1.Effect of antifreeze or antioxidant at different cryopreservation conditions on activity of adipose cells
Chinese Journal of Medical Aesthetics and Cosmetology 2013;(3):215-218
Objective To explore the effect of different antifreeze or antioxidant at different cryopreservation conditions on the activity and the morphology of adipose cells. Methods After purification, fat granules were divided into 5 groups; the same volume of antifreeze or antioxidants were added in each group, stored at-20℃ (refrigerator),-80℃ (ultra-low-temperature refrigerator) and-196 ℃ (liquid nitrogen) ; the amount of glucose transfer was determined and the morphological changes were observed for each group after two weeks, two months, and three months. Results Fat activity of the group adding both dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) and trehalose was significantly higher than that in other groups at the same temperature and the same time point. The decreased amount of glucose transfer of 80℃ group and 196℃ group was significantly lower than that of 20℃ group, and that in groups of each 196℃ were greater than that in groups of each 80℃.Conclusions Antifreeze can obviously keep activity of fat cells.Preservative effect of DMSO is better than trehalose, and that of both combination is much better.Liquid nitrogen storage of adipose tissue for three months and fat granules stored at 80℃ for two months are still suitable for clinical use.

Objective To study the roles of apoptosis genes bcl 2, bax, and bak in the pathogenesis of hepatitis D. Methods Expressions of HDAg, bcl 2, bax, and bak in liver specimens of 77 patients with hepatitis D were studied by immunohistochemical method. Meanwhile, the relationship of HDAg expression with the expressions of bcl 2, bax, and bak was studied by double labelling. Results Bcl 2 was mainly expressed in the cytoplasm of hepatocytes, and bax and bak mainly in the cytoplasm of hepatocytes and partly in the nucleus of hepatocytes, and HDAg mainly in the nucleus of hepatocytes. Lots of HDAg and bax/bak positive cells were distributed in infiltrating lymphocytes at the periportal region especially at the advancing edges of areas of piecemeal necrosis. Apoptosis of many hepatocytes was found to locate near the HDAg positive cells. There was positive correlation between the expression of bax/bak and HDAg expression ( P

Objective To observe the effect of treatment of the diabetide foot with the fresh skin of the bufo bufo gargarizans cantor. Methods 42 diabetic foot patients were randomized into the control group and the treatment group with 21 patients in each. In the control group the patients were treated with disinfection routinely and dressing changing. In the treatment group the patients were treated with the fresh skin of the bufo bufo gargarizans cantor covering the infected feet after routine disinfection treatment. The treatment effect, the healing time and the length of antibiotics treatment course were compared between the two groups. Results The treatment effect of the treatment group was 100.00%, significantly higher than 80.95% of the control group. The healing time of the treatment group was (9.05 ±4.09) days, shorter than (17.41±4.20)days of the control group. The length of the antibiotics treatment course of the treatment group was(9.33±4.73)days, shorter than (17.10±4.83) days of the control group. Conclusions The fresh skin of the bufo bufo gargarizans cantor can improve the recovery rate, shorten the healing time and the length of the antibiotics treatment course by covering the infected feet.

Objective:To study the effect of invigorating the kidney and spleen complex prescription on deltamethrin intoxicated pregnant rats. Methods:Pregnant rats were divided into 5 groups. Except the blank group, other groups were orally fed 1/20LD50(6.93mg/kg)DM daily from day 1 to 15 when proved pregrancy. 4 Hours later, rats in model group were given physiological saline, other 3 groups were given high/ median /low dose of Zhuyun Formula. Half pregnant rats were killed on D15. The rest was kept until labour. The abortion rate, survival rate, delivery condition, the level of estradiol, progestogen were observed. Results:With respect to abortion rate, model group showed statistical signifi cance when compared with other groups. Model group also showed low progesterone level. With the treatment Zhuyun Ⅲ,it had desirable effect in decreasing abortion rate, and increasing the level of progesterone. The labour time of all groups was within the normal range. Conclusion:DM had toxicity on reproduction,it could lead to abortion which was related to endocrine function of pregnant rats. Zhuyun Ⅲ could regulate the above condition and relief DM toxicity.
10. Apatinib combined with capecitabine in the treatment of advanced triple-negative breast cancer as third-line therapy: An observational study
Chinese Journal of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics 2020;25(4):433-439
AIM: To investigate the efficacy and safety of apatinib combined with capecitabine in the treatment of advanced triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) as third-line therapy. METHODS: Sixty advanced TNBC patients, who have failed to receive second-line palliative chemotherapy, were enrolled in the Department of Oncology, Anqing Hospital Affiliated to Anhui Medical University from February 2016 to September 2019. Patients were divided into observation group (n=30, received apatinib combined with capecitabine) and control group (n=30, received capecitabine) randomly. The objective response rate (ORR), disease control rate (DCR), progression-free survival (PFS), 1-year survival rate, overall survival (OS) and adverse events between the two groups were observed and compared. RESULTS:ORR was 26.67% and DCR was 86.67% in the observation group, while 6.67% and 60.00% in the control group, respectively. ORR and DCR in the observation group were better than those in the control group (P=0.038; 0.020). Meanwhile, the median PFS was 7.0 months in the observation group, while it was 5.0 months in the control group, which indicated that the observation group exhibited a higher PFS than the control group (P=0.000). The 1-year survival rate and the median OS was 55.30% and 13.0 months in the observation group respectively, while those were 46.30% and 12.0 months in the control group respectively, the OS showed no significant differences between the two groups (P=0.258). In addition, we also found that there was significant differences in the adverse reaction such as hypertension between the two groups (P=0.000), yet it was mild and tolerable after symptomatic treatment. CONCLUSION:Apatinib combined with capecitabine in the advanced TNBC maintenance treatment has a certain survival benefit for those who failed in second-line therapy, and adverse reactions are tolerable and controllable.
