The complete remission in the observation group was 89.29%in two weeks, which was significantly higher than 62.86%in the control group (P<0.05) . The total effective rate of observation group was 85.71%, which was significantly higher than that 62.86%in the control group (P<0.05) . The clinical benefit rate of observation group was 96.43%, and there was no significant difference between the two groups (P>0.05) . There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P>0.05) . There was no significant difference in 1, 2 year survival rate between the two groups (P>0.05) . Conclusion Three dimensional conformal radiation therapy for non small cell lung cancer patients with superior vena cava syndrome is superior to conventional treatment, and does not increase the toxic side effects, which is worthy of clinical attention.
3.Role of long non-coding RNA in diabetes mellitus and its complications.
Chinese Journal of Biotechnology 2016;32(3):284-291
Long non-coding RNA was initially identified as "noises" of gene transcriptions. However, with the developing researches of ENCODE, it was found that the long non-coding RNAs can regulate the genomic expressions in the form of RNAs in epigenetic, transcription, and post transcriptional levels, which is involved in the regulation of diverse cellular processes and has significant influences on occurrence and precaution of human diseases. This paper introduces functions and features of the long non-coding RNAs, and sums up the internal relation between long non-coding RNAs, diabetes and diabetic complications on the basis of existing researches. These advances can provide the basis for the further understanding of molecular medicine on occurrence and evolution of diabetes.

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2006;10(42):193-195
BACKGROUND: Severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) is a kind of very strong infective respiratory system diseases. Due to rapid development of disease course, severe symptoms, forced isolation, being away the supports from relatives and friends, many patients with SARS presented extremely anxiety and panic, even depression and despair, and they are in the crisis state and need mental support and help.OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the therapeutic effect of mental crisis intervention in patients with SARS.DESIGN: Controlled observation.SETTING: Xiaotangshan Hospital of Chinese PLA.PARTICIPANTS: Totally 680 patients with SARS who received the mental intervention in the Psychological Counseling Center, Xiaotangshan Hospital of Chinese PLA in May 2003. The patients, 379 male (55.74%)and 301 female (44.26%), were aged (35±7) years. Degree of education:34.5% of patients received education below junior high school, 31.5% senior high school and 34.0% college. 100% of the patients had family member or colleague-infected life events, and 14.4% of the patients lost their family members. Degree of disease: 6.9% of patients were in the severe period, 67.5% in the stable period and 25.6% in the rehabilitation period.METHODS: ① Totally 489 patients who received telephone counseling, and attended telephone mutual-help group, group debugging, individual counseling and group counseling were chosen, serving as intervention group, and the other 191 patients served as control group. ②The mental health state of patients in the 2 groups was evaluated at admission with symptom checklist 90 (SCL-90), which consisted of somatization, obsessive compulsive, interpersonal sensitivity, depression, anxiety, hostility, phobic anxiety, paranoid ideation and psychoticism 9 factors. The grading scoring was used. The higher grades, the more severe symptoms. ③ The patients of intervention group were given comprehensive mental intervention, which included handing out materials(self-debugging propagandist manual), care from staff, mental counseling by telephone, group debugging, individual counseling, guidance by mental doctor, etc. Patients in the control group only received handed materials (self-debugging propagandist manual) and the care from staff. SCL-90 was used to re-evaluate the patients of intervention group and control group before discharge. ④Intervention therapeutic effect of patients in 2 groups were evaluated with comprehensive mental intervention questionnaires, which were mainly about self and social cognition, feeling and emotion, life behavior styles, physiological and body symptoms 4 dimensions. Grading scoring was used. The higher points, the better intervention effect. Self-rating and rating by others were used in each question. If the results in self-rating are the same as those in rating by others, questionnaire is valid, otherwise, it is invalid). ⑤ The scoring of all the patients at admission was compared with that of Beijing norm by using SCL-90.The mental health of patients of 2 groups after intervention was measured, evaluated and compared with SCL-90.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Difference in scoring of SCL-90 between all the patients and Beijing norm; Changes in the scoring of SCL-90 between intervention group and control group at admission and after intervention.RESULTS: Totally 680 comprehensive mental intervention questionnaires were handed out, and 669 of them were retrieved, among which 483 from intervention group and 186 from control group. Altogether 669 patients participated in the result analysis. ① Points of each factor in SCL-90 of patients at admission were significantly higher than norm, especially in anxiety and phobic anxiety. 45.5% and 50.1% of the investigated patients had more than 3 points in anxiety and phobic anxiety respectively. 86.5% of the investigated patients had mental problems to different degrees. ②There was no significant difference in the points of various factors in SCL-90 at admission between intervention group and control group (P>0.05).In the various factors of SCL-90, no significant difference in the points of various factors in SCL-90 at admission between intervention group and control group (P>0.05).In the various factors of SCL-90,no significant difference exists in phobic anxiety and paranoid ideation and psychoticism between two groups (P>0.05),but the points of the other factors of intervention group were significantly lower than those of control group (P<0.05-0.01).CONCLUSION: Mental crisis intervention can remarkably lighten the somatization, obsessive-compulsive, anxiety and depression, lower interpersonal sensitivity and improve hostility.

Objective: To explore the effects of rhPRL on the cytotoxicity and proliferation of natural killer cell lines. Methods: Cytotoxici-ty and proliferation analysis were done by MTT,RT-PCR method, direct immunofluoresence technique and FAGS protocol was applied to detect the PRL-R and CD25 expression on NK cell lines. Results: MTT results indicated that PRL play a significant roles on the proliferation and cytotoxicity of IL-2 dependent cell lines NKL and NK-92 in the presence of trace amounts of IL-2. In contrast, PRL did not significantly alter the proliferation and cytolyric activity of YT. RT-PCR and FACS analysis showed three NK cell lines expressed PRL-R and CD25 differently, stimulation of rhPRL could upregulate CD25 and IL-2 expression. Conclusion: rhPRL could augument the proliferation and cytotoxicity of NK cell partly by upreglating of IL-2. Ra chain(CD25) and interaction with IL-2 signal transduction.

Objective To explore the correlative factors of mental disorder in patients with head injury. Methods 255 subjects sustained with head injury and survived from traffic accident in Chengdu were assessed with Structured Clinical Interview for DSM-Ⅳ axis Ⅰ disorders (SCID-I/P) , Personality Disorder Questionaire for CCMD-2-R(PDQC), Structured Clinical Interview for CCMD-2-R(SCICP), WAIS-RC, WMS, brain electric activity mapping (BEAM) after completion of clinical management. Based on the diagnostic criteria of organic mental disorder in CCMD-3, mental disorders in 255 subjects were diagnosed. Results The incidence of mental disorders in the patients with head injury was 72.5% (185/255). Mental disorders in patients with head injury were correlated with educational level, type and severity of the head injury, or injuries involving the left frontal lobe injury, the left temporal lobe or multiple lobes and BEAM abnormality. Conclusion The incidence of mental disorder is high in the patients with head injury. Educational level, type and severity of the head injury, the location of the injured brain, injury involving multiple lobes of the brain may affect morbidity of mental disorders in patients with head injury.

Objective To investigate the relationships between serum concentration of RBP-4 and the parameters of inflammatory, lipid metabolism, insulin resistance in patients with T2DM. Methods 71 patients newly diagnosed with T2DM and 34 subjects with normal glucose tolerance (NGT) were enrolled in this cross-sectional study. Additionally, another subset analysis was performed. Subjects were divided into normal weight (NW) and overweight or obesity (OW/OB) group on the basis of BMI. Serum RBP-4 was measured with ELISA. Serum concentrations of hs-CRP, free fatty acids (FFA), triglyceride (TG), total cholesterol (TC) and insulin were measured in fasting status. Insulin resistance was assessed by HOMA-IR. Results Ln (HOMA-IR) and the concentrations of TG, FFA, In(hs-CRP) in T2DM were significant-ly higher than that of NGR group[1.20±0.38 vs 0.76±0.34,(2.74±2. 20)mmol/L vs (1.88±1.41),(0. 80±0. 29)mmol/L vs (0.61±0.22)retool/L,0.62±1.00 vs -0. 17±1.07] . InRBP-4 showed a positive relationship with In (HOMA-IR) ( r =0. 382, P <0. 05), but no association with TC, TG, FFA and In(hs-CRP). In the group of T2DM, InRBP-4 showed a positive relationship with FFA ( r =0. 242, P <0.05) and In (hs-CRP) ( r =0.346, P <0.01), but no association with TC, TG and In (HOMA-IR). There were no relationships between InRBP-4 and In (HOMA-IR), TC, TG, FFA and In (hs-CRP)in NW, while in OW/OB group, InRBP-4 showed a positive relationship with In (HOMA-IR) ( r =0. 290,P < 0. 05 ) and In (hs-CRP) ( r = 0. 295, P <0.05 ), but no association with TC, TG and FFA. In a mul-tiple linear regression analysis, In( hs-CRP), TC, TG, FFA or In(HOMA-IR) was not the independent de-terminant of InRBP-4 in any group. Conclusion In patients with T2DM, InRBP-4 is positively correlatedwith In (hs-CRP) and FFA, and it may be a new marker of inflammation.
