3.Analysis of infections after pediatric liver transplantation
International Journal of Pediatrics 2011;38(4):383-386
Liver transplantation rapidly has become the best choice for pediatric patients with end-stage and metabolic liver disease, since the first liver transplantation succeeded in 1989. In pediatric liver transplantation, significantly improved short-term and long-term survival is attributed to advances in surgical techniques and reasonable immunosuppression regimens in the last 20 years. However, postoperative infections, which remain the most common complication following pediatric liver transplantation, severely affect posttransplantation morbidity and mortality. This paper summarizes the infections after liver transplantation in children and rational drug use.
4.Clinical Observations on Primary and Connecting Point Combination Acupuncture for the Treatment of Depression
Shanghai Journal of Acupuncture and Moxibustion 2015;(10):976-977
ObjectiveTo investigate the clinical efficacy of primary and connecting point combination acupuncture in treating mild and moderate depression.MethodPatients meeting the inclusion criteria were randomly allocated to observation and control groups. Both groups of enrolled patients took fluoxetine hydrochloride (Prozac). The observation group received meridian-unblocking acupuncture at yuan-primary points and luo-connecting points and the control group, acupuncture at routinely selected points in the eleventh-five textbook. Treatment was given for four consecutive weeks. The Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD) 24-item score was recorded in the patients before and after one month of treatment. The therapeutic effects were evaluated according to the score reduction rate in the two groups.ResultThere wasa statistically significant post-treatment difference in the HAMD 24-item score between the two groups (P<0.05). The total efficacy rate was83.3% in the treatment group and70.0% in the control group. There was a statistically significant post-treatment difference in therapeutic effect between the two groups (P<0.05). ConclusionMeridian-unblocking acupuncture at yuan-primary points and luo-connecting points is more effective than conventional acupuncture in proving the symptoms in patients with mild or moderate depression.
5.Understanding of ACG Clinical Guideline:Diagnosis and Management of Idiosyncratic Drug-induced Liver Injury
Chinese Journal of Gastroenterology 2015;(4):193-198
The American College of Gastroenterology( ACG)released the first clinical guideline for drug-induced liver injury( DILI)in June,2014:the diagnosis and management of idiosyncratic drug-induced liver injury( IDILI), which includes all aspects of IDILI,such as risk factors, diagnosis, differential diagnosis and treatment. The guideline discusses especially the issues on herbal and dietary supplements( HDS)induced liver injury and DILI in patients with chronic liver disease. The guideline is of great value for standardizing the clinical diagnosis and treatment, providing the best recommendations for management of the patients with DILI. Since the evidence of research in the field of DILI is relatively weak at this moment, the clinicians should consider the possible individual difference of the patients under the frame of guideline for making the best clinical decision.

8.STUDIES OF ISOLATION, PURIFICATION AND IODINATION OF ?-BUNGAROTOXIN
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 1981;0(04):-
The isolation purification, iodination and identification of a-Bungarotoxin(a-BTX)were recorded.Purified a-BTX was prepared from the venom of Hunan Bu-ngarus multicinctus (Blyth) by CM-Sephadex C~50 ionexchange chromatography and Sephadex G~25 chromatography. The homogeneous a-BTX was obtained by rechromatography of purified ct-BTX (fraction 3) on a CM-Cellulose CM-32, and was labelled with 1251 by chloramine-T method. The 1251-?-BTX was then separated from Na125I and purified by Sephadex G-25 column. The results yield a specific activity of 90~100 Ci/mM.40~50% labelling.40~60% recovery of protein and less than 3 % contamination with free iodine in 125I-?-BTX.The purified a-BTX was identified by determining its N-terminal amino acid, amino acid composition, isoelectric and polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis.Biological activity of the ?-BTX was determined by its toxicity to mice, its neuromuscular blocking action and binding to acetylcholine receptors at the motor entplate of the rat diaphragm.
9.Importance of magnetic resonance imaging in the evaluation of newborn infants with central nervous system infection
Chinese Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2016;31(14):1052-1058
There are more complicated pathological changes in the developing brain with invasive infection of central nervous system(CNS) which absolutely play predominant role in neurodevelopmental disability and mortality in spite of a lower prevalence during neonatal period.Bacterial meningitis demonstrated by cerebrospinal fluid(CSF) culture only remain difficult since poor positive findings,in the severe condition more complications could be often found such as vasculitis, ventriculitis, cerebritis and abscess.Cerebral abscess could be found independently without abnormal CSF examination;while the cerebritis is one of the primary pathological changes in viral invasive infection of CNS,Enterovirus/human parechovirus often involved not only grey matter, but also the periventricular and subcortical white matter that sound similar to the findings of periventricular leukomalacia on magnetic resonance imaging(MRI).Finding the complications of CNS infections early and accurately describe pathological changes by reasonable using MRI can enhance the therapy and predictive ability.
