Chinese Journal of Biochemical Pharmaceutics 2017;37(7):373-374
Objective To study the effect of surgery combined with drugs and psychological intervention on prognosis of patients with distal radius fractures. Methods 100 patients with distal radius fractures from January 2015 to December 2016 were selected as the research object in this study. They were randomly divided into the control group and the experimental group, 50 cases in each group. The control group were only treated with surgery, at the basis of surgical treatment, the experimental group were given Yunnan Baiyao capsule and psychological intervention. To increase the frequency of communication with patients, eliminate inner anxiety and other negative emotions, improve treatment compliance. The functional recovery of wrist joint in the two groups was compared and analyzed. Results The excellent rate of wrist in the experimental group was 94%, which was significantly higher than 84% in the control group(P<0.05).There were no complications such as nonunion, infection and carpal tunnel syndrome in the two groups. The fracture healing time in the experimental group was(5.9±1.2) weeks, and in the control group was(5.8±1.1) weeks. The difference in the two groups was no statistically significant. Conclusion Surgery combined with drug and psychological intervention can improve the prognosis and effect of patients with distal radius fracture,.It has clinical value.

Objective To observe the changes of behavior, intracellular free calcium and the expression of calmodulin dependent protein kinase Ⅱ(CaMKⅡ) in the hippocampal neurons of chronic forced swimming stress rats. Methods Male Wistar rats were randomly divided into control group and chronic forced swimming stress group. The behavior was examined using sucrose preference test, open-filed test and Morris water maze. The intracellular free calcium was examined by fluorescence spectrophotometer. The expression of CaMKⅡ was detected using colloidal gold immunoelectron microscopy technique, Western blotting and RT-PCR. Results The consumption of sucrose and erect quantity of chronic forced swimming stress group were lower than those of control group(P<0.01, P<0.05). The escape latency time in Morries water maze test of chronic forced swimming stress group was higher than that of control group(P<0.01). The intracellular free calcium level and the expression of CaMKⅡ in the hippocampus was higher than that of control group(P<0.01).Conclusion The lasting dysfunction of Ca~(2+)/CaMKⅡ signaling cascades in hippocampus may play important roles in the pathogenesis of chronic forced swimming stress rats.

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of acupuncture in treating severe pneumonia complicated with gastrointestinal dysfunction (GIDF).Method Sixty patients with severe pneumonia complicated with GIDF were randomized into a treatment group and a control group, 30 cases in each group. The two groups were both given conventional Western medications. In addition, the treatment group was intervened by acupuncture, and the control group by oral administration of Mosapride citrate capsules and enteral nutrition via nasogastric tube. After 7-day treatment, the changes of GIDF score, intraabdominal pressure, bowel sound and gastric retention were observed in the two groups, and the clinical efficacies were compared.Result The total effective rate was 93.1% in the treatment group versus 78.6% in the control group, and the between-group difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The scores of GIDF and the indexes (intraabdominal pressure, bowel sound, and gastric retention) were significantly changed after the treatment in both groups (P<0.05). The scores of GIDF and the indexes in the treatment group were significantly different from those in the control group after the intervention (P<0.05).Conclusion Acupuncture can promote the recovery of gastrointestinal function in severe pneumonia patients, since it can significantly improve the intraabdominal pressure, bowel sound and gastric retention.

Objective To observe the effect of Bupleurum Liver-Coursing Powder on the neuronal apoptosis and autophage in hippocampus of depression model rats, and to explore the mechanism of its anti-depression effect. Methods 60 male SD rats were randomly divided into control group, model group and drug intervention group (n=20).The depression model was produced by giving the rats chronic unpredicted mild stress. The rats in model group and control group received the same volume of normal saline, and the rats in drug intervention group received Bupleurum Liver-Coursing Powder solution on the basis of model. The depressional behavior was examined using sucrose preference test,tail-suspension test and Morris water maze.Flow cytometry was employed for the detection and quantification of the apoptotic cells in the hippcampus. The expressions of LC-3 and Beclin 1 were detected using Western blotting method. Results The pencertages of sucrose preference of the rats in model group and drug intervention group were significantly lower, while the tail-suspension immobility time and the excape latency time were higher than those in control group (P<0.05);the apoptotic rates of cells, the ratios of LC3-Ⅱ/LC3-Ⅰand the expression levels of Beclin-1 were higher than those in control group (P<0.05).Compared with model group, the percentage of sucrose preference of the rats in drug intervention group was increased (P<0.05),the tail-suspension immobility time and the excape latency time were decreased (P<0.05),and the apoptotic rate of cells, the ratio of LC3-Ⅱ/LC3-Ⅰand the expression level were also decreased (P<0.05).Conclusion Bupleurum Liver-Coursing Powder has significant anti-depression effect, which may be related to inhibiting the apoptosis and degrading the autophage of neuros.

OBJECTIVETo observe the effects of cross electro-nape-acupuncture on reflex remodeling of airway protective reflex cough in patients with tracheotomy after cerebral hemorrhage.
METHODSWith the method of completely random design, according to treatment order, 60 patients who received tracheotomy after cerebral hemorrhage accompanied with cough reflex difficulty were randomly divided into a cross electro-nape-acupuncture group and an acupuncture group, 30 cases in each group. Both groups were treated with basic treatment, including anti-inflammation, eliminating phlegm, improving cerebral metabolism and so on. The acupuncture group was treated with acupuncture at Yifeng (TE 17), Fengchi (GB 20), Lianquan (CV 23), Baihui (GV 20), Touwei (ST 8), Dicang (ST 4) through Jiache (ST 6), Hegu (LI 4), Quchi (LI 11), and motor area on the affected side, and the needles were retained for 30 min. Based on the treatment of acupuncture group, the cross electro-nape-acupuncture group was additionally treated with cross electro-nape-acupuncture (continuous wave) for 30 min per treatment. The treatment was both given twice a day from Monday to Friday and once a day on Saturday and Sun day for 4 weeks. Tracheostomy cough reflex grading score (TCRGS) and clinical pulmonary infection score (CPIS) were observed before and after treatment in the two groups, and the clinical efficacy of two groups was evaluated.
RESULTSCompared before the treatment, TCRGS and CPIS were both reduced in two groups (both P < 0.01); after treatment, there were significant differences of TCRGS and CPIS between two groups (both P < 0.01), indicating cross electro-nape-acupuncture group was superior to acupuncture group. Regarding the effects of cough reflex remodeling, the cured and markedly effective rate was 96.7% (29/30) in the cross electro-nape-acupuncture group, which was significantly different from 55.2% (16/29) in the acupuncture group (P < 0.01).
CONCLUSIONCross electro-nape-acupuncture could effectively improve the remodeling of cough reflex and promote the recovery of lung infection in patients with tracheotomy after cerebral hemorrhage, leading to an increased quality of life.
