Chinese Journal of Anesthesiology 1995;0(10):-
Objective To investigate the protective effects of cardiomyopeptidin (CMP) pretreatment against hippocampal neuronal injury caused by anoxia-reoxygenation and the underlying mechanism. Methods Hippocampal neurons were isolated from neonatal SD rats and cultured for 9-10 days. The cultured primary hippocampal neurons were randomly divided into 4 groups: ( I ) control group; ( II ) anoxia-reoxygenation group (A-R); (I) CMP 10?g?ml-1 group (CMP1) and (IV) CMP 100 ?g?ml-1 group (CMP2). In A-R group hippocampal neurons were subjected to 4 h anoxia (cultured in 95 % N2 + 5 % CO2 ) and 48 h reoxygenation (cultured in aerobic environment). In group III and IV CMP was added to culture media with end-concentration of CMP 10 ?g?ml-1 or 100?g?ml-1 before oxygen-deprivation. Neuronal viability was assessed by MTT method and Bcl-2 protein expression was determined by immune-cytochemistry.Results The optical density (OD) value of hippocampal neurons and the Bcl-2 expression were significantly higher in group IV (CMP2) than those in group Q (A-R) and III (CMP1) (P

China Pharmacy 2015;(28):3889-3891,3892
OBJECTIVE:To evaluate technology innovation capability of pharmaceutical industry in 30 provinces(regions and cities)and explore suitable innovation mode for each type. METHODS:The entropy method was adopted to establish comprehen-sive evaluation mode of technology innovation capability of pharmaceutical industry. The mode was used to measure comprehensive score and ranking of pharmaceutical industry in 30 provinces(regions and cities). Those 30 provinces(regions and cities)were di-vided into 3 types, including high technology innovation ability (type Ⅰ),medium technology innovation ability (type Ⅱ) and low technology innovation ability (type Ⅲ),and relevant suggestions on innovation mode were put forward. RESULTS & CON-CLUSIONS:According to the establishment of evaluation index system that included innovation resources input capability,innova-tion output capability, innovation potentiality and innovation environment, significant differences were found among these regions in technology innovation capability. For those 8 provinces (regions and cities) with high technology innovation ability, such as Shandong,Jiangsu and so on,which belongs to the type Ⅰ,local pharmaceutical enterprises should adopt the innovation mode of independent innovation dominant, cooperative innovation as a supplement;for those 9 provinces(regions and cities)with medium technology innovation ability, such as Hebei,Sichuan and so on,which belongs to the type Ⅱ,local pharmaceutical enterprises should select the mode of cooperative innovation of the combination of production, teaching and research;for those 13 provinces (regions and cities) with low technology innovation ability, such as Hainan,Ningxia, which belongs to the type Ⅲ,should the mode of giving priority to imitation innovation and cooperative innovation as a supplement.

Among the theories supporting the increase of incidence of allergy during the last several decades is the concept that environmental pollutants may play a vital role. The present review reported the effect of different types of pollutants on the development, modulation and persistence of allergic reactions. It analyzed how pollutants including ozone, nitrogen dioxide and particulate materials contribute to allergy directly and indirectly. It reviewed several possible mechanisms involved in the enhancement of allergic inflammation by air pollutants. Finally, it made a delineation of many factors affecting allergy, which could provide useful information on the prevention of allergy.

Objective To study the relationship between hyperhomocysteinemia and intracranial and extracranial vascular stenosis in patients with ischemic cerebrovascular disease. Methods 405 patients with ischemic cerebrovascular disease were chosen to detect their serum homocysteine(Hcy) concentrations using automatic biochemical analyzer by enzymatic cycle detection, and the levels of serum folate and Vitamin B12 were detected .The intracranial vascular were detected by Transcranial Doppler, and the extracranial vascular were detected by Color Doppler. The internal carotid arteries(ICA) were classified as normal, mild stenosis(95%). Results Mean serum Hcy concentrations were significantly higher in patients with stenosis of intracranial or (and) extracranial vascular than that in the patients with no arterial stenosis (P0.05). The serum Hcy concentrations were different significantly in patients with different severities of the ICA stenosis and the MCA stenosis (all P0.05). The serum Hcy concentrations were positive correlation with severities of the ICA stenosis and the MCA stenosis(r=0.356, P

Chinese Journal of Health Statistics 2017;34(4):550-553
Objective To learn quality of life of acute upper respiratory tract infection patients and their influence factors. Methods We conducted questionnaire investigation on acute upper respiratory tract infection patients from five hospitals, respectively located in Wuhan,Hefei and Jinhua. The scale we used is EQ-5D.We calculated EQ-5D score through three different integration systems, which are from China,Korea and the UK,in order to compare difference among different countries' integration systems. Then econometric model was used to carry out regression analysis on factors affected EQ-5D score. Results 659 samples was included, with 319 from Wuhan,235 from Hefei and 105 from Jinhua.Among EQ-5D five dimensions, the first three dimensions do not have problems.However,81.94% of the patients have problems in pain/discomfort and 47.8% of them have problems in anxiety/depression.In regression analysis, location, severity level of disease and whether accompanied by chronic diseases or not have influence on EQ-5D score.Compared with utilities of patients who are suffered from other diseases, utilities of acute upper respiratory tract infection patients are lower than that of cerebral apoplexy, hypertension, coronary heart diseaseand diabetes patients;but are higher than that of Chronic lymphatic filariasis, chronic obstructive pneumonia and rheumatoid arthritis patients. Conclusion Chinese acute upper respiratory tract infection patients mainly have problems in the dimension of pain/discomfort and anxiety/depression.Compared to British integration system,Korean's is more applicable to Chinese population.Acute upper respiratory tract infection patients' utilities are lower than that of healthy population and chronic invalids with no obvious symptoms, and higher than that of chronic invalids with obvious symptoms.

Chinese Journal of Anesthesiology 1994;0(05):-
Objective To investigate the effects of propofol on the survival rate of and the expression ofinducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) in the cultured hippocampal neurons. Methods Hippocampal neuronsisolated from new-born SD rats were dispersed and cultured in B27 culture medium for 9-10days.The culturedhippocampal neurons were randomized to one of 4 groups: (1)control group; (2) anoxia group; (3)propofol 4?g?ml~(1) + anoxia group; (4) propofol 12 ?g?ml~(-1)+ anoxia group. For anoxia the cultured hippocampal neurons wereplaced in a tightly closed vessel filled with 95 % N_2~5% CO_2 at 37℃ for 4h,followed by 24 h reoxygenation. Inthe propofol groups (group 3 and 4) propofol was added before anoxia. Survival rates were measured by MTTassay The levels of iNOS expression were determined by immunocytochemistry method. Results In the twopropofol groups (group 3 and 4) propofol attenuated the levels of iNOS expression in the cultured hippocampalneurons and increased the survival rates as compared with anoxia group (group 2). Depofol reduced the levels ofiNOS expression in a concentration-dependent manner. Conclusion Propofol can decrease the level of iNOSexpression in cultured hippocampal neurons induced by anoxia-reoxygenation and increase the survival rate ofhippocampal neuron after anoxia-reoxygenation. Inhibition of iNOS expression may explain partly the mechanism ofcerebral protective effects of propofol.
