Objective:To explore the relationship between parental rearing style and mental health of community correction offenders, as well as the mediating role of personality and coping styles in it.Methods:A questionnaire survey was conducted on 385 community correction offenders by the Egma Minnen av Bardndosna uppforstran(EMBU), symptom checklist-90 (SCL-90), NEO five-factor inventory(NEO-FFI) and simplified coping style questionnaire(SCSQ) from February to July 2022.SPSS 27.0 software was used for correlation analysis and regression analysis.AMOS 26.0 was used for the construction of structural equation, and Bootstrap was used for mediating effect analysis. Results:In parental rearing styles, the dimension of parents' severe punishment(19.09±5.32, 12.93±4.77), father's preference for subjects(9.29±3.30), father's excessive protection(10.40±2.19), mother's excessive interference and protection(33.81±6.06)and parents' refusal and denial (9.08±3.03, 12.17±4.25) were significantly positively correlated with the total score of SCL-90 (140.63±44.28)( r=0.114, 0.168, 0.121, 0.144, 0.224, 0.187, 0.220 respectively, all P<0.05). Parents' emotional warmth and understanding, parents' severe punishment and parents' refusal and denial were significantly correlated with coping styles ( r=0.420, 0.420, -0.189, -0.190, -0.174, -0.163 respectively, P<0.05). Neuroticism, extraversion, conformity, rigor in personality were significantly correlated with the total score of SCL-90 ( r=0.542, -0.442, -0.204, -0.202 respectively, P<0.05). Coping style was significantly negatively correlated with the total score of SCL-90 ( r=-0.352, P<0.05). The father's refusal and denial, the mother's emotional warmth and understanding, the mother's excessive interference and protection in the parental rearing styles could predict the mental health of community correction offenders ( β=0.191, -0.163, 0.233 respectively, P<0.05). Coping styles had a negative predictive effect on mental health ( β=-0.352, P<0.05). Neuroticism, preciseness and extra-version in personality could predict mental health ( β=0.461, 0.183, -0.281 respectively, P<0.05). The pathway coefficient of parental rearing styles → mental health was 0.261 ( P<0.001), and the direct effect was significant. The confidence intervals of parental rearing styles → personality traits → mental health path, parental rearing styles → coping tendency → mental health path did not include 0, indicating that partial mediating effect of personality traits and coping tendency were significant. Conclusion:Personality traits and coping styles play a mediating role in the influence of parental rearing style on mental health of community correction offenders.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the effect of nuclear transcription factor RelB on the proteasome inhibitor-sensitivity of chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) cells.
METHODSThe mRNA expression of RelB in CD5⁺ CD19⁺ CLL cells from BM was analyzed by reverse transcription PCR (RT-PCR). The RelB activity was examined by electromobility shift assay (EMSA) and an ELISA-based NF-κB family transcription factor activity assay. CLL cells were classified into RelB+ and RelB- groups according to RelB activity. The frequencies of cell death of CLL cells cultured with human bone marrow stromal cells (hBMSCs) after treatment with PS-341, MG-132 or fludarabine were determined by PI staining.
RESULTSRelB mRNA expression and RelB activity could be detected in CLL cells at variable levels. Fludarabine (10 μmol/L), MG-132 (1 μmol/L) and PS-341 (1 μmol/L) could induce cell death of RelB+ and RelB- CLL cells co-cultured with hBMSCs in a time dependent manner. There was no significant difference in the fludarabine sensitivity between RelB+ and RelB- CLL cells, and the frequencies of cell death of RelB+ and RelB- CLL cells were (61.11 ± 6.91)% and (67.57 ± 9.45)%, respectively, when treated with fludarabine for 72 h. RelB+ CLL cells were more sensitive to MG-132 than RelB- CLL cells for 72 h, and the frequencies of cell death were (66.22 ± 3.39)% and (51.07 ± 5.93)%, respectively. RelB+ CLL cells were more sensitive to PS-341 than RelB- CLL cells for 24 and 48 h treatment, and the frequencies of cell death of RelB+ and RelB- CLL cells were (75.50 ± 4.66)% and (66.32 ± 10.20)% for 24 h, (92.11 ± 3.14)% and (85.84 ± 5.81)% for 48 h treatment, respectively.
CONCLUSIONThe alternative NF-κB activity was detected in bone marrow derived CLL cells. Enhancement of RelB activity may increase CLL cells' sensitivity to proteasome inhibitor bortezomib and MG-132. However, the sensitivity of CLL cells to fludarabine had no relationship to RelB activity.

Chinese Journal of Orthopaedic Trauma 2023;25(7):610-616
Objective:To compare the medium-term clinical effects of arthroscopic double row repair between traumatic and degenerative medium supraspinatus tear. Methods:A retrospective study was conducted to analyze the clinical data of 23 patients who had been treated for traumatic or degenerative medium supraspinatus tear by the same arthroscopic double row repair and postoperative rehabilitation at Sports Medicine Center, The First Hospital Affiliated to Army Medical University between January 2015 and August 2020. They were assigned into 2 groups according to different tears. In the traumatic group of 8 cases of traumatic medium supraspinatus tear, there were 5 males and 3 females with an age of (46.1±4.3) years and a tear size of (1.3±1.0) cm 2. In the degenerative group of 15 cases of degenerative medium supraspinatus tear, there were 4 males and 11 females with an age of (59.9±8.1) years and a tear size of (4.1±1.1) cm 2. At preoperation and the last follow-up, the shoulder pain was evaluated by visual analogue scale (VAS), and the shoulder function by American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons (ASES) score, Constant-Murley score and Simple Shoulder Test (SST); the improvements in active range of motion (ROM) of the shoulder were recorded at the last follow-up. Results:The 2 groups were comparable because there was no significant difference between them in the general clinical data ( P>0.05). The traumatic and degenerative groups were followed up for (40.3±11.2) and (36.4±12.4) months, respectively. At the last follow-up, the improvements in range of anterior flexion and internal rotation vertebral rank in the degenerative group [55.3°±33.6° and (4.1±1.3) ranks] were significantly greater than those in the traumatic group [27.5°±22.5° and (2.3±1.9) ranks] ( P<0.05). At the last follow-up, the VAS, ASES, Constant-Murley, and SST scores in the degenerative group were improved respectively by (3.7±0.8), (40.9±14.0), (38.4±9.4), and (6.5±1.4) points compared with their preoperative values, significantly greater than those in the traumatic group [(2.3±0.7), (19.6±14.6), (19.2±7.9), and (3.8±0.7) points] ( P<0.05). Conclusion:Arthroscopic double row repair can achieve significant medium-term improvements in shoulder function for both traumatic and degenerative medium supraspinatus tears, but the improvements may be grater for the degenerative ones.
