The serum specimens were collected from ovarian cancer (n =100),benign ovarian disease (n =69) and healthy women (n =95).The serum levels of HE4 and CA125 were detected.Risk of ovarian maliqnancy algorithm (ROMA) was calculated.Accuracy of prediction was evaluated by the area under receiver operating characteristic curve (ROC-AUC).And validity of prediction was evaluated by sensitivity and specificity.The results showed that the median level of ROMA algorithm was 83.0％,8.9％ and 8.7％ in ovarian cancer,benign ovarian disease and healthy women groups respectively.The difference were statistically significant (all P ＜ 0.01).Compared with benign ovarian disease group,the ROC-AUC of ROMA algorithm was 0.900 in ovarian cancer group.The sensitivity and specificity were 81.0％ and 92.8％ in ovarian cancer group respectively.Thus ROMA algorithm is a useful parameter in risk stratification for ovarian cancer.The diagnostic accuracy of ROMA algorithm is better than that of HE4 and CA125 in ovarian cancer.

Objective: To discuss the value of preserving ICBN during modified radical mastectomy for breast neoplasms. Methods: Sixty-three cases of breast carcinoma who underwent modified radical mastecto-my were studied. Of them, ICBN was completely preserved in 33 cases and was dissected in 30 cases. Sen-sory function of the medial upper arm of all patients was followed up after surgery. Results: No local recur-rence or metastasis was found among the 63 patients during the first, sixth, and twelveth month of follow-up period. Among the 33 cases with ICBN reserved, 29 cases (87.88%) had normal sensation of the skin in up-per medial arm and axilla, while 4 cases (12.12%) had paresthesia. Conclsion: Preserving ICBN can en-hance the quality of life of breast cancer patients after surgery.

Aim To study the absorption mechanism of apigenin-7-O-glucronide, 3,4-Dihydroxycinnamic acid and chlorogenic acid in Erigeron breviscapus extract ( Ebe) by Caco-2 cell monolayer model. Methods The three active ingredients were quantified by UPLC-MS/MS method, and the effect of Ebe concentrations, conveying times, pH values and P-glycoprotein inhibi-tor on the transport of three active ingredients were also investigated. Results Apigenin-7-O-glucronide and chlorogenic acid in Caco-2 cell monolayer model were time-dependent and concentration-dependent. The 3, 4-Dihydroxycinnamic acid in Caco-2 cell uptake was concentration-saturate and P-glycoprotein inhibitor was involved in the uptake process. Conclusion The mechanism of apigenin-7-O-glucronide and chlorogenic acid absorption in cells is mainly through passive trans-port, and the absorption of 3, 4-Dihydroxycinnamic acid is mainly realized by the carrier transport.

Objective To explore the effect of thrombolysis with anticoagulation treatment for early stage of posttraumatic and postoperative deep vein thrombosis of lower extremity. Methods The clinical data of 38 palients with early stage of posttraumatic and postoperative deep vein thrombosis(DVT) of lower extemity treated by thrombolysis with anticoagulation and dispersion drugs were analyzed retrospectively. Results The thrombolytic effect was significant. After the treatment, the deep veins were recanalization without regorging in 71.0% of patients. The total effective rate was 100%. Only one patient had hemorrhagic complication, two patients had symptomatic pulmonary embolism,but none of the patients died. Conclusions Thrombolysis with anticoagulation is an effective and safe method for posttraumatic and postoperative DVT in the early stage.

Objective To evaluate the different expression of the serum proteome of patient with severe acute pancreatitis (SAP) before and after treatment,and search for the protein that can predict SAP improvement.Methods SELDI-TOF-MS was used to analyze the expression of serum protein spectrum of 20 SAP patients before treatment and 7 days after treatment,and make the APACHE Ⅱ score at the same time.Results The APACHE Ⅱ score was 10.70 ± 3.47 in patients with SAP 7 days after treatment,which were significantly lower than that before treatment ( 13.00 ± 2.21,P ＜0.05 ).One hundred thirty-two spectral peak clusters were detected before and after treatment,there were 27 proteins that had significantly different signal intensities had been detected from 2000 Da to 50000 Da (P ＜ 0.05 ).The peak cluster at 47 000 Dawas significantly down-regulated after SAP attenuation.While the peak clusters at 1l700 Da and 15900 Dawere significantly up-regulated after treatment.Conclusions Serum analysis with SELDI-TOF MS can detect the different expression of the SAP serum proteomics before and after treatment,the increased expression of the protein with molecular weight of 11500 Da and 15900 Da and the decreased expression of 4700 Da may be asignal of improvement of SAP.

Objective To evaluate the reliability of CT perfusion parameter values of the normal hepatic segments and neoplasms, obtained with deconvolution (DC) and maximum slope (MS) algorithms. Methods Perfusion parameter values of 111 ROIs in 62 normal hepatic segments and 49 neoplasms derived from 62 CT perfusion studies performed with 320 multi-slice CT, were retrospectively analyzed by two experienced radiologists. BF,BV and PI according to DC and MS algorithms were compared with t paired test, Pearson correlation and Bland-Altman agreement analysis. Interobserver agreement for all perfusion parameters was calculated using intraclass correlation coefficients (ICC). Results Interobserver agreement measured with ICC was very good for all perfusion parameters (≥0.95). BFdc and BVdc exceeded the BFms and BVms in normal hepatic segments and neoplasms (P<0.05); PIdc significantly exceeded the PIms in normal hepatic segments(P<0.05) ,while no difference were found in hepatic neoplasms(P>0.05). Both pairs of perfusion measurements significantly correlated with each other(r>0.9, P<0.01),but the agreement of BF, BV and PI according to DC and MS algorithms was not good. Conclusions CT perfusion values such as BF,BV and PI obtained by DC and MS algorithms correlated significantly with each other, but with poor agreement.

Objective To assess the diagnostic accuracy of solitary pulmonary nodules while selecting different backgrounds in 99 Tcm‐MIBI SPECT/CT examination .Methods Totally 38 suspected solitary pulmonary nodules (SPN) were analyzed retrospectively .The lesions were divided into malignant group and benign group according to the pathological findings . We selected two different backgrounds , contralateral lung field ( DL ) and the contralateral soft tissue (NST) .The maximum counts and the mean counts of lesion to non‐lesion ratio (L/N) were calculated to evaluate diagnostic efficacy using ROC curve . The relationship between lesion size , pathological grading and L/N ratio was analyzed by Spearman correlation analysis . Results With DL and NST as the backgrounds ,the maximum counts and the mean counts of L/N between benign and malignant groups both differed significantly (all P<0 .05) .ROC curve analysis showed as follows :With DL and NST as the backgrounds ,the area under the curve (AUC) of L/DL‐MAX ,L/DL‐MEAN ,L/NST‐MAX ,and L/NST‐MEAN was 0 .73 ,0 .78 ,0 .80 and 0 .86 ,respectively .By pairwise comparison ,there was no significant difference (all P>0 .05) .The size and pathological grading of SPN did not affect 99 Tcm‐MIBI accumulation in the SPN (all P>0 .05) .Conclusion DL and NST both can be used as the background in diagnosis of pulmonary nodules on 99 Tcm‐MIBI SPECT/CT examination .The mean counts of the contralateral tissue used as the background can provide a stable result and a high diagnostic accuracy to assess the SPN .

OBJECTIVETo observe the in vitro effect of compound 861 (Cpd 861) on tissue inhibitor of metalloprotenase 1 (TIMP1) mRNA levels of HSC-T6 cell.

METHODSHSC-T6 cells were exposed in different concentrations of Cpd 861 (0.25~1.0 mg/ml) for 48 hours. The TIMP1 level was measured by the quantitative reverse-transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR).

RESULTSThe TIMP1 mRNA levels of HSC-T6 cells at different concentrations of Cpd 861 were lower (2.50 0.71, 0.50 0.01, 0.11 0.03) than those of the normal control (3.78 0.67, P<0.05 or P<0.01).

CONCLUSIONSThe antifibrotic mechanism of Cpd 861 is partly due to its downregulation on TIMP1 mRNA levels of HSC-T6 cells.

Objective Evaluate the interaction between dexmedetomidine and propofol for seda-tion induction.Methods Seventy-five patients who undergoing elective surgery under general anesthe-sia,36 males and 39 females,aged 18-65 years,BMI 20-25 kg/m2,ASA physical status Ⅰ or Ⅱwere randomly divided into three groups (n=25 ):propofol group (group A),dexmedetomidine group (group B),propofol combined dexmedetomidine group(group C),each group was divided into 5 groups according to different drug doses,the dose ratio of the adjacent two groups was 1.25,and the median effective dose (ED50)value was calculated by the point oblique method.Results The hyp-notic dose of propofol ED50in group A was 1.25 mg/kg (0.90-1.45 mg/kg),and the anesthetic induction dose of dexmedetomidine ED50in group B was 1.35 μg/kg (0.95-1.50 μg/kg),and the hypnotic dose of propofol and dexmedetomidine ED50in group C was 0.65 mg/kg (0.50-0.90 mg/kg)and 0.40 μg/kg (0.34-0.65 μg/kg)respectively.Conclusion Dexmedetomidine combined with propofol can produce a sig-nificant hypnotic effect,while reducing the impact on the circulation.

Objective: To observe the survival and side effects of stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) in large hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) patients. Methods: Twenty-eight large HCC patients undergoing SBRT in 302 Military Hospital from November 1, 2011 to January 31, 2014 were observed. The prescribed dose was 39-61 Gy/3-9f. Among them, 20 patients simultaneously received transcatheter arterial embolization. The overall survival (OS), progression-free survival (PFS) and local control (LC) rates were calculated by using Kaplan-Meier method. The influencing factors of OS were analyzed by Cox regression model. The influencing factors of radiation-induced liver disease (RILD) were identified by using Logistic regression analysis. Results: The 1-, 2-, 3-and 5-year OS rates were 75%, 57%, 54% and 22%, respectively. The 1-, 2-, 3-and 5-year PFS rates were 59%, 47%, 36% and 18%, respectively. The 1-, 2-, 3-and 5-year LC rates were 92%, 86%, 86% and 86%, respectively. Four patients suffered from RILD and none died from RILD. Child-Pugh classification was the influencing factor of OS and RILD. Conclusion It is preliminarily believed that SBRT is an alternative and safe treatment for patients with large HCC.
