1.Recent advances in the study of G protein-coupled receptor 40/free fatty acid receptor 1
Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 1986;0(02):-
Free fatty acids(FFAs) provide an important energy source and also act as signaling molecules.Medium to long-chain free fatty acids can activate the intracellular signal pathways in the pancreatic ?-cells and play a role in regulating insulin secretion as an extracellular signal molecular via binding to the FFA receptor G protein-coupled receptor 40(GPR40). Furthermore,GPR40 is associated with several biological effects including cell proliferation and antiapoptosis of nerve cells.GPR40 act an important role in the connection of obesity and diabetes or cancers.GPR40 will probably become a novel kind of antidiabetic and anticancer drugs.

3.Multimedia teaching physical diagnosis
Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2003;0(04):-
Medical diagnostics is an important subject using basic theory, basic knowledge and basic skills in the diagnosis of the disease. However, the traditional teaching of physical diagnosis only provides the limited clinical operations based on the books, and lacks detailed and comprehensive knowledge of important theories of practical application, while the multi-media in the samples on the application of diagnostics can be a good solution to this problem.
4.Clinical Research on Elderly Hypertension of Kidney Deficiency and Blood Stasis Syndrome Intervened with Bushen Huoxue Decoction
Chinese Journal of Information on Traditional Chinese Medicine 2015;(2):25-27
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Bushen Huoxue Decoction on elderly hypertension of kidney deficiency and blood stasis syndrome. Methods Totally 106 patients with elderly hypertension of kidney deficiency and blood stasis syndrome were divided into control group (53 cases) and treatment group (53 cases), according to random number table method. The control group was treated with routine western medicine, while the treatment group was given Bushen Huoxue Decoction along with western medicine treatment for 8 weeks. The changes of TCM syndrome, blood pressure, TG, TC, LDL-C, HDL-C, high sensitivity C reactive protein (hs-CRP), interleukin-6 (IL-6), and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) before and after treatment of the two groups were observed. Results The total effective rate of anti-hypertension was 94.33%(50/53) in the treatment group and was 77.35% (41/53) in the control group. The total effective rate of clinical symptoms was 96.22%(51/53) in the treatment group and was 79.24%(42/53) in the control group. After treatment, TG, TC, LDL-C, HDL-C, hs-CRP, IL-6, and TNF-α were improved significantly in the treatment group, with statistical significance compared with the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Bushen Huoxue Decoction combined with western medicine achieves the good efficacy on elderly hypertension of kidney deficiency and blood stasis syndrome.
5.Early intervention programs in improving development outcome of premature infants
International Journal of Pediatrics 2014;41(1):94-97
Preterm birth is the main factor affecting the lives and quality of life for premature infants, which is also the main cause for a large economic burden on family, society and medical system. It has been confirmed that the bad neurodevelopment outcome can be effectively prevented by early intervention programs, which are including therapeutic developmental interventions targeting the infants,as well as psychosocial support and education for parents. This review summarizes early intervention programs for improving developmenr outcome in recent years.
6. Preparation of Lingyi Formula multicomponent microemulsion and its anti-lung cancer activity
Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 2014;45(22):3284-3288
Objective: To prepare Lingyi Formula multicomponent microemulsion and evaluate its anti-lung cancer activity. Methods: Lingyi Formula multicomponent microemulsion was prepared by aqueous titration method using polysaccharides solution of Ganoderma lucidum and Coix lachryma-jobi var. ma-yuen as aqueous phase and coix seed oil as oil phase, loading ganoderma triterpenes. The average particle size, Zeta potential, and stability were detected. The results of antitumor efficacy including tumor inhibitory rate, body weight change, immune organ index, and concentration of TNF-α and IL-6 were investigated. Besides, pathological section of tumor tissue and TUNEL labeling were conducted subsequently. Results: The prepared microemulsion displayed spherical surface with mean droplet size of (69.92 ± 8.43) nm, polydispersity (PDI) of 0.060 ± 0.008, and Zeta potential of (-11.30 ± 1.34) mV. Tumor inhibitory rate of microemulsion (57.25%) was significantly higher than that of suspension (45.89%), immune tissue index as well as the concentration of TNF-α and IL-6 were increased significantly. TUNEL labeling and pathological section of tumor tissue showed that the antitumor activity of microemulsion was significantly effective compared with that of suspensions. Conclusion: Lingyi Formula multicomponent microemulsion has a good anti-lung cancer activity.

Chinese Journal of Orthopaedics 1999;0(04):-
Objective To explore the technique outcome of fixing the ventral stress pedicle screws into the injured vertebrae, as a method to enhance the posterior internal fixation. Methods From March 2002 to March 2005, 33 single thoracolumbar fractures were studied retrospectively. Among which, 16 cases were treated with the above method(group A), and the other 17 were treated with traditional two-level fixation(group B). Group A involved 11 males and 5 females, aged 48 years averagely(range, 32-74 years); and group B included 12 males and 5 females, aged from 21 to 61 years(mean, 40 years). All the patients underwent the operation within up to 3 weeks after fracture. For the injured vertebral bodies, their pedicles were intact on either unilateral or bilateral side, and their lower half and endplate were free from split. In group A, the pedicle screws in the injured vertebrae were used to achieve the ventral press vertical to the distraction for the stress neutralization, and also with the routine distraction and lordosis restoration, simultaneously. The mean follow-up period was 11 months with a range from 6 to 24 months. Results After operation, the optimal Cobb angle and anterior column restoration were achieved through the ventral reduction from the injured vertebral body, which was the contribution from the vertical stress pedicle screw. The degree in anterior movement of injured vertebrae pre- and postoperatively was much more in group A than group B, and the difference was of statistical significance(P

Orthopedic Journal of China 2006;0(07):-
[Objective]To report a new surgical technique of total en bloc spondylectomy for complete resection of primary spinal malignancy and for oncologic curability. The conventional approach for primary spinal malignancy is via intralesional piecemeal resection, and very few reports have described en bloc extralesional resectioning with histopathologically wide or marginal surgical margins.[Method]Total en bloc spondylectomy, consisting of en bloc laminectomy and en bloc corpectomy followed by anterior instrumentation with spacer grafting and posterior spinal instrumentation, was performed in five patients with primary malignant tumors and two patients with giant cell tumors.Patients were observed for 2 years to 6.5 years, except for one patient who died 7 months after surgery because of mediastinal metastasis.[Result]All patients attained significant clinical improvement after surgery with no major complications except one.Histologically, the margins were wide or marginal except for the pedicles, and occasionally the spinal canal and the posterior, where they were accepted to be intralesional. One patient died of metastasis that was not directly related to surgery itself. There was no local recurrence.[Conclusion]The advantages of total en bloc spondylectomy include resection of the involved vertebra(e)in two major blocs, rather than in a piecemeal pattern, and completion of the procedure during one surgical session posteriorly. The"total en bloc spondylectomy"offers one of the most aggressive modes of therapy for primary spinal malignancy.
