and the nature of disease.Treatment of“Shanghuo”should be based on syndrome differentiation.
8.The relation of high sensitive C-reactive protein and blood pressure variability in primary hypertension
Chinese Journal of Postgraduates of Medicine 2008;31(13):34-36
Objective To explore the relation of high sensitive C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) and blood pressure variability(BPV) in primary hypertension. Methods Sixty-four patients with primary hypertension were divided into target organ damaged (TOD)group and no TOD group. Ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM) was performed and BPV was assessed by coefficient of variation (CV) . Sixty-four patients were divided into higher CV group and lower CV group. Thirty controls were admitted into control group. The level of hs-CRP was measured. Results The systolic CV and the levels of hs-CRP was significandy different in TOD group [(16.12±2.17)%, (7.11±1.04)mg/L]and no TOD group [(13.30±2.64)%, (4.67±1.24)mg/L) ],compared with that in control group [(10.68±2.19)%, (1.68±1.49)mg/L]. The levels of hs-CRP were significantly different in higher CV group (n=32), and lower CV group(n = 32), compared with that in control group. Conclusion Inflammation may be involved in the occurrence and development of BPV.
9.VEGF and Notch pathways in tumor angiogenesis
Journal of International Oncology 2009;36(11):818-821
VEGF and Notch signaling pathways are important mechanisms in regulation of embryonic vascular development and tumor angiogenesis.Blockade of the VEGF pathway effectively inhibits tumor anglo- genesis and growth.Recent findings indicate that Notch signaling decreases angiogenesis by suppressing endo-thelial tip cell formation.Combination therapy by blocking Notch and VEGF pathways synergistically inhibits tumor growth in preclinical models. Thus, targeting VEGF and Notch pathways may lead to new therapies for clinical application.
10.Hand ,foot and mouth disease in mainland China: an update on epidemic situation, diagnosis and treatment
Chinese Pediatric Emergency Medicine 2011;18(1):1-3
Hand, foot and mouth disease has become more widespread in mainland China in recent years and has shown an increasing trend in the annual prevalence, which has attracted considerable attention as a major public health problem. Enterovirus 71 (EV71) and coxsackievirus A16 (Cox A16) are major pathogens. Ninety-five percent of severe patients and death cases were younger than 3 years old. Unfortunately, there is no effective anti-enteroviral drug for hand, foot and mouth disease, therefore symptomatic treatment and supportive care remain as the mainstream therapy. Intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG) is expected to be used in recent clinical trials, but its efficacy remains to be seen. Glucocorticoid therapy is still controversial in critical cases. EV71 vaccine is under development; however, it takes time to launch a mass vaccination. Multidisciplinary prospective, multicentral study is essential to control the spread of hand, foot and mouth disease and to tackle the problems of diagnosis and treatment.
