Purpose:Our experiments are dealing with the affect of docosahexaenic acid(DHA) in doxorubicin to cytoxicity effect of MDA-MB-435s, which is of the anti-human breast cancer and whether it is one of the effect mechanisms that it via the lipid peroxidation of DHA.Methods:Add different match such as anti-cancer drugs?PUFAs?oxidan system of sodium ascorbate and ?-methy-1.4-naphoqui-none?antioxidant of Dl-?-tocopherol and so on to the culture cell line of MDA-MB-435s each 24 hours for 6 days, estimate MDA by TBA with cell extracts and estimate the contents of NO via nitrite salt spectrophotography, then draw out a dosage-effect correlation straight line among contents of MDA,NO and cytoxicity. Mitox is used as contraposition to the peroxidation of ADM which is enhanced by DHA for peroxidation of mitox is low. Results:There have been obvious changes on the contents of MDA of the lipid peroxidation has paralled increased while NO has decreased. There is recitilinear correlation relationship among the contents of MDA and NO from cell extracts and the cytoxicity. Conclusions:It is obvious that DHA can add the cytoxicity of cell line of MDA-MB-435s with ADM, particularly after add non-cytoxicity oxidant. It is lipid peroxidation of oncocyte that one of the mechanisms of DHA can enhance anti-breast cancer effect of ADM.

Acta Anatomica Sinica 1957;0(04):-
During 14-17th days, the duodenum of the rat fetus was composed of stratified epithelium and peripheral mesenchyme. On 18th day, the mesenchyme began to protrude toward the basal aspect of the epithelium, resulted in the formation of primary villi. At the sametime, goblet cells and the primordia of intestinal glands appeared. The number of goblet cells, which located at the surface of the villi, increased gradually with the fetus age, whereas after birth the goblet cells decreased with the development and maturation of intestinal glands. From 19th day till 3-4 weeks after birth, the shape of villi changed continuously, and attained to the adult shape in 4th week.

To establish a method for radioligand binding assay of thyroid hormone receptors(TR)in human osteoblast-like osteosarcoma cell line MG-63 and to estimate the kinetic parameters of putative receptors. The MG-63cell was cultured in Ham's F12, the soluble TR was prepared from the intact nuclear extracts. The binding properties between TR and T3 were performed by using the traditional Scatchard analysis. The apparent Ka of TR in MG-63 is 7.68× 109 L/mol, and MBC(111. 25+ 10.77)fmol/mg protein. The study indicated that MG-63 cells possessed high affinity and limited-capacity of TR in its nuclear extracts. This may serve as the starting and basic work about TR in bone cell.

Objective To examine the expression of thyroid hormone receptor isoforms (TR α1, α2, β1, and β2) in human osteoblast-like cell line MG-63 at the mRNA level and the effect of thyroid hormone (T3 or T4 ) on the expression. Methods Realtime quantitative PCR was performed. Results The expression of TRα1 mRNA was the highest, that was 10. 70± 0.45, TRβ1 was 5.75 ± 0. 10, TRβ2 was 3.34 ± 0. 08, and TRα2 was very low, only (3.66 ±0. 59) × 10-2. Only the expression of TRαl and TRα2 mRNA was down regulated significantly by the treatment of 10-10 ~ 10-6 mol/L T3, and there was a negative correlation between the expression of TRα1 or TRα2 mRNA and the concentration of T3. Conclusion TRα1 plays a primary role in mediating the effects of thyroid hormones in skeletal development.

Objective To investigate the efficacy and strategy of percutaneous laser disc decompression (PLDD) for patients with multisegmental lumbar disc herniation. Methods Between December 2005 and December 2008,a total of 56 patients with multisegmental lumbar disc herniation underwent PLDD. Under local anesthesia, the operation was performed using Nd:YAG laser. A digital subtraction angiography (DSA) system was employed to guide the surgery, insert burning, each 1 s, pulse intermission gasification 1 s, single segment laser total 400-800 J. In preoperative and postoperative 3 months visual analogue scale(VAS) and Oswestry disability index (ODI) scores of times during followed up,Macnab standard to assess the clinical curative effect. Results The patients were followed up for 6 - 36 months (mean 18 months). The ODI improved from (31.10 ±2.92) scores to (11.80 ±2.62) scores (t=3.067,P <0.01 ). The VAS also showed postoperative improvement of pain compared with preoperative findings (7.00 ± 1.41 ) scores vs (3.00 ± 0.81 ) scores (t= 2.802,P <0.01 ). According to the Macnab standard, 36 patients achieved excellent outcomes, 10 were good, 8 were fair, and 2 were poor. The rate of excellent and good outoomes was 82. 1% (46/56). No patient had postoperative complications. Conclusions PLDD is effective and safe for patients with multisegmental lumbar disc berniation. The cases recover quickly after the operation, because the procedure is minimally invasive.
