Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of acupuncture-moxibustion plusMEI Te-lan’s manipulations in treating lumbar intervertebral disc herniation (LIDH) due to blood stagnation.Method Totally 248 LIDH patients due to blood stagnation were randomized into a treatment group of 123 cases and a control group of 125 cases. The treatment group was intervened by acupuncture-moxibustion plusMEI Te-lan’s manipulations, while the control group was by acupuncture-moxibustion plus tuina at lower back. The short-form McGill Pain Questionnaire (SF-MPQ) and Oswestry disability index (ODI) were observed before and after intervention, and the clinical efficacies were compared between the two groups.Result The total effective rate and recovery-markedly effective rate were respectively 80.5% and 52.0% in the treatment group, versus 72.8% and 20.0% in the control group. There was a significant difference in comparing the recovery-markedly effective rate between the two groups (P<0.05). In the treatment group, the Pain Rating Index (PRI) score, Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) score, Present Pain Intensity (PPI) score, and ODI score were significantly changed after 3-day, 6-day, and 20-day treatment compared to the scores before treatment (P<0.05). After 20-day treatment, the PRI, VAS, PPI, and ODI scores of the treatment group were significantly different from that of the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion Acupuncture-moxibustion plusMEI Te-lan’s manipulations is an effective method in treating LIDH due to blood stagnation.

Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2016;36(4):431-436
With the Meta-analysis method, the clinical efficacy of acupuncture and other regular methods for aphasia was evaluated, and the acupoints selection for aphasia was explored. The acupuncture literature of clinical randomized control trials for aphasia published in CNKI, WANFANG, VIP and CBM database was searched; the statistical analysis of clinical efficacy of acupuncture and other regular methods for aphasia was performed by using software Revman 5. 2 provided by Cochrane library. A file of Microsoft Excel was established to perform the analysis of acupoints selection based on frequency analysis method, so as to summarize the characteristics and rules. Totally 385 articles were searched, and 37 articles those met the inclusive criteria was included, involving 1,260 patients in the acupuncture group and 1 238 patients in the control group. The Meta-analysis results showed OR = 3.82, 95% Cl [3.01, 4.85]; rhombus was located on the right side and the funnel plot was nearly symmetry, indicating the treatment effect of the acupuncture group for aphasia was superior to the control group (Z = 11.04, P < 0.000 01). The frequency-analysis results showed that the frequency of acupoints from top to bottom was Lian-quan (CV 23), Tongli (HT 5), Yamen (GV 15), Jinjin (EX-HN 12), Yuye (EX-HN 13), Baihui (GV 20), Yuyan II, Yuyan I and Yuyan III. The frequency of meridians from top to bottom was the governor vessel, extra channels, conception vessel, heart meridian and large intestine meridian. It is concluded that the clinical efficacy of acupuncture combined with speech rehabilitation training and medication treatment for aphasia is superior to that of speech rehabilitation training and medication treatment alone. The clinical treatment for aphasia focuses on its local effect; the main acupoints are in the head and face, and the meridians are governor vessel, extra channels and conception vessel.

Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2016;22(6):684-687
Objective To explore the curative efficacy of astragalus injection on blood lipids and bone mineral density in patients with hemiplegia after ischemic stroke. Methods From January, 2014 to June, 2015, 116 patients with hemiplegia after ischemic stroke were col-lected and radomly divided into control group (n=54) and observation group (n=62). The control group received acupuncture based on con-ventional treatments, while the observation group received astragalus injection in addition. National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NI-HSS) and Ability of Daily Living Scale (ADL) were used to assess the neurologic impairment and the ability of daily living. The curative ef-ficacy and the levels of blood lipids and bone mineral density were observed. Results Compared with the control group, the curative efficien-cy increased (χ2=3.960, P<0.05). The score of NIHSS decreased (t=3.490, P=0.001), and the score of ADL increased (t=2.820, P=0.006). The levels of total cholesterol, triglyceride, low density lipoprotein cholesterol significantly decreased (t>4.190, P<0.001), however, the lev-el of high density lipoprotein cholesterol did not change (P>0.05). The densities in forearm, femur and Ward's area in the hemiplegia side in-creased (t>2.060, P<0.05). Conclusion Astragalus injection is effective on hemiplegia after ischemic stroke, which can increase the curative efficacy, alleviate the neurologic impairment, promote the ability of daily living, improve the blood lipids and increase the bone mineral den-sity.

In the cultural construction of independent institute, there exist the contradiction between tradition and innovation, cultural conflicts between private enterprises and the university. Therefore, adhering to the people-centered concept, coordinating tradition and innovation, merging the advantages of university culture and private enterprises culture into a whole, cultivating the unique spiritual culture, harmonious system culture and unified material culture of independent institute, forming the distinctive “Institute Culture” with its own cultural tradition will provide reference for the theory and practice to enrich and improve the connotative development of independent institute.

Objective To study the screening value of color doppler flow imaging (CDFI) for gastroesophageal reflux(GER).Methods Through the window of left lobe liver, the abdominal esophageal length, the phenomenon of GER and the frequency of GER were detected by CDFI in 55 children with GER and 55 control group. Results Abdominal esophagus was identified by CDFI in every children. The abdominal esophageal length was shorter in refluxers than that in control group. A significant correlation was found between its length and the age of control group. To diagnose GER with CDFI ,its accuracy was 98.18%,and its specificity was 76.36%.Conclusions Visualization and measurements of the abdominal esophagus are readily achieved with CDFI in children.Abdominal esophageal length is shorter in refluxers than that in control group. CDFI is a rapid method of screening GER.

Objective To study whether gastric liquid emptying is delayed in children with gastroesophageal reflux and its clinical significance. Methods At different times after meal, the gastric antral diameters were measured by real - time ultrasonography in 55 children with gastroesophageal reflux and 55 controls. Results At 20 min,60 min after meal , there was a significant difference in gastric emptying rate between case groups and control groups, respectively(P
