1.Clinical application of point of care testing and the potential problems
Chinese Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2012;(12):1062-1065
The clinical application of POCT technology is growing wider, the most significant advantage of this technology is to get the test results quickly,Therefore clinicians could make clinical decisions in time and choose appropriate approaches or interventions. However,it should be taken seriously that while POCT helps patients to get medical care successfully, the potential harm to the patients cannot be ignored.Hence it is essential that normative documents should be imposed as soon as possible. The technology of POCT can benefit the entire society only if the proper administration to approve the use of POCT technology is taken control of; the comprehensive and normative quality management is implemented, and the appropriate training to the related clinicians and nurses is enforced.
2.Clinical observation of implantable collamer lens in treatment of super high myopia
Journal of Regional Anatomy and Operative Surgery 2013;(6):654-655
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of implantable collamer lens ( ICL) in the treatment of super high myopia. Methods 20 patients with high myopia were given ICL,and changes in patients with visual acuity, intraocular pressure and corneal endothe-lial cells, and surgery-related complications and outcome were observed. Results Before surgery, the visual acuity of patients was (0. 10±0. 05),and postoperative (0. 60±0. 20),the difference was statistical significance(P<0. 05);the intraocular pressure and corneal endothe-lial cells of patients did not change significantly after surgery, with less postoperative complications. Conclusion The ICL has a very signifi-cant effect in the treatment of super high myopia, which can help to improve the patient's quality of life, and it is worthy of wide promotion and application.

4.Treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma with portal vein tumor thrombus
Journal of International Oncology 2012;39(3):225-227
Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) with portal vein tumor thrombus (PVTT) is one of the difficult points of liver cancer treatment. At present, there are various clinical treatments of HCC with PVTT which have great significance to lengthen the survival time of patients with liver cancer and improve the quality of life.Surgical therapy and interventional treatment play important roles in the treatments of HCC with PVTT.

6.Molecular biomarkers related prognosis in hepatocellular carcinoma
Journal of International Oncology 2015;(5):395-398
The occurence and progress of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is a complex network inter-action process connected by multiple signaling pathways involving genes, cells and various active molecules. The effects and functions of biological molecular markers also vary among different pathways. Moreover,wheth-er the molecular markers have prediction effects for the prognosis of HCC remains unclear, and studies investing this issue are still insufficient. The current studies reveal that molecular markers involves in multiple pathways including gene expression, gene regulation, cell cycle regulation, cancer stem cell proliferation and differentia-tion. These processes are intimately associated with the occurrence and prognosis of HCC. The relevant gene or molecular that may indicate the prognosis of HCC includes p53 gene, long non-coding RNA,cell cycle regula-tors,liver cancer stem cell surface-associated molecules, etc.
7.Human Serum Trypanosome Lytic Factor and Serum Resistance-Associated Protein of Trypanosome
Chinese Journal of Parasitology and Parasitic Diseases 1987;0(02):-
Human African trypanosomiasis is caused by the infection of Trypanosoma brucei gambiense or T.b. rhodesiense, while another morphologically identical subspecies, T.b.brucei, and other closely related species, T.equiper-dum and T.evansi, are considered not infectious to human. This is highly related to the trypanosome lytic factor (TLF) found in normal human serum (NHS) and the serum resistance-associated (SRA) protein of trypanosomes infectious to human. We reviewed the research progress in TLF and its role in trypanosome lysis as well as the mechanism of SRA against the TLF.
9.Development and application of hearing screening scales for elderly:a literature review
Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2016;32(6):467-471
Health problems caused by age-related hearing loss can not be ignored, and elderly hearing screening that aimed to detect early and intervene early is of importance. As one of the main screening tools, elderly hearing screening scales are rarely used in China, so the paper mainly reviewed the development and application of hearing screening scales for elderly and provided a reference for future research and clinical application.
10.Application of rapid prototype and 3D printing in therapy of complex pilon fractures
Chinese Journal of Orthopaedic Trauma 2016;18(1):42-46
Objective To investigate the value of 3D rapid prototype technology in therapy of complex pilon fractures. Methods In this study,60 patients with pilon fracture who had been hospitalized during January 2013 to May 2014 were randomly and equally divided into a 3D group and a control group according to their hospitalization order. The 3D group:21 males and 9 females,an average age of 34.8 ±6.0 years,13 cases of AO type C2 and 17 ones of AO type C3.The control group:21 males and 9 females,an average age of 35.8 ±6.2 years,12 cases of AO type C2 and 18 ones of AO type C3.The 3D group received surgery aided by rapid prototype and 3D printing while the control group underwent conventional surgery with open reduction and internal fixation. In the 3D group, the distal tibia models were manufactured by 3D rapid prototyping technology based on the 3D reconstructions which were accomplished by computer aided technology. The diagnosis, classification and preoperative plan were then conducted using the models. The 2 groups were compared in terms of operation time, postoperative skin necrosis and infection, and Maryland foot function scoring at the last follow-up.The 2 groups were compatible in preoperative demographic data (P > 0.05).Results There were significant differences between the 3D and control groups in operation time (65.1 ±4.8 minutes versus 80.5 ± 3.6 minutes) and rate of postoperative complications [6.7% (2/30) versus 16.7% (5/30)] (P <0.05).There was no significant difference between the 2 groups in the excellent to good rate by Maryland foot function scoring at the last follow-up [76.7% (23/30) versus 73.3% (22/30)] (P > 0.05).Conclusion Since rapid prototype and 3D printing technology can display the morphology of pilon fracture intuitively and stereoscopically,it helps surgeons with accurate assessment of the fracture.3D printed models of the pilon fracture pre-operatively raise the accuracy of reduction, reduce both operation time and incision complications, and facilitate functional recovery.
