1.Research progress on the clinical classification and treatment of metastatic Spinal Tumors
Chinese Journal of Clinical Oncology 2013;(14):869-872
The clinical classification of metastatic spinal tumors is based on the degree of malignancy, nervous system function, osteoclasia, and prognosis of patients. The application of this classification system is relatively simple. The assessment and evaluation of patients to estimate the period of survival can guide the individualized treatment of patients. Patients with clear surgical indications can choose to undergo a palliative operation, tumor resection, or total spondylectomy. Alternatively, other patients can opt to have mini-mally invasive surgery aside from the normal surgical approach. Stereotactic radiotherapy and intensity-modulated radiation therapy combined with the use of radiofrequency ablation, radiation, and other therapies can achieve local tumor control, relieve pain, and main-tain normal neurological function. Thus, the quality of life of the patient is improved. Percutaneous vertebroplasty, radiofrequency abla-tion, spinal endoscopy, and other modern forms of minimally invasive surgery will have more applications in the treatment of spinal metastatic tumors.

Objective To establish a method for the determination of Forsythin in Shenyan Jiere Tablets by HPLC. Methods The separation was performed on shim-pak clc-ODS (4.6 mm?150 mm, 5 ?m) with Accetonitrile-0.025 mol/L H3PO4 (20∶80) as mobile phase. The flow rate was 1 mL/min and UV detector was at 277 nm. Results The method had good average recovery with 97.1% (n=5), RSD=1.6%, good linear relationship within the range of 0.12~0.5 ?g. Conclusion The method is accurate, reliable and can be used for quality control of the production.

OBJECTIVE To investigate the incidence, symtoms and prognosis of hospital infection by Mucor after liver transplantation.METHODS The clinical data of all the patients with complicated hospital infection orthotopic by Mucor after orthotopic liver transplantation were analyzed restrospectively.RESULTS There were 9 cases with complicated hospital infection by Mucor from in 750 liver transplant recipients.Seven cases developed superficial incisional infection with delayed healing and rapid increased secretion on the surface of incisions. All of them recovered after antifungal therapy. Two cases had pulmonary Mucor infection combined with bacteria and died of multi-organ failure.CONCLUSIONS The incidence of hospital infection by Mucor in liver transplant recipients is about 1%.The most common symtoms are superficial incisional infection and the patients recover well. However, the cases with complicated pulmonary Mucor infection are difficult to treat and have a poor prognosis.

Journal of Preventive Medicine 2024;36(7):575-579
Objective:
To investigate the nicotine dependence of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) who smoke and analyze its influencing factors, so as to provide insights into targeted smoking cessation interventions for smoking COPD patients.
Methods:
The smoking COPD patients were selected from three hospitals in Lanzhou City using the convenience sampling method from October 2022 to April 2023. Demographic data, smoking status, and willingness to quit smoking were collected using questionnaire surveys. Nicotine dependence was assessed according to Fagerstrom Test for Nicotine Dependence. The influencing factors of nicotine dependence in smoking COPD patients were analyzed using a multiple linear regression model.
Results:
A total of 200 questionnaires were distributed, and 171 valid questionnaires were collected, with a response rate of 85.50%. The median age was 48.00 (interquartile range, 10.00) years. There were 158 males, accounting for 92.40%; 53 cases with a college degree or above, accounting for 30.99%. The median smoking duration was 15.00 (interquartile range, 11.00) years. There were 73 patients (42.69%) smoking 21 to 30 cigarettes per day, and 159 patients (92.98%) with the willingness to quit smoking. The median nicotine dependence score was 3.00 (interquartile range, 1.00) points. There were statistically significant differences in nicotine dependence scores among smoking COPD patients with different ages, educational levels, occupations, interpersonal relationships, smoking duration, daily cigarette consumption, awareness of smoking hazards and willingness to quit smoking (all P<0.05). Multiple linear regression analysis revealed that nicotine dependence was related with educational level (β=-0.251), interpersonal relationship (β=-0.246), smoking duration (β=0.038), daily cigarette consumption (β=0.518) and willingness to quit smoking (β=-0.173) among smoking COPD patients (all P<0.05).
Conclusion
The nicotine dependence among smoking COPD patients was influenced by educational level, interpersonal relationships, smoking duration, daily cigarette consumption and willingness to quit smoking.

Chinese Traditional Patent Medicine 1992;0(12):-
Objective: To determine quercetin and kaempferol in stamen neulumbinis by HPLC. Methods : Shim-pack CLC-ODS column was used. Mobile phase consisted of methanol-0.025% phosphate. UV detector wavelength was set at 370nm. Results : The chromatographic peaks of quercetin and kaempferol and other components were completely separated. The average recovery was 96.8% and RSD was 1.97%. Conclusion : The experiment provided new markers and a reliable method for the quality control of Stamen Neulumbinis.

AIM: To determine adenosine content in Kudiezi Injection(Ixeris sonchifolia Hance). METHODS: HPLC was used with Shim-pack CLC-ODS(6.0 mm?150 mm,5 ?m). The mobile phase consisted of methanol-acelonitrile-0.025 mol?L -1 phosphoric acid (3∶4∶93). The flow rate was 1 mL?min -1 . The UV detection wavelength was at 260 nm. RESULTS: The adenosin content in Kudiezi Injection was 0.15/10 mL. The average recovery was 98.4%(n=5). CONCLUSION: HPLC can be used for the quality control of Kudiezi Injection Injection.

Objective To investigate the clinical effects of two minimally invasive surgical treatments for billary acute pancretitis.Method In this study,63 patients with billary acute pancretitis were prospectively divided into two groups.Patients in group A received laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LC) and laparoscopic transcyctic common bile duct exploration (LTCBDE) within 72 hours of onset, group B underwent endoscopic nasobiliary drainage (ENBD).The two groups were evaluated by blood amylase and urine amylase, alanine aminotransferase, aspartate aminotransferase on postoperative day 1,3,5,local complication and the recurrence rate within 6 months.Result Blood amylase was lower in group A than that in group B (P =0.04) on postoperative day 1.There were no significant differences in amylase, aminotransferase of two groups on postoperative day 3,5 (all P > 0.05).The incidences of local complications and pancreatic necrosis infection were 2.7%,7.7% respectively(P =0.13) ; the incidences of pancreatic pseudocyst were 5.4%,7.7% (P =0.42) ; the recurrence rate within 6 months were 2.7% and 19.2% respectively(P =0.006).Conclusions The clinical curative effects of early LC and LTCBDE or ENBD on billary acute pancretitis showed no significant differences, but the recurrence rate of acute pancretitis within 6 months revealed that early LC and LTCBDE may be more effective.
