Objective To investigate the distribution of age and relationship of ESR with HCT.Methods The HCT,age and ESR datas of the patients which all ages were above 40 years were Collected,then count the mean and standard deviation x±s with different groups of HCT,t test was made to identify the significance of difference.Results HCT:The levels of hct in males was 0.47±0.26 in higher groups of HCT,0.39±0.27 in normal groups and 30.01 ±3.59 in lower groups.The levels of HCT in fe-males was 0.42±0.17 in higher groups,0.30±0.36 in normal groups,0.27±0.45 in lower groups;Age:The average age in males was 57.41±10.62 years in higher HCT groups of patients,67.23 ±12.75 in lower hct groups,there were significantly difference between them.The avarage age in females was 60.70 ± 11.60 in higher HCT groups of patients,61.60 ± 12.40 in lower HCT groups,there were no significantly difference between them.ESR:The levels of ESR in males was (3.95 ±3.26)mm/h in higher HCT groups,(61.61±40.04)mm/h in lower HCT groups;The ESR in females was (28.26±28.62)mm/h in higher HCT groups, (60.20±43.71)mm/h in lower HCT groups,there were significantly difference between different groups included both males and femals.Conclusion When the HCT were decreased,the age and ESR were increased in males,the ESR were also increased but had no relationship with ages in females.Conjuction the age and ESR,it could improve the prevention and monitoring in heart-brain blood disease through the HCT.

Objective To explore a method for establishing stable auditory deprived animal model of mouse.Methods Forty two-month old BALB/c mice with normal auditory brainstem response(ABR) thresholds were divided into two groups randomly.The experimental group underwent an incision inferior to the pinna,and the cochleas were destoried with a drill through the bulla bilaterally.The control group underwent only an incision without cochlea ablation.Mice were tested for ABR thresholds 4 month later to assess hearing sensitivity by comparing the ABR before and after operation.Results In the experimental group,auricle reflection disappeared after operation and ABR waves couldn't be detect.In the control group,the result of hearing test was normal.Conclusion Mouse cochlea ablation is a reliable method for establishing a stable auditory deprived animal model of mouse by the pinna inferior approach.It can be used to the research of auditory centre plasticity induced by auditory deprived.

AIM To study the chemical constituents from Buthus martensii Karsch.METHODS The dichloromethane and 70％ methanol fractions of B.martensii extract were isolated and purified by silica,ODS,Sephadex LH-20 and mid-pressure preparative column,then the structures of obtained compounds were identified by physiochemical properties and spectral data.RESULTS Nine compounds were isolated and identified as cholest4-en-3-one (1),cholesterol (2),uracil (3),1-stearyl-2-lyso-sn-glycero-3-phosphatidylcholine (4),glycerol (5),oleic acid (6),proline (7),alanine (8),leucine (9).CONCLUSION Compounds 1,4,5 are isolated from B.martensii for the first time.

Objective To compare the therapeutic effects and side effects of cisplatin-S-1 (CS) program and docetaxel-cisplatin-S-1(DCS) program on patients with malignant gastric tumor who were treated by laparoscopic gastrectomy.MethodsA total of 67 patients in our hospital from January 2010 to June 2013 were included in this study,of which 33 cases accepted cisplatin-S-1 program (CS group),34 cases accepted DCS program (DCS group).The related side effects including diarrhea,nausea and acute upper respiratory infection,change of routine blood tests,blood biochemical index,and death caused by chemotherapy were analyzed.The related index of surgery including operation time,blood loss,recovery time of gastrointestinal function,pain incidence,hospital stay,lymph nodes resection success rate,postoperative infection,obstruction,intestinal emptying delays were recorded.Meanwhile,the 3-year survival rate after operation and postoperative 3-year recurrence rate between the two groups were compared.Results There was no significant difference in operation time,intraoperative blood loss,postoperative recovery time of gastrointestinal function,the lymph nodes resection success rate,the incidence of postoperative pain,as well as the length of hospital stay,postoperative infection rate,and complications such as obstruction and intestinal emptying delays between the two groups(P>0.05).And there was no significant difference in chemotherapy-related complications between the two groups(P>0.05).But the postoperative 3-year survival rate and postoperative 3-year recurrence rate of DCS group was better than those of the CS Group(P<0.05).Conclusion There is no significant difference in complications and surgery-related index between the two preoperative chemotherapy.However,the DCS programs have more advantages in therapeutic effects.

AIM: To investigate the effect of mydriasis optometry combined with amblyopia treatment on refraction and amblyopia changes in children with mixed astigmatism and amblyopia.METHODS: Totally 163 children (289 eyes) of mixed astigmatism and amblyopia from January 2010 to May 2011 were treated.All of the patients received mydriatic optometry and spectaculars with amblyopia therapy and were followed up for 5a to observe amblyopia efficacy and refractive status changes.RESULTS: With 5a, main diameter diopter at distant vision decreased year by year, average decline in the first year was 0.55DS, 0.56DS in the second year, 0.72DS in the third year, 0.95DS in the fourth year, 1.89DS in the fifth year.The spherical equivalent changed from 1.12DS at distant to 0.78DS at near.The corrected visual acuity of all the patients at first visit was 0.2-0.8 with varying degrees amblyopia.After a 5-year treatment, it was effective in 268 eyes (92.7%), in which 165 eyes (57.1%) improved, 103 eyes (35.6%) cured, the results was better as the period of spectaculars wearing was longer.There was 36 eyes (37.5%) improved and 60 eyes (62.5%) cured in 1.50-2.50DC group;118 eyes (74.2%) improved, 41 eyes (25.8%) cured in 2.50-3.50DC group;11 eyes (32.3%) improved, 2 eyes (5.9%) cured, 21 eyes (61.8%) useless in >3.50DC Group.The differences of efficacy among the groups were significant (all P<0.05).CONCLUSION: Appropriate spectaculars is the basic for amblyopia treatment.It is effective for most children with mixed astigmatism and amblyopia to take mydriasis optometry and amblyopia treatment.

ObjectiveTo analyze the prevalence and epidemic trend of human brucellosis between 2007 -2010 in Qian'an county,and to provide a basis for future prevention and control measures. Methods Epidemiological data of brucellosis between 2007 - 2010 were obtained from the national disease surveillance report on management information system, population data were from the national disease surveillance information management system for basic information reporting system, and descriptive epidemiological methods was used for statistical analysis. Results A total of 86 cases were infected with brucellosis in Qian'an county from 2007 to 2010, with 68 cases of male and 18 cases of female, and male to female ratio was 3.78 : 1. Patients were mainly in the age of 20 - 55, with 40 - ＜ 45 year-old group the highest. All patients were local residents. Most professional were livestock acquisition, processing and aquaculture personnel. The majority of patients lived in Jianchang town,with 51 cases, accounting for 59.30％. Thirteen patients were reported in 2007, incidence was 0.0201‰(13/ 647 983). Thirty-nine patients were reported in 2010, and incidence was 0.0563‰(39/657 380). There was a fluctuations increase from 2007 to 2010. In 2007 brucellosis occurred in only two townships(towns), which spread to eight townships (towns) and urban areas in 2010. ConclusionsThe epidemic of human brucellosis in Qian'an is in a spreading trend. We recommend the government to strengthen the quarantine of livestock, and the infected livestock should be timely treated. Strengthen the prevention and control in Jianchangying. At the same time increase the brucellosis propaganda, and enhance self-protection awareness of the occupational groups.

Objective To investigate efficiency of centipede extracts on apoptosis induction, proliferation inhibition to Human A549 cell line and growth suppression of subcutaneous transplanted sarcoma in nude mice. Methods Centipede extracts prepared by enzymolysis and acetone precipitation methods were used to treat human lung cancer A549 cell line. Proliferation inhibition was evaluated by MTT assay and half inhibit concentration (IC50) was calculated. Cell morphological change and apoptosis were detected by flow cytometry and Hoechst stain. The subcutaneous transplanted sarcoma models were prepared with nude mice and randomly divided into model group, control group and centipede extracts group, with 10 mice in each group. Changes of tumor volume, quality and anti-tumor rate were observed.Results In vitro experiment, proliferation of A549 cells was inhibited with dose-dependency and IC50 value was 0.603 mg/mL. The G0/G1 phase of cells was down regulated and G2/M and S phase cells were up-regulated. The apoptotic character cells were been found by Hoechst stain. In vivo experiment, the tumor weight and volume decreased significantly compared with model control group, with statistical significance (P<0.01).Conclusion The centipede extracts shows dose-dependent anti-proliferative effect on A549 cells, which can induce apoptosis by arresting A549 cells at G2/M phase and suppressing growth of subcutaneous transplanted sarcoma of lung cancer in nude mice.

Objective To analyze the epidemiologic characteristics of epidemic hemorrhagic fever syndrome (EHF) from 2004 to 2010 and provide scientific basis for formulating control measures.Methods Epidemiological data of EHF between 2004 to 2010 were obtained from the“National Disease Surveillance Report on Management Information System”,and the population data were from the“National Disease Surveillance Information Management System for Basic Information Report System”.Descriptive epidemiological methods was used for statistical analysis.ResultsA total of 173 cases were reported in Qian'an from 2004 to 2010.From 2004 to 2010,the cases were 86,67,12,1,0,1,and 7 cases,respectively,and the rate were 13.12/10 million ( 86/640 249 ),10.42/10 million (67/642 688 ),1.86/10 million ( 12/645 124),0.15/10 million (1/647 983 ),0(0/650 720),0.15/10 million( 1/653 839),and 0.11/10 million(7/657 380),respectively.The overall rate was 3.86/10 million(25/648 283) of population.From 2004 to 2008 the incidence reported declined rapidly,then increased slowly after 2009.The cases were found intensively in winter(November - next January) and spring season (february - may).The incidence in the age group of 10 - 45 was higher than that of other age groups,and the total number of cases was 82.08％(142/173).The incidence in males( 114 cases) was higher than that of females(59 cases).Occupational distribution mainly to peasants and students,which accounted for 87.86％ (152/173).Conclusions Epidemic in the city declines rapidly follows by a slow recovery,suggesting that in the future surveillance,mice-killing and protection of vulnerable population should be strengthened.

Objective To reduce the turnaround time for laboratory diagnosis of bacteremia, the feasibility of rapid identification and susceptibility testing using samples taken directly from positive blood culture bottles was evaluated. Methods The growth of microorganisms in blood culture bottles was screened by the BACTEC 9000 blood culture system. 65 positive blood culture bottles containing gram-negative bacteria were adopted to test. Culture fluid was injected into BD SST vacutainer and centrifuged to pellet blood cells. After collecting required McFarland units, they were cultured on Phoenix 100 NMIC/ID-4(identification-gram-negative bacteria and susceptibility testing) cards using 0.25 McF and 0.5 McF methods respectively. They were also evaluated by the standard method, involving subculture tests from positive blood culture bottles. Results 63 of 65 gram-negative bacteria (96. 9% ) were correctly identified with 0. 25 McF method. 59 of 65 gram-negative bacteria(90.8% ) were correctly identified with 0.5 McF method. For antimicrobial susceptibility testing, the 0.25 McF direct method had an agreement rate more than 94% , the 0.5 McF method was more than 85.7% and direct blood sample KB method was more than 93.8% compared to the standard method. But the overall minor error rate in susceptibility testing of direct blood sample KB method is higher than other methods. Conclusion Applying 0. 25 McF and 0. 5 McF rapid identification and susceptibility test was practical. During to possessing more prominent advantages, laboratory put the 0. 25 McF direct method into practice had a timely, remarkable significance.

Objective To observe the clinical effect of health education pathway on patients after hip replacement. Methods Patients after artificial hip replacement (200 cases) were divided randomly into the observation group and the control group with 100 cases in each group.The control group adopted general health education methad.The observation group was given health education according to health education pathway.The level of disease-related knowledge and satisfactory degree were compared between the two groups. Results The level of disease-related knowledge and satisfactory degree in the observation group were higher than those of the control group (P ＜ 0.01 ). Conclusions Health education pathway can facilitate level of disease-related knowledge and positive cooperation with treatment and nursing of patients as well as increase satisfactory degree of patients.
