AIM: To isolate and identify triterpenes from inflorescence of Cremanthodium potaninii C.Winkl,collected from Qinghai province.METHODS: The triterpenes were isolated by column chromatography and their structures were elucidated through NMR.RESULTS: Seven triterpenes were isolated and identified as ?-amyrin(I),Taraxast-20(30)-ene-3?,16?-diol-3-O-palmitate(II),olean-12-en-3?,16?-diol-3-O-palmitate(III),Olean-12-en-3?,11?,16?-triol-3-palmitate(IV),lup-3?,16?-diol-3-O-palmitate(V),lup-3?,16?,28-triol-3-O-palmitate(VI),16?-hydroxypseudo tarsxasterol-3-O-palmitate(VII).CONCLUSION: All these compounds are obtained from Cremanthodium potaninii C.Winkl for the first time.

Objective To investigate the effects of ursolic acid (UA) on cisplatin (CDDP)-induced expres_sion of transient receptor potential vanilloid 1 (TRPV1) in mouse cochlea .Methods Sixty BALB/c mice were ran_domly divided into 4 groups (15 mice in each group) and received introperitoneal injection once daily for 5 days:Control group (normol saline) ,UA group (80 mg/kg/day) ,CDDP group (4 .5 mg/kg/day) ,and CDPP (4 .5 mg/kg/day) plus UA group (80 mg/kg/day) .The expression of TRPV1 in mouse cochlea was determined by immuno_histochemistry ,microscope image analysis and western blot ,and auditory thresholds were evaluated by auditory brainstem response (ABR) measurement .ResuIts The expression of cochlea TRPV1 and ABR threshold shift was significantly increased in the mice treated with CDDP (P< 0 .05) ,as compared with control mice .These effects were prevented by UA treatment (all P<0 .05) .Furthermore ,a linear relationship analysis revealed that the ex_pression of cochlea TRPV1 was significantly correlated with ABR threshold shift(|r|>0 .7 , P<0 .05) .ConcIusion UA effectively attenuated CDDP -induced ototoxicity and improved auditory function through inhibition of TR_PV1 .

Objective To understand the continuous care needs and related services will of the women in puerperium, and analyze the relative factors of the continuity care of those discharged from maternity hospital.Methods A total of 207 delivery women who were discharged from a hospital in Chenghua District Maternal & Child Care Center in Chengdu city from September to December, 2014 were investigated with self-made questionnaires.Results As for newborn babies' continuity care service, what those delivery women care most were newborn babies' common disease prevention and care, and as for their own continuity care service, what they most need were maternal uterine instauration care.Enforcers for continuity of care services were more inclined to obstetricians and pediatricians, and the service forms tended to make telephone calls or do follow-up visits.Time frequency of the follow-up visits was inclined to 7 days once.Delivery women's educational degree (r=-0.216, P＜0.01), place of residence (r=0.208, P＜0.01), whether they would participate in pregnant Women school (r=0.192, P＜0.01), pregnant women school number (r=-0.382, P＜0.01),the newborn's tire(r=0.173, P＜0.05) and maternal type(r=0.161, P＜0.05) were factors that influenced the degree of maternal continued care needs.Conclusions The main factors which influence the continuity care in obstetrics are educational degrees, place of residence and the types of delivery women.As a result, different methods of continuity care service should be established to aim at different groups of people so as to promote the service quality in obstetrics in general to meet the needs of delivery women at all levels.

Objective To study the value of ultrasonography combined with serum Gastrin-17 in differenti-al diagnosis of abdominal IgA vasculitis in children.Methods A total of 80 children with IgA vasculitis admit-ted to the hospital from June 2020 to December 2022 were selected,including 45 cases of abdominal IgA vascu-litis(observation group)and 35 cases of other types of IgA vasculitis(without gastrointestinal symptoms,control group).The ultrasonographic characteristics and Gastrin-17 level of abdominal IgA vasculitis were an-alyzed,and the relationship between Gastrin-17 level and purpura symptom score was analyzed.Receiver oper-ating characteristic(ROC)curve was used to analyze the diagnostic value of ultrasonography and Gastrin-17 for abdominal IgA vasculitis in children.Results The symptom score of purpura in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.001),while the serum Gastrin-17 level in the obser-vation group was significantly lower than that in the control group.Pearson correlation analysis showed that serum Gastrin-17 level was negatively correlated with purpura symptom score(r=-0.758,P<0.001).Ul-trasound images showed"doughnut"-like changes in the intestinal wall,with different degrees of central-thick-ness thickening and reduced echo,mainly submucosal thickening.ROC curve analysis showed that the cut-off value of serum Gastrin-17 in the diagnosis of abdominal IgA vasculitis in children was 2.91 pmol/L,the area under the curve was 0.787(95%CI:0.685-0.888),the sensitivity and the specificity were 75.56%(34/45)and 74.29%(26/35),respectively.The sensitivity of ultrasound combined with Gastrin-17 in the diagnosis of abdominal IgA vasculitis in children was 97.78%(44/45),the negative prediction rate was 95.65%(22/23),and the accuracy rate was 82.50%(66/80),which was significantly higher than those of single diagnosis(P<0.05).Conclusion Serum Gastrin-17 level is low in children with abdominal IgA vasculitis,and ultrasound imaging shows"doughnut"-like changes in the intestinal wall and thickening of the submucosa.Combined de-tection of the two could effectively differentially diagnose abdominal IgA vasculitis in children.

Objective To evaluate the effect of doxofylline on pulmonary inflammatory response induced by mechanical ventilation in rats with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).Methods Thirty adult male Sprague-Dawley rats,aged 8 weeks,weighing 200-250 g,were divided into 3 groups (n=10 each) using a random number table method:control group (C group),COPD group and doxofylline group (Dox group).Rats were fed in normoxia for 2 months,and normal saline 0.2 ml was injected into the trachea on 1st and 30th days in C group.Rats were exposed to cigarette smoke for 30 min every day,lasting for 2 months,and lipopolysaccharide 200 μg (0.2 ml) was injected into the trachea on 1st and 30th days in COPD and Dox groups.Two months later,rats in each group were anesthetized,tracheally intubated,and then mechanically ventilated.Doxofylline 50 mg/kg was intravenously injected immediately after intubation in Dox group,and the equal volume of normal saline was given instead in C and COPD groups.Pulmonary specimens were taken after 120 min of mechanical ventilation for examination of pathological changes and for determination of wet/dry weight ratio (W/D ratio) and tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α) and interleukin-10 (IL-10) contents (by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay).Results No significant pathological change of lung tissues was found in C group,and COPD pathological changes were observed in COPD and Dox groups.Compared with C group,the W/D ratio and TNF-α level were significantly increased,and the IL-10 level was decreased in COPD and Dox groups (P＜0.05).Compared with COPD group,the W/D ratio and TNF-α level were significantly decreased,and the IL-10 level was increased in Dox group (P＜0.05).Conclusion Doxofylline can reduce the pulmonary inflammatory response induced by mechanical ventilation in rats with COPD.
