1.Treatment of Shoulder Impingement Syndrome by Tuina and Acupuncture plus Functional Training: A Report of 40 Cases
Journal of Acupuncture and Tuina Science 2008;6(1):56-57
Acupuncture and Tuina plus functional training were used to treat forty cases of shoulder impingement syndrome. Twenty-seven cases were cured clinically, accounting for 67.5%; 9 cases had marked effectiveness, accounting for 22.5%; 3 cases had effectiveness, accounting for 7.5%; 1 case obtained no effect, accounting for 2.5%; the total effective rate was 97.5%.
2.An application of the S-P Chart analysis in examination item exam on fundamental nursing
Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2014;30(19):69-72
Objective To obtain a two-dimensional evaluation result of the quality of examination paper on fundamental nursing and the students' performance,so as to find the weakness and problems in teaching and learning, and to put forward some suggestions. Methods With the S-P chart analytic system which was designed by using the technology of Excel VBA,we made an analysis of 164 papers of fundamental nursing. Results Both the P-curve and S-curve were in the lower right corner. There wasn't any long vertical line in P-curve.There wasn't any long horizontal one in S-curve either.Caution index of 4 questions and 15 students exceed 0.75.The totality difficulty index of the paper was 0.79.The suitability index was 0.43.The stability index was 0.48.Conclusions Propositional contents about physician orders management, gastric lavage, administering medication, observation of disease and pain need to be reformed into both wide coverage and clear focuses. There are no faults in students' grades.Different learning levels do exist, but with little difference.S-P chart affords multiplex and huge amount of information. Its graphics and parameters help to analyze both the students' and teachers' performance from the macroscopic and microcosmic angle,so as to make teachers self-reflective on teaching fundamental nursing and producing papers from various aspects.
3.Application of phototherapy and its related problems on neonatal hyperbilirubinemia
International Journal of Pediatrics 2013;(3):272-274
Phototherapy is the most common and effective method to intervene and treat neonatal hyperbilirubinemia in clinic. The application of phototherapy varies from gestational age, birth weight, age and many other factors.Beside the traditional phototherapy instruments, more advanced high-intensive phototherapy instruments are applied to phototherapy. With the increasing application of phototherapy, many problems have showed up.This paper reviews based on the research of the indication, clinical application and adverse reactions on phototherapy.
4.Ureteral development related gene in molecular biology
International Journal of Pediatrics 2013;(3):275-277
Congenital pelvi-uretedc junction obstruction in children with congenital hydronephrosis is the most common etiology, but its pathogenesis is poorly understood in the past. With the development and application of genetic molecular biology techniques, the development of the ureter is clarified from molecular biological mechanism, and people have more in-depth understanding of the occurrence of the pelvi-ureteric junction obstruction at the level of gene molecular biology.
5.Efficacy comparison of lamivudine and telbivudine combined with hepatitis B vaccine in blocking vertical transmission of hepatitis B virus
Chinese Journal of Postgraduates of Medicine 2015;38(1):41-43
Objective To compare the efficacy of lamivudine and telbivudine combined with hepatitis B vaccine in blocking vertical transmission of hepatitis B virus (HBV) in pregnant women with HBV infection during late stage of pregnancy. Methods From January 2010 to December 2013,195 pregnant women with HBV infection who received prenatal examination and institutional delivery were enrolled and randomized into three groups based on random number table method, lamivudine group, telbivudine group and control group,65 cases in each group. The subjects in lamivudine group and telbivudine group orally took lamivudine 100 mg/d and telbivudine 600 mg/d respectively, from the 28th week of gestation to 1 month after delivery. The primary end point was HBsAg positivity of infants at 12 months of age. Results Serum lgHBV DNA level of mothers in lamivudine group was 3.7 ± 1.2,and in telbivudine group was 3.6 ± 1.5,in control group was 8.4 ± 1.7.The serum lgHBV DNA level of mothers in lamivudine group and telbivudine group was significantly lower than that in control group (P < 0.01).HBsAg positivity rate of infants at 12 months of age in lamivudine group was 3.1%(2/65),in telbivudine group was 4.6%(3/65),and in control group was 15.4% (10/65).HBsAg positivity rate of infants at 12 months of age in lamivudine group and telbivudine group was significantly lower than that in control group (P < 0.05).Conclusion Lamivudine and telbivudine are both effective in preventing vertical transmission of HBV for pregnant women with HBV infection in late stage of pregnancy, and further clinical study is required.
6.Treatment of Postoperative Uroschesis by Acupuncture in 58 Cases
Journal of Acupuncture and Tuina Science 2003;1(3):37-38
Treated 58 patients (32 males and 26 females) with postoperative uroschesis by acupuncture.Therapeutic results were excellent in 33 cases, good in 22 cases, and ineffective in 3 cases.
7.Research advances in the relationship between prolactin and spontaneous abortion.
Journal of Integrative Medicine 2012;10(1):7-12
Spontaneous abortion is one of the most common gestational conditions, with the morbidity of 1% to 5% in married women. It is a serious problem troubling women at the reproductive age. There are many factors causing spontaneous abortion, among them, spontaneous abortion resulting from endocrine abnormalities can be detected and treated. Prolactin is a major endocrine hormone participating in reproductive regulation and playing an important role in early pregnancy implantation and pregnancy maintenance. When there are unusual levels it is closely related to spontaneous abortion, leading to a necessity to further study the relationship between them. International and domestic research developments in recent years about the correlation between prolactin and spontaneous abortion are discussed in this paper.
8.Pay attention to insulin resistance in chronic liver diseases.
Journal of Integrative Medicine 2010;8(1):1-6
Insulin resistance exists in various chronic liver diseases such as fatty liver disease, liver cirrhosis, hepatitis, etc. Insulin resistance not only participates in the development of chronic liver diseases but also affects the efficacy of drug treatment. Paying more attention to diagnosis and treatment of insulin resistance will enhance the therapeutic effect and improve the prognosis of the patients. Traditional Chinese medicine has displayed its characteristics and advantage in treating insulin resistance. Investigation to chronic liver diseases based on lifestyle interference, exploration of the syndrome mechanism of insulin resistance, and scientific evaluation of the efficacy of Chinese herbal prescriptions will contribute to the research of traditional Chinese medicine in preventing and treating insulin resistance in chronic liver diseases.
10.Analysis of difficulties in patient satisfaction evaluation
Chinese Journal of Hospital Administration 2008;24(7):437-440
Patient satisfaction evaluation is an important approach in hospital management. Since the health services have traits of service, specialty and some extent of public welfare, patient satisfaction evaluation meets doubts about the reliability of its results and the effectivity of its application in hospital management practice. The paper summarizes the difficulties in patient satisfaction evaluation from perspectives of theory, institution and technology, and puts forward some suggestions on improving the reliability of evaluation results and enhancing the effectivity of application of evaluation results.
