Objective To investigate the value of MR 3D CUBE T2WI sequence in displaying anatomical structure of knee joint.Methods Sixty cases of knee joints (30 cases in lesion group and 30 cases in control group) were scanned with conventional 2D and 3D CUBE T2WI sequence by HDXt 3.0T superconducting magnetic resonance of GE Signa imaging system and hased-array coil.The meniscus,articular cartilage,anterior and posterior cruciate ligaments demonstrated by two sequences were evaluated as excellent,good and poor grade,the results were comparatively analyzed by statistics.Results 3D CUBE T2WI was superior to conventional 2D sequence in displaying of articular cartilage,anterior and posterior cruciate ligaments,and inferior to conventional 2D sequence in displaying of meniscus(all P =0.000).When we put excellent and good levels of image quality as according with diagnostic requirement.The satisfaction rate demonstrating anterior and posterior cruciate ligaments by 3D CUBE T2WI sequence in lesion and control group were 100％,articular cartilage was 93.33％ in control group and 90.00％ in lesion group,while the meniscus was 30.00％ in control group and 33.33％ in lesion group.Conclusion MR 3D CUBE T2WI sequence is a sensitive technique in demonstrating ligaments and articular cartilage of knee joint,but it was inferior to conventional 2D sequence in displaying of meniscus.We should adopt it according to clinical diagnosis.

Objective To study serum levels of interleukin-4,10,interferon-g amma,tumor necrosis factor alpha and soluble interleukin-2 receptor in patients with pemphigus, and their correlation with disease severity. Methods Serum leve ls of different cytokines were determined by double antibody sandwich enzyme-li nked immunosorbent assay in 31 patients with pemphigus in acute and remission st ages, and in 15 normal controls. Serum autoantibody titer was determined by indi rect immunofluorescent assay (IIF). The severity of disease was recorded by the Rule of Nine for the calculation of burn surface area. Results IL-10 level was lower in the sera of patients in their acute stage than that of controls(P0.05). Conclusion There are abnormalities of serum levels of cytokine s in patients with pemphigus. Serum levels of IL-10, sIL-2R and IFN-?are cor related with the severity of the disease.

Objective:To investigate the effects of Zhitaiqing Granule on aortic endothelial cells in rabbit with experimental atherosclerosis. Objective To investigate the effect of signal transducers and activators of transcription 3(STAT-3)on sen-sitizing oral squamous cell carcinoma to cis-dichlorodiamineplatinum via downregulating miRNA-21. Methods Tscca and Tca8113P160 human tongue squamous cell carcinoma cell lines were employed in this study. WP1066 was used to suppress STAT-3 signaling pathway. Cells were divided into three groups:dimethyl sulphoxide (DMSO) group, cis-dichlorodiamine-platinum (DDP) group and WP1066+DDP group. Transcription level of miR-21 was assessed by real-time PCR, while the expression levels of STAT-3, p-STAT-3, tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase-3 (TIMP-3) and matrix metalloproteinase-2/9 (MMP-2/9 ) were evaluated by Western blot assay. Matrigel matrix and transwell assay were used to determine cancer cell colony formation and invasive ability respectively. Expression level of miR-21 was examined by luciferase reporter gene as-say. Results Expression levels of STAT-3, pSTAT-3 and miR-21 were significantly suppressed by WP1066 treatment. The diameters of culture colony in cells treated with WP1066 and DDP were smaller than those in control group. The number of tongue cancer cells that migrated through the transwell membrane in WP1066 and DDP treated group was less than that in control group. Additionally, MMP-2/9 expression decreased while TIMP-3 increased dramatically in both cell lines in WP1066+DPP group compared to the other two groups. Conclusion Reduction of STAT-3 can sensitize oral squamous cell carcinoma to cis-dichlorodiamineplatinum via downregulating miR-21. Our study shows that DDP, in combination with WP1066, might be used as a potential target in the treatment of human oral squamous cell cancer.

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of irinotecan combined with capecitabine or tegafur-gimeracil-oteracil potassium in the second-line treatment of advanced colorectal cancer. Methods The clinical data of 19 patients with advanced colorectal cancer who were admitted to the Cancer Hospital of Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and Peking Union Medical College from October 2014 to December 2017 were retrospectively analyzed, and these patients failed the first-line chemotherapy regimen. All patients were treated with irinotecan plus capecitabine or tegafur-gimeracil-oteracil potassium. The patient's short-term efficacy, adverse reactions, progression-free survival, and overall survival were analyzed. Results After treatment, the efficacy in 18 of the 19 patients with advanced colorectal cancer was evaluable, including partial remission in 3 patients, stable disease in 13 patients, and disease progression in 2 patients. The objective remission rate was 16.7％ (3/18), the disease control rate was 88.9％ (16/18), the median progression-free survival time was 7.6 months, and the median overall survival time was 23.3 months. All of the patients were well tolerated , and the grade 4 adverse reaction was presented as grade 4 neutropenia (1 case), grade 3 leukopenia (2 cases) and thrombocytopenia (1 case), grade 2 diarrhea (1 case), and grade 1 diarrhea (3 cases), and grade 1-2 liver injury (3 cases) and nephrotoxicity (2 cases). Conclusion Irinotecan combined with capecitabine or tegafur-gimeracil-oteracil potassium in the treatment of advanced colorectal cancer is effective and safe, which is worthy of clinical promotion.

Objective To explore the clinical significance of colonoscopy follow-up in Chinese Lynch syndrome mismatch repair (MMR) gene mutation carriers.Methods The results of colonoscopy follow-up was analyzed in 194 MMR gene mutation carriers of 50 Lynch syndrome families.The follow-up period was from April 2001 to November 2016.The detection rates of advanced adenomas and colorectal cancers,five-year survival rate and ten year survival rate were compared between 123 patients of regular follow-up group (colonoscopy interval less than two years) and 71 patients of irregular follow-up group (time colonoscopy interval more than two years).T test,chi-square test and Kaplan-Meier method were performed for statistically analysis.Results The incidence of colorectal cancer of irregular follow up group was significantly higher than that of regular follow-up group (57.7％,41/71 vs 22.8％,28/123);and the difference was statistically significant (x2 =24.00,P＜0.01).The average age at diagnosis for colorectal cancer in irregular follow up group was younger than that of regular follow up group ((45.3 ± 1.9) years vs (48.7±1.8) years);and the difference was statistically significant (t=4.10,P＜0.01).In regular follow-up group,28.6％ (8/28) advanced-stage colorectal cancer (TNM Ⅲ or Ⅳ) was found,while in irregular follow up group,73.2 ％ (30/41) advanced-stage colorectal cancer was found,and there was statistically significant difference in pathological stage between two groups (x2 =4.90,P =0.032).The five year and ten-year survival rates of regular follow-up group were 96.2 ％ and 85.1 ％,respectively,which were both higher than those of irregular follow-up group (46.3 ％ and 28.7 ％);and the differences were statistically significant (x2 =13.20 and 14.80,both P＜0.05).The incidence of advanced adenomas of irregular follow up group was significantly higher than that of regular follow-up group (49.3％,35/71 vs 18.7％,23/123);and the difference was statistically significant (x2 =20.10,P＜0.05).The detection rate of advanced adenomas of MMR gene mutation carriers was higher than those without MMR mutation gene (85.4％,35/41 vs 14.6％,6/41);and the difference was statistically significant (x2 =5.20,P＜ 0.05).Conclusion Regular colonoscopy surveillance may decrease the incidence and mortality of colorectal cancer in MMR mutation carriers of Lynch syndrome families,and increase five-year and tenyear survival rates.
