2.Analysis of the diagnostic methods and etiological factors in patients with fever of unknown origin
Chinese Journal of Practical Internal Medicine 2006;0(S2):-
Objective To analyze the diagnostic methods and etiological factors in patients with fever of unknown origin (FUO).Methods The clinical data of 358 patients with FUO,Who were treated in hospital since February 2001 to April 2005,were retrospectively analyzed. Results Among the 358 patients,312 patients were definitely agnosed(87.2%),A- mong the 312 definitely diagnosis patients,172 cases were infectious disease(132 cases were bacterial infection,31 cases were virus infection,6 eases were fungus infection and 3 cases belonged to other disese),143 cases were bacterial were non-infections disease(66 cases were collagen vascular diseases,63 cases were malignant tumor and 14 cases belonged to other disese).46 cases remained origin-unknown until they were discharged from hospital. Conclusion In the diag- nosis of FUO,We should manage to collect oathogenic, immunologic and pathologic evidences.Infectious diseases, collagen vascular diseases and malignant tumors are the main causes of FUO.
3.Clinical research of endodontic mandibular first molar by different restoration methods
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2016;23(9):1409-1412
Objective To compare the clinical results of endodontic mandibular first molar by different restoration methods. Methods From January 2011 to February 2013,96 patients in our hospital dental visits with 110 defective teeth who accepted the dental restoration were randomly selected in this clinical research. The repairing of defective teeth were divided into 3 groups randomly:36 were fabricated with CAD/CAM zirconia all -ceramic crowns,35 were CAD/CAMzirconia all -ceramic onlays,39 were direct filling and repairing with composite resins. The clinical effects of 3 groups were evaluated and compared at baseline, and 1,6,12 months after restoration using modified USPHS criteria. The results were analyzed statistically by SPSS 13.0.Results It was not found that 110 defective teeth were debonded at 12 months after restoration. There were significant differences in assessment results of secondary caries, marginal fitness, appearance and color matching at 12 months after restoration by different restoration methods (χ2 =6.705,7.768,6.910,11.624,all P <0.05).Conclusion The dental restorations with CAD/CAMzirconia all -ceramic crowns and CAD/CAM zirconia all -ceramic onlays show satisfactory clinical performance in short time.
6.Molecular imaging probes for integrin ?_V?_3
China Oncology 1998;0(04):-
Integrin ?V?3, one of the major members of the integrin family, plays a pivotal role in tumor angiogenesis because it mediates the cell-extracellular matrix and cell to cell adhesion as well as controls cells proliferation, differentiation, cellular modality and motility.Due to restricted high-expressions in tumors, integrin ?V?3, is considered a suitable targeting receptor for tumor diagnosis. In the past decade, several molecular imaging tracers for integrin ?V?3, have been used to noninvasively visualize its expression in tumor tissues and angiogenic blood vessels through the usage of nuclear imaging, nuclear magnetic resonance imaging, ultrasound, and optical imaging.Noninvasive detection of integrin ?V?3, expression can potentially be used for tumor diagnosis and prognosis. The current imaging probes used to target integrin ?V?3, through usage of different technologies are briefly recapitulated in this review.
7.THE CLINICAL EFFECT OF “FULING”(PORIS COCOS) ON TYPE 2 DIABETIC PATIENTS
Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 1983;0(05):-
60 year) were recruited for this study and tested with " Fuling "(poris cocos),which is rich in insoluble fibers. Fuling (50g per day),in the form of steamed bun,was given to each subject twice a day(breakfast and supper) for seven days.Fasting and postprandial blood glucose were measured before and after the study. Results:The fasting blood glucose levels before and after the study were 8 76?2 04mmol/L and 7 94?1 45mmol/L,respectively ( ?s , P
8.EFFECTS OF ?-CAROTENE ON THE STABILITY OF RBC-MEMBRANE STRUCTURE IN RATS
Acta Nutrimenta Sinica 1956;0(04):-
Objective: To study the effect of ?- carotene(?-C) on lipid peroxidation and RBC-membrane fluidity of rats inflicted with alloxan. Methods: Forty-four 2mo-old Wistar rats were randomly divided into 4 groups and fed with basal diet (group A and B), basal diet + vitamin E (200 mg/kg) (C) and basal diet+? carotene (200 mg/kg) (D) for 4 w respectively. Then, alloxon (3%) was injected intraperitoneally except group A, which was injected with normal saline. After 48 h the rats were killed and a series of indices were examined. Results: After injected with alloxan, Na +,K +-ATPase and GSH-Px activity, RBC-membrane fluidity in rats fed with diets C,D were markedly increased while MDA levels were decreased. Conclusion: ?-C and V E can decrease lipid peroxidation and increase the stability of RBC-membrane in rats inflicted with alloxan.
9.THE EFFECTS OF PROPAGANDA AND EDUCATION ON ACCEPTANCE OF BALANCED DIET IN THE ELDERLY
Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 2001;0(09):-
To carry out propaganda and education regarding nutrition in the elderly is to improve their knowledge about balanced diets, appropriate nutrition in relation to health, to rectify their original irrational diet hapbits, and to select scientifically their nutritious diets. 797 retired military cadres were enrolled for the study of the effects of education. The results showed that proper education significantly changed their irrational diet habits, sach as over nutrition and under nutrition, and improper constitution of fatty acid in the food, and obesity and over-weight were corrected after the propaganda and education regarding nutrition were carried out. This study suggested that it was very important to edacate elderly people in regard to proper diet habit to help them give up their bad habits on selecting foods, and to avoid obecity and constipation.
10.Therapeutic Effect of Herbal Fumigation and Steaming for Rheumatoid Arthritis and Its Anti-inflammation Mechanism
Journal of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine 1999;0(02):-
Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of herbal fumigation and steaming for rheumatoid arthritis(RA) and to explore its anti-inflammation mechanism. Methods Twenty-two RA patients were randomized into two groups: group A(N=10) received meloxican and methotrexate, and group B(N=12) received herbal fumigation and steaming of Xunzheng Prescription(mainly composed of Rhizoma et Radix Notopterygii,Radix Angelicae Pubescentis,Radix Saposhnikoviae,Ramulus Cinnamomi,Herba Asari,Rhizoma Chuanxiong,Caulis Piperis Kadsurae,Radix Cynanchi Paniculati,Rhizoma Curcumae Longae,Lignum Sappan,Borneolum Syntheticum) additionally. The treatment lasted 20 days. The changes of joint symptoms and signs, erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR) and C-reactive protein(CRP) were observed before and after treatment.Serum tumornecrosis factor ?(TNF-?) and intercellular adhesion molecule 1(ICAM-1) contents were detected by enzymelinked immunoassay. Results Compared with group A,joint pain and tenderness index as well as morning stiffness time were improved in group B (P
